Comprehensive and advanced EHR solution
Pros

Compulink healthcare system is the best EHR solution for my practice that I have used in my 16 years long experience in medical healthcare. The software integrates really well with third-party vendors. The platform offers a plethora of features specific to our practice needs and its amazing. There are several built-in templates enabling you to get charting and note-taking done efficiently. On top of that, there’s much scope for customization to set things to your precise requirements, without bothering with the workarounds. The support staff is top-notch. They are kind and always willing to work with you to find the best solution for your issues. And more importantly, always readily available.

Cons

There is such a thing as too much choice. The customization ability requires you to first have a good idea of what you want the outcome to be and how to get that. Otherwise, it can get very complicated, very quickly. The new updates always have some bugs and minor glitches but the company has been great at helping us get rid of them.

Innovative and extremely user-friendly
Pros

I love the functionality of Compulink. Charting and scheduling are very easy with this platform, there a number of tools to help with it. You get all the data on one window when creating a new patient file. Note taking is a breeze. The system’s quick processing allows you to see more patients in less time.

Cons

Fixing errors in the billing process can be such a hassle. I wish there was an option to fix the problem yourself in real-time with a self-help guide or something, that would have been great.

Pros

It is indeed the best software. I wish that I had implemented this software in my practice sooner. Patient documentation has become easier for me with this software. The customer support is prompt and always helps. For me, this software has been the best employee.

All in one solution!
Pros

There are a few glitches here and there with the software, but the customer team at Compulink is quite attentive and resolves the queries at the earliest possible time. In addition, I like the robust features that help me practice medicine like a breeze.

Cons

Setting up the Look Up Tables took me a very long time.

I started using Compulink last year, and I am very content with my decision. My previous software frequently crashed down, but Compulink is straightforward to navigate. I have a smooth experience with Compulink, and my staff is also satisfied. There’s nothing I don’t like.

Pros

The appointment scheduling tool by Compulink has streamlined my patient scheduling process. In addition, I like how the software offers practice management and billing tools, all accessible from a single location. Overall, I recommend the software to everyone as it has helped me practice much more efficiently.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve for this software, but there would be any new software. Difficulties with updates sometimes come up, but they have been short-lived and customer service has been amazing.

Great for a psych practice
Pros

Documentation is easy to follow, and you can easily add notes to the chart. The pdf reports look great, and it saves a lot of time.

Cons

It does not integrate with Quickbooks and that really hinders our productivity.

EHR allowed us to have a customized software and our product specialist dealing with us was well informed.

Cons

Unfortunately, there is a limited amount of charts that can be opened at once. The scheduling system requires work before it meets the description seamlessly. It takes time for new users to get comfortable.

Highly disappointing

Don’t have anything good to say. there’s an issue with it every single day.

Cons

We have been using Compulink HS in a psychiatric practice in New York for years. Lately, we are trying to jump ships and find a different her system that offers better functionalities and is more specific to our specialty requirements. This software just doesnt work. It has been almost a year since CHS has been a constant pain for our office, no one can get it to work properly. I have lost count of the times weve called the customer service and submitted complaints, even sent a letter to the company owners yet no use. The providers, staff, and patients all are very frustrated with the system. What a complete waste of money!

Among the few rare good qualities this system has to offer is the relative ease of use. The layout is somewhat intuitive. It does allow customization but how to do it, is really difficult to figure out. the least user-friendly system you’ll ever use.

Cons

I cannot fathom why anyone would use this software willingly or how on earth, they give it good reviews. The software has been a complete nightmare. The billing system is so awful. The entire company is seemed to be run by unprofessional people. They are constantly rolling out new updates for the software and with each update, one thing may be fixed but there are a million new errors that you have to wait for the next update to fix. Its a constant cycle of drop downs and other basic features not functioning then being fixed then something else not functioning. Their customer service might as well be non-existent. Whenever you manage to get access to them, they offer no help and are generally rude and uninterested.

Poor implementation of a promising concept.
Pros

The software is relatively easy to use. There is a long list of numbers you can call to get help. Some of the tech support staff is very knowledgeable.

Cons

Compulink healthcare EHR seemed like a cool concept from the demo, but the implementation of the software is sloppy, to say the least. There are too many glitches and issues in every section. The support is terrible and never of any help. Their only excuse for no follow up0s is the time difference, whenever they call our clinic is closed. As if one phone call would fix the plethora of issues budding in every corner. The billing module is a poorly designed mess. We are finally considering leaving Compulink even though it cost us a lot with the software contract, its set up and training sessions for multiple offices but we are not gaining anything from the money we wasted on it either. In fact, its losing us money.

