“DIFFICULT TO USE”
Pros
One thing it has going for it is the price you can usually get a pretty good deal on the software. Beyond that though, it runs slowly and doesn't come close to being as good as Eaglesoft.
Cons
Using this program feels like dealing with eight separate applications packed into one. It's almost like if Google Chrome opened a brand-new browser every time you clicked on a different website. The scheduler is in one place, appointments are in another and the patient information area is its own separate program too. Because of that, it demands a lot of network traffic and fairly powerful computers just to keep everything running properly. In the end, it just doesn't feel worth it especially when Eaglesoft does a better job in one clean, all-in-one window.

“beginner-friendly charting workflow”
Pros
Moving into different offices has been pretty easy which is a big plus when you're filling in temporarily. It's very beginner-friendly and moving from the appointment book right into the chart is smooth. The icons are clear and easy to spot and the charting process is very simple. Compared with some other software programs, this one feels much more manageable.
Cons
X-ray screen has a recurring issue that, when the sensor isn't plugged in first, the X-ray window won't open and I end up having to restart the program. As long as you keep that in mind while using the software, it's manageable.

“consistent backups shine”
Pros
Getting everything set up and managed is pretty simple. If the system crashes, having backups means it can usually be restored within a day, no matter what hardware you're working with.
Cons
From time to time, client PCs randomly lose their DB connection and every now and then the Access database files get corrupted. Thankfully, it includes a utility that usually repairs those problems without much trouble.

“best tools for dental offices”
Pros
There are a lot of useful features built in, from Rx transcripts to standard dental charting. It also includes insurance details which makes it convenient to track coverage and check the patient's remaining benefits. On top of that, the dental charting is effortless to use and can be customized to fit the way your office works.
Cons
With so many components in one tool, browsing is not very simple. There are a lot of different windows and that can make patient charting harder to move through or make it take longer to find what I need.

“Time saver for us”
Pros
Right from the start, this product has been very user friendly. It offers a lot of helpful time-saving features and the customer service has been excellent. I also have to mention again how user friendly it is.
Cons
The biggest downside to me is the price because this software feels pretty expensive. I really think the cost could be lowered some. If it were more affordable, this would be the best dental software out there.

“SIMPLE setup”
Pros
Getting started with this program was pretty easy. I actually taught myself how to use it at my first dental job and the tutorials made a big difference. They were really helpful and gave me the confidence to learn the system which ended up helping me grow in my office career.
Cons
Constantly jumping between so many different screens gets frustrating.

“convenient to use”
Pros
Getting started with it was quick and learning how everything works didn't take much effort. It's very convenient to use and it comes with a lot of really useful features. That's pretty much all I have to say for today.
Cons
Not being able to access everything like Lab Case Manager from the ledger from every screen is a regular frustration. It's also hard to reverse mistakes, such as trying to unarchive something in Lab Case Manager.

“works well”
Pros
Entering existing restorations and planned treatment for each tooth into the chart is very smooth and works well.
Cons
The green chair icon treatment planner seems more complicated than it should be. Charting existing caries and other tooth conditions also takes a lot of time.

“postive experience”
Pros
It's flexible and simple to use and it fits well across every area of dentistry. It really helps make my day-to-day work in the profession more manageable.
Cons
Since not that many people are using it yet, there's still room for further development and improvements.

“well trained customer support”
Pros
Comes with a wide range of features that can really help our business, for example from custom reporting to convenient scheduling tools and a useful help center, it got everything. The customer service team is consistently friendly and supportive. Even when they do not completely resolve every issue, they are always courteous and willing to assist.
Cons
With so many features available, we probably only use a small portion of what the system can actually do. We have never received proper training and the classes cost a lot considering they mostly cover just the basics. I would really like to learn more but there is not much in-depth training offered. On top of that, when problems come up, it often feels like only part of the issue gets addressed and I end up having to call multiple times before everything is fully resolved.

