CounSol.com is exceptionally intuitive and user-friendly constantly evolving and improving. The outstanding customer support goes above and beyond accommodating practitioner requests and promptly addressing their needs. In my five years of use I have witnessed tremendous improvements and responsiveness from the team making it the most intuitive cost-effective and supportive platform available.
Cons
I have some reservations about the email function. It would be beneficial to have the ability to sort emails by date and sender and to create and manage folders similar to the functionality of Outlook. While improvements have been made in billing and reports addressing the email aspect is still necessary.

CounSol.com stands out from the two other programs I previously used due to its customized features for counselors. The flexibility and ease of contacting customer support make it the ideal choice. After nearly a year of use I have encountered no issues in learning and implementing processes. It is a fantastic platform that perfectly suits my needs.
Cons
The lack of flexibility in allowing multiple billing codes such as 90834 plus add-on code 90785 requires additional time for billing which is frequently needed for trauma work and children's play therapy. A change in this aspect would be appreciated.

CounSol stands out as the best overall system surpassing competitors in therapy notes client database billing calendar and practice analytics. The system's ease of use intuitive interface and exceptional support enhance its effectiveness. It continues to improve and evolve.
Cons
It would be highly beneficial to have a calendar view option that displays all counselors' schedules for the week showing open appointments in a single screen. Full Slate excels in this aspect. However this does not diminish my wholehearted recommendation of CounSol.

Once set up it is relatively straightforward to use with the added benefit of customization options. The platform's long-term pricing offers stability and there are excellent choices available in various areas such as multiple credit card processors. Clients also speak highly of the user-friendly functions and ease of use of the client portal.
Cons
The visual appearance may seem outdated which may not appeal to everyone although it ensures a stable appearance for long-term users. Some group features are slightly awkward to use. Additionally there are superior telehealth platforms available and the built-in solution does not support multiple clients in different locations so I use a different external platform.
