incredibly user-friendly with great flexibility

Pros

We have found DrChrono incredibly user-friendly as its usability, flexibility, customization options and sheer power have made a real difference for our practice. Plus it helped us organize workflows, gives quick and easy access to patient records and feels feature-rich with constant updates and refinements. And they provide hands-on training so we can get the most out of the platform.

Cons

Because it's a cloud-based system I do experience occasional connectivity hiccups. Scheduled server upgrades or unexpected downtime pop up from time to time which can interrupt workflow and be frustrating.

Dr Chrono - a very flexible EMR

Pros

The flexibility of the form builder to create tailored forms for my office is commendable. The forms are easy to modify independently or with support assistance.

Cons

Some form aspects only work on iPad not on Surface Pro.

easy to use with a simple setup

Pros

I found the EHR really easy to use with a fairly simple setup that made navigating the tabs and managing tasks easy enough.

Cons

Whenever it crashed I found it really hard to recover the work I'd already begun. Also having to juggle PIN numbers and log in repeatedly every single time became quite annoying.

Great Product

Pros

I appreciate the addition of several financial reports that allow for in-depth analysis of my practices billing performance.

Cons

I want to cancel since this MON 11st and nobody responses!!!

Pros

They promise a lot during demonstrations but the softwares functionality falls short. Their colorful presentation and promises of comprehensive features often lead to disappointment.

Cons

The software doesnt function as demonstrated and theres no response to cancellation requests.

implementation help lacking

Pros

The initial setup was pretty simple like mostly entering our practice specifics. The workflow is quite basic too and makes sense even if you are not an EHR specialist.

Cons

When I reached out for implementation help support fell short. It's hard to get hold of the specialist assigned to us and when they do respond they often don't have the answers and fail to follow up promptly.

User friendly and quick to pick up

Pros

For me the system was really user friendly and quick to pick up. Booking and managing client appointments is easy too and I rely on the real-time claims feed to remind me what tasks need attention so nothing slips through.

Cons

I do find the pricing on the higher side which can be a drawback for smaller practices beyond the cost issue, I honestly don't have any other complaints about how it works.

I’ve been happy for years now.

Pros

drchrono EHR is amazing, it has everything that youll need. It allows you customize as well. It is easy to use. I also get 100 free text appointment reminders/ month with the package that Ive bought. It is also very easy to change form, they also have online chat system. It is also easily accessible from anywhere and any device with the help of a wifi.

Cons

The only thing that they need to work on and fix is the text reminders, usually when you schedule it at a certain time, they arent received at that time as well. Most of the times my early morning patients receive their reminder when they walk in. They have allocated a certain time of the day in which the text reminders go out, that is the reason for all this, but I do hope they do something about it.

Pros

The softwares customization options user-friendliness online help chats easy form modification and accessibility via phone or computer with Wi-Fi are its key strengths.

Cons

Its expensive compared to competitors lacks streamlining and requires excessive clicking for routine tasks. Direct customer support is unavailable.

I have been happy for years now.

Pros

Once templates are personalized to fit your needs this software becomes incredibly user-friendly. Additionally the inclusion of 100 free text reminders for appointments per month is a bonus.

Cons

Text reminders dont always send as scheduled causing inconvenience.

Worst decision ever

Pros

Unfortunately this product is accompanied by poor service and untrustworthy sales representatives. Their promises rarely match the reality of the softwares capabilities.

Pros

The billing software is straightforward to use and has significantly simplified our in-house billing process. Once macros and templates are set up they are incredibly user-friendly especially on the iPad.

Cons

There are occasional slow periods and customer support is only available via email.

endless customizable scheduling options

Pros

I find DrChrono offers what feels like endless ways to customize how I schedule patients and because it connects with DrChrono and other websites, my patients can often book appointments themselves with much less effort.

Cons

At times I am frustrated because the platform can be sluggish and it often takes a noticeable amount of time to switch between pages or pull up a patient's info.

Setting up took a while

Pros

The EMR is okay, there isn’t any one feature that I could point and say WOW, so yeah overall, it’s okay. You can create your own charts, and customizable templates, which helps you have it according to your field of practice.

Cons

We have faced a language barrier whenever we communicate with the customer support team, and it takes really long for them to respond to our tickets. They need to have a call facility, so that we could directly call them. We also requested them for new features and they responded with a prompt NO.

Was better once

Pros

I dont completely like this product, but i would mention the good things of it. The scheduling and charting works better, plus it is easy to export and send all notes for a patient. The credit card system of this EHR is pretty easy to use, other than these, I cant find anything good recently.

Cons

It used to be great once, but since they have started to update a lot, you would find a lot glitches in it. They tell you that theyve fixed it after a call or so, but in reality nothing is fixed, as the system still misbehaves. When their tech team was in US, everything worked fine, but since theyve moved to India, they arent helpful anymore, which is really bad as they have lost their repute.

Unfortunately the implementation of this software was subpar leading us to opt out of investing in additional features to improve its functionality.
