The questionnaires do a decent job even if they are not outstanding. I also appreciate that the document center can take scanned items and having support for multiple user programs is definitely helpful.
Cons
Making changes within a reasonable time frame can be difficult. The programming features feel outdated and there are also too many add-on modules to deal with.

Getting around the software is very easy and the layout is put together really well. It's also simple to explain to other people so training someone new on how to use it doesn't take much effort.
Cons
A downside is that I can't generate some of the specific reports I need. There are also times when we have to pull multiple reports just to find the information we're looking for.

Pros
Getting around the chart, patient notes and ledger feels very user friendly. I also really appreciate that there are multiple ways to reach the same section which makes it more comfortable for different users to work in the way that suits them best.
Cons
I wish it allowed using dates while writing notes, like in the ledger or treatment plan. I really prefer having that date format available.

Pros
One thing that really helps day to day is the automated note templates since they make charting notes much faster. The perio chart is also very comprehensive and includes a lot of detail which is a big plus.
Cons
The continuing care module is where I run into trouble. When I check whether someone is due for a D180 perio chart, it does not automatically apply the time frame I set up to the date I entered. Instead, it only calculates from today's date.

Getting the whole staff up and running with it didn't take much effort. It has been really useful for monitoring production and keeping track of patient information, such as missed appointments and similar details.
Cons
The reports aren't customizable and printing is a bit inconvenient since you have to go into batch processing. It would be much better if reports could be printed right after they're set up.

Right away, the biggest benefit has been how simple it is for front-end staff to use. Payments and adjustments post directly to the ledger so the balance is visible at a glance without any extra effort.
Cons
Reporting still needs work. Exporting to Excel comes out messy and the reports could be a lot more customizable. The account manager also seems to be missing a connection to the full capabilities of the software.

There's a lot packed into it especially the wide range of features and reports available. I also really appreciate how well it integrates with other software which makes it much more useful overall.
Cons
Too much screen switching is required just to complete a single process. It would be much nicer to have one screen where I can view everything about the patient.

Having less paper to deal with has been a huge plus and the document center is the feature I use most because it's simple to keep everything organized there. With so many options available though, it can still feel a bit overwhelming trying to figure out which features are the best fit for both my needs and my office.

A lot of really valuable features have been added and they've been incredibly useful. It's especially helpful that the whole staff can access journals, clinical notes and similar records which helps make sure patients receive the best possible care.
Cons
There have been way too many glitches. Since the upgrade on April 1st, I was spending around 5 hours a day with tech support trying to sort out a long list of problems. After moving to the highest G6 version on June 28, things improved and there have been fewer issues but I'm still spending a couple of hours a day with techs a few times each week.

One of the best parts of using it has been the fantastic support team. The system is simple to use, training staff on it doesn't take much effort and reporting works efficiently. Tooth charting and treatment planning are simple and billing for insurance along with fee schedules works really well. It also gives us a lot of flexibility to set things up the way we want.
Cons
I do wish it offered more customization. There are certain things I'd like the software to do but its current design puts limits on that.

The updates made to the system are clearly well thought out. They work well and fit into our day-to-day routine without much effort which makes them practical to use.
Cons
E-services feature is unreliable more often than it should be. Sometimes it stops working or a change is made and then it no longer functions properly and getting it fixed usually means spending a lot of time on the phone.
