Pros

The software's user interface, billing functionality, scheduling capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and customer service are all highly praised.

Cons

The intervention/technique categories are fixed, and most don't apply to my child therapy practice. Counsol would be even better if I could customize these categories/checkboxes to suit my therapy.

Outstanding individual tech support, along with auto-populated CMS-1500 forms, enhances efficiency. Moreover, the user-friendly interface simplifies client management tasks.

Cons

I wish there were session options on Counsol matching each location listed on the CMS-1500 form, as I see kids at schools under contract with the local school district.

Great product for bililng but not so great for clinicians

Pros

The software's ability to protect client data while facilitating invoicing, claims processing, telehealth sessions, electronic communication, and document management is commendable. Despite minor drawbacks such as small font size, the system remains user-friendly.

Cons

It's tailored for outpatient therapy sessions, and other billable activities like crisis intervention or groups aren't supported due to invoice/document ties. The calendar is clunky, with small font size and no option to enlarge it. Editing appointments is difficult, as they must be canceled rather than modified. Account management is overly involved in most actions.

Daily user - Very pleased!

Pros

Once ERAs start coming in, secondary billing becomes much easier compared to other EHRs I've used. I also like the integrated payments and the secure platform for video sessions and messaging.

Cons

I miss the ability to attach files with claims. Also, it's slightly pricier than other EHRs as each upgrade or feature, such as telehealth ability, access to Wiley notes, and even the Clearinghouse, requires separate payment. Manual entry of payments and remittance advices is time-consuming.

Cons

Initial setup for insurance billing and all billing software can be challenging to grasp. Billing insurance is particularly difficult.
