Pros
Switching dental offices had me concerned about having to learn a different system but it turned out to be very user friendly and quick to pick up.
Cons
Before this change, I worked with Eaglesoft and appreciated being able to click on a tooth and instantly see that tooth's full history which is something I miss.

Scheduling appointments and setting availability by day, time, room or office location worked well. It was fast to click into a day and time slot, enter the patient's name, add the reason for the visit like an emergency or root canal and estimate how much time was needed before the next patient or block.
Cons
Sending information to insurance companies was the frustrating part. When I used it as an Office Manager for a dentist and specialists, that process took a lot of training and often meant working across separate windows.

Booking appointments and adding new patients is very easy and quick.
Cons
Ledger is my biggest frustration. When entering claim payments, it allows any amount to be posted even adjustments and payments that go over the total charge which really should not happen. It also does not let you post a negative payment when an insurance company takes money back. There is no place to enter an effective date or cancellation date for insurance companies and you are limited to only two insurance plans. On top of that, admins have no way to delete items once the month has been closed.

Pros
Running a top-notch dental office feels much more manageable with this practice management software. It does an excellent job coordinating treatment plans and insurance details for every patient which makes the whole office run better.
Cons
Upfront cost can feel like a big investment at first but it's absolutely worth it.

Pros
It gives our office a lot of flexibility. There are tons of forms and different versions available so you can choose whatever fits your practice best. The G series really stands out to me and is the best option in my opinion. It runs fast, works efficiently and is very user friendly. Everyone seems to use it a little differently and that is part of what makes it so useful there really is no single right or wrong way to use it. I regularly recommend it whenever someone asks about switching to new dental software.
Cons
Certain updates require everyone to be completely out of the system before they can happen. That usually means either closing the office down for a bit or asking some employees to stay late after hours to finish updates or shut down certain parts of the system.

Pros
I've used it for both administrative work and clinical tasks and it handles both well. Charting is simple to work with and the treatment plan views can be customized in a way that helps patients understand things more clearly.
Cons
Tracking payment details can be tricky unless the person who entered the payment left a note. There are also a few problems when switching over from another dental software especially with converted payments. Payments made before the conversion show up as "converted payment" and while there is a way to see where those payments came from, it requires an extra step. On the plus side, customer support has been very helpful.