“Not for daily users”
Pros
Built with the front office in mind, this software is capable for a tech-savvy. It offers a wide range of reports, has plenty of customization options and lets you enter time directly on procedure codes.
Cons
This really is not a system for the average user even with training. Whoever uses it needs to be very computer savvy and extremely detail-oriented. It is heavily geared toward the front office and the treatment planner presentation falls short. The eServices bundle includes features that are unnecessary or never used and the continuing care data is not reliable. Even though it is customizable, there are character limits for labels on definitions like Appointment Status which is restrictive. There are also too many data fields hidden away or hard to locate, leading to incomplete or inaccurate entry because the screens feel crowded and confusing. The unscheduled treatment plan report does not indicate when patients are already booked for items on their treatment list. Creating a referral template is not easy unless the user also knows MS Word at an advanced level. Clinical template setup is difficult, the lab manager feels complex and eServices insurance verification is also complex and glitchy. We could not pull a list of specific procedures tied to patient names, such as patients with premolar and molar endo on their treatment plan and even with a pro user of this tool on our team, we had to rely on mail merge. Also, customizing appointment length by procedure code feels pointless because the software does not correctly calculate clinician and assistant time when multiple procedures are entered.

“Packed with features”
Pros
Getting around it is very accessible and it can do far more for a practice than many people realize. Their training and resource center is absolutely worth using. Once you learn this software, moving to another dental management system feels much simpler. It also gives us the ability to run a completely paperless office without much trouble.
Cons
I do not have any major complaints. If I had to mention something, it would be that updates tend to come with a few minor glitches but it usually resolves them very quickly.

“well-organized”
Pros
It has been very user friendly and it gives our practice a lot of different tools and options to stay well organized.
Cons
Even though I enjoy using it, there are a few spots where items can get duplicated pretty easily which can make staying organized a bit difficult at times. It also wasn't compatible with our Kodak x-ray software.

“quick to learn and navigate”
Pros
Getting started with it didn't take much time at all and the layout feels very organized which makes it practical for the organization and for day-to-day use.
Cons
My biggest frustration is that it crashes pretty often. I'm still not sure whether that's caused by our company's setup or if it's an issue with the software itself.

“Nothing good”
Pros
No advantages stood out to me.
Cons
Right after we bought the software, we were pushed to complete training within a specific deadline because they kept warning me about training and conversion expiring. We went ahead and scheduled because of that pressure. Soon after, my mother became ill with a brain tumor and when I asked about returning the software, they refused. Instead, they said I would have to pay a fee to return it and that it would be better to just keep it until we were ready to implement. This all started in early September 2016. My mother passed away on March 6, 2017. At the same time, my father was also very sick with pancreatic cancer and he died on the first day of training, August 16, 2017. I was completely devastated and the company showed no compassion at all. They would not train me unless I paid a very large fee. I'm the dentist and I still can't use the software I purchased. They would not even consider lowering the training cost after my father's funeral. Honestly it's hard to imagine a worse experience than that. On top of everything else, the departments seemed disconnected and the whole process was incredibly frustrating. I would never recommend it. I fully intend to tell my dental colleagues and anyone else who asks, about how terrible their customer service was.

“daily dental software”
Pros
Using this program every day has been really easy. It's user-friendly, I rarely run into issues and when something does come up, the tech team responds quickly. The conferences are also very helpful for getting the training you need and learning the system better.
Cons
Every now and then, the program slows down a bit but restarting our system usually takes care of it. I did have a few other concerns at one point though after spending a weekend at their conference, most of those questions and problem areas were resolved.

“Fun to use”
Pros
It runs very easily and feels really user friendly. I'm very happy with the product because it delivers exactly what it promises and works the way it says it will. It's enjoyable to use and also simple to teach to other people.
Cons
I'd still like to see more training around the newer features especially ICD-10 medical and dental cross-coding. More guidance on entering and understanding the codes would be helpful too, such as diagnosis, treatment and the modifications needed to bill medical with dental.

“tool review”
Pros
Right from the start, the software has been very user-friendly. It works well as an all-in-one package and gives us access to a wide range of different applications.
Cons
E-services seem to have technical problems fairly often. Recently, the notifications showing who received email and text message reminders were unavailable and it also was not working properly with our website company when trying to publish a review.
