clean layout and simple workflow

Pros

Overall layout makes it pleasant to work in and the software has a very user-friendly setup.

Cons

It would be even better if there were a dedicated section for patient medications so they could be accessed more quickly.

Pros

Features I need are kept in one place which makes managing information really convenient for me.

Cons

An issue is that if the system goes down, you're basically unable to do anything.

clean interface with lots to offer

Pros

There's quite a bit packed into it and the interface is pleasant to look at.

Cons

Getting familiar with all the buttons and how the software works does take some time.

office management tool

Pros

Having one central management system that covers nearly everything we need in the office has been really helpful. It keeps so much of our daily work in one place instead of bouncing between different tools.

Cons

Statements and ledgers can be pretty confusing for our patients so I often end up creating spreadsheets just to make things clearer for them. I'm also unhappy that once the month has been closed, there's no way to change who a payment was applied to. Mistakes happen and after closing, fixing patient balances takes a lot of extra adjustments that only make things more confusing for patients.

Reports and analytics powerhouse

Pros

Lets us focus on what matters most in a dental office: the patient. It also software saves us a ton of time and Helps us keep up with the latest technology and when I mention it to people who don't use it, they're usually pretty envious. The reporting and analytics are especially valuable.

Cons

Monthly cost is on the high side but you do get a lot for what you pay for.

task management done right

Pros

Navigating the system is very accessible and it does a really good job with running and using reports. Pulling together the information I need is simple and efficient which makes day-to-day work much easier.

Cons

Some tasks do take quite a few steps to complete although the system does guide you through the process well. I'd also really like the clinical notes feature to include options for highlighting or changing text color so important details from past appointments stand out more and specific concerns are easier to spot quickly.

consolidated system

Pros

From patient services and communication to billing, appointment scheduling, treatment planning, patient reviews and even training, the program covers just about every part of running the practice in one comprehensive system.

Cons

Regular upgrades do require time to learn and put into place but that comes with the territory when a platform is continually improving.

Pros

It's very user-friendly and getting employees trained on it doesn't take much effort at all.

Cons

When I run into a larger or more complicated issue, it can be tough to get connected to the right person in customer support for the help I need.

helpful updates

Pros

The platform is incredibly powerful and the more information you put into it, the more value you get back. I also really appreciate the frequent updates and the way user suggestions from across the country are taken into account because it helps keep the software improving for the people who actually use it.

Cons

Search button in the treatment chart is missing, currently but it should be added because being able to look up a code by keyword would be very helpful.

Smooth integrations

Pros

Moving around the software is not difficult at all and it works well with several of the other tools we rely on, including Demandforce. The integrations with other companies we use have been especially useful.

Cons

Inconsistency in the reports needs improvement. The same report can show up differently depending on where it's run and that really should be corrected.

Pros

Learning the system was quick and I picked it up without any trouble. The hot button pictures are especially helpful for getting to things fast.

Cons

It still needs more shortcuts and quicker ways to pull up charts, X-rays and medical history.

Pros

Moving between features is fast and efficient which makes the software convenient to use day to day.

Detailed reporting and claim tools

Pros

Reporting features have been really useful especially the hygiene reports, accounts receivable reports and the option to attach documents to claims.

Cons

Treatment plan bothers me since the amount shown there is not always accurate.

plenty of options

Pros

There are a lot of options available and it's been a really excellent software for us. It's actually the only one I've used and I've had a very positive experience with it.

Cons

Very little stands out as a dislike. If anything, our team could benefit from more training especially whenever new updates are rolled out.

online paperwork saves time

Pros

Having online paperwork built into the software really helps reduce the amount of time spent on office phone calls. Another big plus is that patients can view their full treatment plan all at once which makes everything much clearer for them.

Cons

Email marketing side still needs work. Their current system doesn't support photos or HTML and there's also no option for patients to unsubscribe from emails which ends up being a frequent complaint.

Supports the practice well

Pros

Once you learn your way around this tool, it turns into really useful software that supports the practice in a lot of different ways.

Cons

Having to open and close several windows, just to track down information frustrated me especially when there are multiple ways to get to the same thing. It would work much better with a single, consistent navigation path so staff are not being trained to complete the same task in different ways.

Whenever support is needed, getting help does not seem like a struggle. Reaching a representative by phone or chat is simple and readily accessible.
