Pros
Initially the sales team was responsive and helpful quickly arranging a demo. The software seemed capable of almost anything. However in hindsight it seems there was more emphasis on sales than on whether the software truly met our needs even with a discounted service.
Cons
Its confusing and complex with an implementation team that lacks proficiency. Customer service is unresponsive after signing a contract making it one of the worst experiences since 1999.

Pros
Its online nature as an EMR especially when using the Apollo plan makes billing outsourcing easy.
Cons
Poor organization requires navigating through menus to access basic information for every patient encounter. Screens arent customizable and value-added features like text messaging and online scheduling require additional fees.

Pros
I appreciate the accessibility of this software. Our office uses DrChrono via desktop iPad and cellular devices for check-ins accessing notes etc.
Cons
I dont have any complaints but offering confirmations via text would be convenient for both patients and providers.

The patient reminder system and appointment scheduling features are excellent.
Cons
Before joining many promises were made and I was excited. However reaching technical support for immediate or delayed issues was challenging. We faced difficulties with Medicare billing and despite efforts the issue remains unresolved. The monthly contract price increased substantially yet the service didnt improve. Im disappointed and wont renew the contract.

“all-in-one platform with many features
Pros
In my opinion this is an impressively powerful, all-in-one platform with so many features that genuinely organize and improve my day-to-day work. It handles everything from patient record management, schedule and appointment organization, to billing and one thing I really appreciate is the patient portal. I love that it lets patients do exercises at home or access educational materials, while also giving us physiotherapists a way to track their progress. There's also a huge selection of templates that I can tailor to my needs so the system can function as an EHR across different medical specialties. All of this makes it an extremely practical tool that plays a key role in handling patient care, administrative tasks and coordinating treatment plans for recovery. I also value the ability to monitor cases remotely and follow clinical evolutions from a distance. Since it's cloud-based and offers a mobile app, it's convenient for on-the-go use and the pricing is reasonable which makes it even more attractive for our practice.
Cons
Actually I do find that the breadth of features means there's a noticeable learning curve even though the interface is fairly basic, it can feel overwhelming if you're not experienced. When we first set it up in our clinic it took us a while to become comfortable with everything but after we learned the ropes it worked really well. One limitation I'd like addressed is more control over customizing the interface and templates for example, it would be great to display my workplace's logo within the system. I also hope future versions add tools for running digital marketing campaigns and linking hospital accounts with my professional social media profiles so I can centralize all of my practice-related activity in one versatile platform. Finally, the mobile app feels a bit limited because it's only available on iOS which means you need an iPhone or iPad to use it that's restrictive for teams with Android devices.

“Platform has grown with our clinic
Pros
As a practice we've been on Dr Chrono for a while. The platform has grown alongside our clinic really well. I am impressed by the control it gives us, its wide range of features, the ability to build templates and notes exactly how you want them and how user-friendly the interface is particularly on the iPad!.
Cons
I have just one real issue with Dr Chrono because it's cloud-hosted it can suffer occasional outages. The support team does a solid job notifying our providers and staff when downtime happens and they work quickly to resolve problems and restore service.

This software has revolutionized the way practices transition from paper to digital. While some aspects are more customizable than others once you have your software set up and integrated into your workflow note writing becomes incredibly easy.
Cons
Some messaging and automation cant be customized requiring adaptation when using the system. You rely on connections to other services to accomplish tasks.

Pros
One thing I really appreciate about this platform is the broad scope and remarkable flexibility it offers. I can manage the calendar, records, clinical notes, images, handle patient billing and even do patient outreach and messaging. For me its flexibility is a major strength and truly useful.
Cons
When I first saw it, it felt incredibly customizable but that initial impression was misleading. In reality I found the interface to be quite restrictive and it interferes with the note-taking flow making entries feel awkward and inefficient.

The note writing function and the ability to create custom forms are exceptional. However during demonstrations they focus solely on these aspects and overlook other essential tasks like ordering labs and medications which are cumbersome on the iPad app.
Cons
Apart from note writing everything else was problematic. If the demo had shown the day-to-day tasks I might not have chosen this software. Despite claims of saving time tasks like ordering labs medications billing and messaging take too long.

Being entirely cloud-based and compatible with the iPad is a significant advantage.
Cons
After ten years with DrChrono certain functions should work flawlessly. However filing claims is a nightmare and issues persist despite six months of seeking resolution. There are numerous other problems making it frustrating to use.

Pros
I find it very convenient to upload and draw on my own sheets and papers when creating chart notes and documents using this software.
Cons
Transferring daily SOAP notes and reporting from uploaded documents requires extra steps. Though affordable it lacks intuitive features for our field.
