Whenever I needed help, customer support team member was always available to guide me through the issues I had in the beginning. I really like his hands-on service.

Cons

I find it quite frustrating that I cannot export all my session notes for the month in one batch. Instead, I have to download the notes for each client individually. I've requested a fix for this issue a couple of times.

Pros

I was introduced to CounSol during my internship, where the clinical I worked at used it. I liked it then and now that I own my own mental health clinic and am both owner and supervisor, I can access features I did not have as an intern. I am very pleased with the software. I've worked with other EHRs and did not like them at all.

Cons

If I had to pick a downside, it would be the telehealth platform. About 99 percent of our clients have trouble accessing it and it seems to require a lot of bandwidth.

CounSol is more affordable than Simple Practice. Having an account manager is very helpful! Whenever we have a question or need to upload a new file, we send it to him and he handles it within hours. I love the ability to customize forms, assessments and files. The organization within CounSol makes it easy to find files and forms. The client portal is also user-friendly and helps clients retrieve forms and documents easily.

Cons

I don't have many complaints. Also it's hard to think of any. However, one issue is the lack of formatting options for different forms. Another is that rearranging folders could be more straightforward instead of having to move them up or down one at a time.

I have been using CounSol since around 2012. I tried two or three other similar services when I briefly worked for a nonprofit. CounSol offers prompt thorough and friendly customer service the best I have experienced. I also really like the level of customization it provides.
