I appreciate the flexibility to personalize and utilize my own forms, which I can continue to develop as my practice expands. Furthermore, I value the individualized support that I receive. I had previously attempted to use another product, but found it cumbersome and impeding to my client interactions, leading me to cancel my subscription within two months. Although it was challenging to give another platform a chance, I am grateful that CounSol was recommended to me by a peer.
Cons
I would appreciate it if the design were more visually pleasing. However, I do like the feature that allows me to customize how my clients view it. It would be helpful to have an internal note section for each client instead of for each session. It becomes difficult to keep track of the themes/homework previously provided, and I often resort to using paper instead.

Pros
As a mid-sized, downtown WA state, therapy center working with the civil administration and local prisons, our patient/client turnover has always been excessive, and even with some top-of-the-line EMR aids, we struggled to provide adequately-timed care to our patients. CounSol has been a lifesaver for us, ever since we signed up for the enterprise-level subscription, however. The interface is simple to understand and use, and centralizes pretty much everything (billing, patient records, compliance checks, and communications) within roughly three page tabs.
Cons
The developer should consider adding options for direct cryptocurrency payments – many patients have requested.

I appreciate the ability to customize and use my own forms which allows for flexibility as my practice grows. The personal support I receive is fantastic. I had a negative experience with another product in the past which hindered my work with clients and led to cancellation. However after a colleague recommended CounSol I'm glad I gave it another try.
Cons
While the design could be more visually appealing the ability to customize the client interface is appreciated. Having client-specific internal notes rather than session-specific would be more convenient. Accessing previous notes for themes/homework can be time-consuming leading to the use of paper instead.

Cons
The cloud-based streaming has significant problems with freezing video occurring in about half of the sessions. Switching to other platforms like FT or Zoom resolves the issue. Otherwise the program is highly appreciated.

I really appreciate that this EHR integrates my notation billing and telehealth seamlessly. The client portal and self-scheduling feature are fantastic and I plan on opening it up to all clients. Now that I'm familiar with the layout I also appreciate how easy it is to navigate through the menus.
Cons
It is not possible to create custom internal forms easily. For instance there is no pre-made Discharge form and creating one can be challenging. Generating specialized reports is also difficult as the reporting feature lacks intuitiveness. Not being able to mark appointments as no-shows is frustrating but workarounds have been found.

I love the balance between price and performance that CounSol offers. It surpasses the competition with features like having an account manager for prompt customer service and assistance. The integrated journal for clients and the platform's suitability for working with couples and families are invaluable for mental health practitioners.
Cons
The built-in Telehealth platform could be more robust similar to Zoom. Also new forms should pull data from previous versions such as treatment plan updates that should carry over diagnosis and goals for updating and signing. Instead a blank form is presented requiring re-typing or copy-pasting.

I'm amazed that more people aren't using this. Simple Practice and other alternatives are mentioned but I believe CounSol is the best. The ease of use and comprehensive features are remarkable. Scheduling myself managing flex time and adjusting calendar settings are particularly convenient. I can choose between video-only sessions or in-person meetings. I mostly use the video software and it's great for initial paperwork scheduling and some clients enjoy the journal option. Being able to write notes during sessions saves a lot of time. Even though I don't utilize all the features I appreciate that they are accessible as my practice grows.
Cons
In around 1 out of 30 instances the video quality can be slightly glitchy but it is not a major problem. During those times some clients have quickly switched to using Doxy me although it has not been a significant issue. It would be beneficial to have an actual app since accessing the website through a phone can be a bit clunky for some young adult clients.