Poor PM for orthopedics
Pros

The software has quite a few nice features to facilitate easy charting. The people at Compulink Healthcare were kind enough to send specialists and learned training staff to come and help us set up the system according to the requirements of an orthopedics office.

Cons

The practice management section is not at all equipped to handle ortho practice. There is no way around it. We had to learn how to make-do with the existing tools but it is quite a hassle. I would not recommend orthopedics to use CHS.

Promising concept. Needs improvements
Pros

The system offers a great deal of adaptability. Their functionality is amazing, with such ease of use. Their customer support is readily available and has been a great help throughout our experience with Compulink. Their billing system is robust and effective. The software is relatively very user-friendly.

Cons

Compulink Healthcare systems take quite a while to get used to. The learning curve was slightly challenging. The support staff has proved to be very helpful in that regard as well.

Cool features. Disappointing functionality
Pros

The system is pretty decent if you only use it for basic psych practice or eyecare clinic. It has some nice psych group features, its a different issue that they seldom work as they should. The software has a selection of some really good features like PractiWatch, SmartFunction, and Patient Action items.

Cons

The company made big promises at the time of sale and were quite hopeful but the implementation has been a nightmare and a total waste of money. Nothing works right. The appointment scheduling module is obsolete, there is no interface supporting Outlook. They are very slow when it comes to fixing reported problems. Implementation and QA teams seem to need much improvement. There is a rapidly growing list of limitations which is causing many delays for our go-live.

Too complex, unintuitive and very expensive
Pros

There are perhaps too many options for you to play with. The customization allows you to change the system’s working to fir the requirements of your practice. The layout is user-friendly and the tabs, considerably functional and helpful since we use them a lot.

Cons

The software is too complicated. It has so many layers of information and processing which is extremely confusing. Compulink still uses DSM-IV terminology. Incomprehensive for the staff. It is hard to understand and learn. It does not cater to substance-abuse patients. The training program, I feel, did not do a good job of preparing us to use the system. There was a lot of learning left for us to do on our own after the training, which was not worth the money spent.

Unreliable and outdated
Pros

Far too many issues. The EHR is mediocre at best. Scheduling module is nice although it doesn’t work right half the times. Billing system is also fairly nice, that doesn’t properly work half the times either. The only good thing is that it is designed specifically for ophthalmology which eliminates most of the workarounds regular ehr software requires.

Cons

Compulink could have been a good EHR solution if anything worked the way it was promised. There is far too much frustration trying to operate this system. It is unreliable and inconsistent in its functionality. The support staff doesn’t always follows up on problems. The billing coding is outdated. Incomprehensive reports for regulations like MIPS and MU. We are stuck with this overpriced system because the entire process of switching EHR system with the transition, set up, training and the resources exhausted is too much.

Cluttered and outdated.
Pros

It isn’t inexpensive in comparison to other products, but it is quite difficult to understand and use.

Cons

It has so many features which aren’t useful at all for a doctor who is quite busy. The system feels quite cluttered, and that it needs to be more organized. It is hard to use it with MAC. If you are starting out new, you need to stay away from this product, but if for some reason you have to use it, try your best to learn it and don’t worry it takes time.

Great Product!
Pros

The system is detailed and has a lot of new customizations. The claims are easy to submit. The reports are thorough, and you are able to choose whatever you want to see on the reports.

Cons

It would be great if this product also was able to have multiple screens at a time, like other software products. This would make patient reports and comparison much easier for us. It also has an old DOS statement effect, which I do think needs an update.

It has so many options to customize it according to the doctors needs and wants. They provide with flexible templates. The support is great and always ask for the customers feedback so that they can improve the product more. They constantly keep updating the software which is great.

Cons

The software has a high learning curve. It is not easy to get your hands on this product easily. To get the full potential of the software, one should know how to code. So, for someone who has no idea of coding will have to face a lot of issues or won’t be able to get this software to work at its full potential. The training process is also not straight forward.

Pros

Electronic billing is somewhat bearable but not good at all. I just think of changing it and would also let people know that they shouldn’t go with this product.

Cons

The customer service is ZERO. They do say that they would fix things, but that never happen, at least I haven’t seen anything being better. Everything about this product is worse. You keep clicking and clicking but never get whatever you’re trying to get. The product isn’t intuitive at all. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone. It would just waste your time and won’t get anything done for you.
