Doctor Connect works

Pros

Doctor Connect integrates reliably with Netsmart. The feature allowing client outreach via SMS is particularly useful for rescheduling appointments, freeing up valuable administrative assistant time in clinics.

Cons

Manual entry is required for no-shows in Doctor Connect. The addition and removal of clinicians must be done manually as well. There is no option to run a report to track which clinicians are receiving sent appointments.

Rozell made customer service and implementation hassle-free and was consistently available for assistance.

Cons

I did like to have a more user-friendly and robust texting feature. Also it would be beneficial if texts could be directed to a practice phone number rather than a generic one unfamiliar to us. Additionally, having the option to send time-sensitive emails to patients would be valuable. The import process isn't seamless when sending recalls; although we've found workarounds, a smoother importing method for texting would be preferred. I'd rather not have recipients click on a link to confirm text appointments.

Cons

Despite assurances from the Sales Rep that it would integrate with my existing EHR, the software did not integrate. I have had the software for three days but have not used it. The Sales Rep is unwilling to issue a refund, citing a locked-in one-year contract.

Useful features and intuitive design

Pros

The feature we find most valuable is the capability to send forms to patients. This feature proved crucial during COVID and remains integral to our operations. Depending on your EHR system, the forms are automatically uploaded to the patient's chart.

Cons

The pricing is somewhat high for the product, however, the intuitive design and EHR integration make it worthwhile. But if it does not integrate with your EHR, the price may not be justified.

Pros

The ability to text patients back and forth is a standout feature since not everyone answers phone calls promptly. We have observed that patients respond quicker via text. The Calendar provides a comprehensive view of appointments on a single screen and the Dashboard offers valuable information at a glance.

Cons

Although we do not use all the features Doctor Connect offers, I would prefer our users to receive email notifications when a patient responds via text, rather than having to repeatedly check the dashboard.

This software excels in appointment reminders and allows for free text exchanges with patients, a crucial feature during the COVID-19 pandemic. The option for patients to check in via text from the parking lot was particularly beneficial. Many other software programs we considered lacked this capability. The customer support has always been prompt.

Cons

DoctorConnect, great product, terrific staff, and swift customer support!

Pros

DoctorConnect has been a game-changer for our administrative support team, saving us a lot of time. The automated reminders seamlessly integrate with our EMR/EHR, thanks to the exceptional IT team that assisted in the setup. By communicating with clients through their preferred channels (text, call, email), we save time and money, reducing no-shows and cancellations. Engaging with clients who haven't confirmed appointments beforehand via a quick text has helped us prevent many missed appointments. Customizable templates tailored to our admin and client needs have streamlined our communications with minimal training, enhancing client interactions effectively.

Cons

There is not much we find fault with in DoctorConnect. One minor issue is with their "Waitlist" feature, which is still in beta. Despite being tech-savvy, I have struggled to use it effectively without adding extra work or requiring extended training for my team. However, after providing feedback to their team of developers and my account manager, they have welcomed and incorporated the suggestions. I anticipate this feature will become one of their pivotal offerings, enhancing its success. Once perfected, this automation will significantly save time and money for our practice.

Support is outstanding!

Pros

With the help of this software it is so easy to send out appointment reminders. The support team of DoctorConnect is outstanding. They are always there to help us and are extremely friendly. The support team helped us customize our Survey emails. We haven’t seen any technical glitches since we started using DoctorConnect back in the early 2016.

Cons

There are a few predictable problems on the one-way interface, but it is not a major issue to worry about.
