You have your own customer service rep and one monthly fee!

Pros

First and foremost the personalized customer service offered by CounSol sets it apart. Secondly its single monthly fee simplifies the pricing structure. Thirdly the software ensures HIPAA compliance with its video conferencing and messaging capabilities. Lastly it impresses with its intuitive yet robust features including invoicing credit card payment processing and automated online processes like forms processing session scheduling and messaging. Although I haven't utilized the insurance processing feature I can confidently attest to the overall excellence of the software.

Cons

It would be preferable if the user interface had a more modern look. Additionally the video experience quality could be enhanced.

CounSol is a user-friendly software that benefits both practitioners and clients. It serves as a comprehensive platform where I can store client information manage case notes communicate securely via email and handle billing directly. Clients have the convenience of scheduling and canceling sessions easy communication with me and a secure private space for journaling. It truly provides a one-stop solution for all my practice needs.

Cons

Whenever I encountered issues with CounSol their support team provided excellent customer service. Setting up online paperwork was a bit challenging but with feedback from the CounSol team we quickly resolved the issues.

Pros

The software's ease of use is its most appealing aspect. Having tried multiple EHR software options CounSol stands out as the favorite allowing me to focus on providing excellent service to clients without the stress of charting. The reasonable price and excellent support further enhance the experience.

Cons

I have been utilizing CounSol for 5-6 years and it has been incredibly beneficial in keeping me organized on schedule and user-friendly. Generating progress notes assigning homework and creating treatment plans are effortless. This software is highly effective.

Cons

I haven't encountered any problems with CounSol except for the telehealth option which had sound quality issues back when I tried it a few years ago.

CounSol seamlessly integrates every aspect from client account creation to billing at the end of a session. My clients can easily access their accounts securely message me schedule or reschedule appointments and complete required paperwork. This has significantly reduced my administrative workload allowing me to dedicate more time to my clients. The support from my designated account manager at CounSol is efficient and respectful. Additionally the account manager customized my CounSol site to match my personal website.

Multiple parents for multiple children equal too many accounts that have to be made

Pros

The feature that allows clients to add their own appointment times was the primary reason for my initial purchase of this software.

Cons

It is a bit time-consuming and confusing to manage appointments and billing between two parent accounts. This often leads to "double booking" and difficulties in determining who owes what. It would be greatly beneficial if the software allowed for a designated child's name as the primary client with the option to add one or two parents separately. Each parent should have the ability to complete an intake form and securely add their credit card information without the other parent being able to access it. This enhancement would streamline the process and eliminate confusion.
