“Took a long tome to get setup and functional
Pros
Although no single feature stands out the EHR functionality is commendable. Weve customized our own charts to accommodate the various specialists in our practice.
Cons
Customer support is ineffective with slow responses and language barriers.

“Yet it’s the best
Pros
The EMR is wonderful, it is easy to learn and use. You really don’t need to be a tech savvy to know how to use it. The ease for me would have to be the best thing about this product. It saves time, as it directly connects through the internet. Billing claims is a plus in this EMR. In short, it is an excellent product to use.
Cons
There are times when you can’t get help from their team and they just tell you directly that they wouldn’t be able to help you, and that it is not their issue. So, I think that is where they need to improve realizing that it is indeed their problem if we face problems otherwise they’ll be losing customers. The system can’t even merge duplicate accounts.

“Excellent EMR
Pros
The simplicity of operation stands out as a major advantage. You dont need extensive computer knowledge to navigate the system. Billing with Dr. Chrono is particularly convenient as it allows direct connection via the internet saving time.
Cons
I find it frustrating that I cant merge duplicate accounts easily. It seems some staff struggle to avoid creating duplicate charts. Obtaining help can be challenging once I called about an issue and was told it wasnt their problem. However when it comes to extracting my claims from their system suddenly it becomes their problem.

“Great clinical software and customer service!!!
Pros
DrChrono has enabled me to see more patients at my clinic and reclaim some of my free time.
Cons
I wish the scheduling software offered more features similar to Genbook scheduling software. Additionally I find the onpatient portal somewhat less user-friendly. Some patients encounter difficulties setting it up and making payments online. Moreover when patients call about an invoice they often dont speak with someone whos very knowledgeable and there seems to be a language barrier.

“Great EHR
Pros
Even for someone like me who isnt very tech-savvy its incredibly user-friendly. Almost every feature is intuitive and easy to learn independently.
Cons
Its inconvenient that I have to save the name of new patients before navigating to another screen to get their phone and email. If I forget to save it (and it takes me back to the appointment screen when I do) it ends up being more time-consuming because I have to start over after gathering the information from the other page.

“This product msde a difference
Pros
Using macros is a game-changer for streamlining data entry. I appreciate being able to access them across different devices. The physicians I assist emphasize the importance of focusing on the patient rather than the EHR during appointments.
Cons
I found custom forms to be quite pricey. Additionally relying too heavily on Apple platforms can be limiting.

“Clunky to use
Pros
I struggled with this products usability. The lack of customization prevented me from setting up a format that suited my preferences.
Cons
I felt that the customer support was overly assertive and always trying to sell me upgrades that I didnt necessarily need.

“Single integrated turn-key platform
Pros
One thing I really like is that it functions as a single, integrated platform. as everything from SOAP notes and charts to client records and appointment scheduling making it a true turn-key software solution.
Cons
My main issue is that the trial shouldn't keep running indefinitely. I believe it ought to automatically expire after a preset number of days, weeks, or months. Right now the trial is more trouble than it's worth because it wipes some of my data when I log out and locks many features behind paywalls. I'd prefer a clear 90 day trial so I can either upgrade to the full version or move on. As it stands, the trial can be accessed forever which helps customers but feels detrimental to the company's business model.

“DrChrono!
Pros
This is a wonderful product. You can get everything done on this product. It is easy to use, and to navigate between screens, and windows. Moving from one task to another is easy and without any interruptions. The customer support is great as well, they’ll always help you. It has an amazing feature known as the “practice chat” which lets you message the doctor while he is busy with another patient and you have an urgent question. The insurance eligibility feature is great as well. This is a go go product. I definitely would recommend each and every one to use drchrono.
Cons
I would want them to have more detailed information in the scheduling area, although I do manage things the way I want it to be, but it would be great if they add this feature as well.

“too many tab clicks and slow
Pros
I find the data entry fairly easy and it automatically brings forward my previous notes.
Cons
My experience is that there are too many tab clicks I prefer being able to free-write so I don't have to click constantly during a patient visit. I like things simpler. It can be sluggish to load at times. I find the web version works more smoothly for scheduling since I can just click a patient to chart, whereas the app feels more complicated.

“Far cheaper than any alternative
Pros
Actually I have found this platform to be far cheaper than any alternatives I have tried and it's consistently dependable customer support has been excellent plus the menus are easy to use and medication interaction warnings show up on the screen.
Cons
It's a small issue but I cannot change how prescriptions print like I have no option to adjust layout or font size and the software won't let me combine different prescriptions onto a single sheet. For ADHD meds I need to produce three separate prescriptions and when I try to cram them onto one page the pharmacist rings me to say the printout is illegible.

“Lacks primary care features
Pros
It is an absolutely gorgeous EMR and it pairs wonderfully with Apple devices. One feature I particularly enjoy is the patient check-in as I just hand the tablet to patients when they arrive. It also integrates smoothly with Square for payments, is visually pleasing and once the modules are built, it's simple to use and quick to pick up after setup.
Cons
Setting it up feels like you need an IT degree as building the modules is on you. Nothing is preloaded and I have spent hours and hours, even weeks, tinkering with module setup. The final note often looks oddly disjointed. Billing via TriZetto was a nightmare for me. It's frustrating because I can see this product having top-tier potential but reaching anyone higher up is difficult which, sadly, has become the 'new normal' with EMRs. Also, it lacks a fair amount of primary care functionality I need now.

“powerful ehr best on apple devices
Pros
I have found it to be a powerful EHR overall it performs best on Apple devices so it's particularly well-suited for iPad use with a clean efficient layout and organization.
Cons
My only complaint is that its dependence on Apple hardware could be off-putting for some customers.

“Review in facial plastic surgery
Pros
User-friendly. Templates available for notes. It can be used on any Apple platforms. The revenue cycle management is great for small practices and as well as for small plastic surgery practices like mine. Every member in our staff, found it to be really easy and user-friendly to use, which is great for me, that we didn’t really waste much time getting used to it. Entering patient information and scheduling appointments is easy too for anyone to do it.
Cons
Their customer support needs to improve and should also add a phone support facility so that we could directly call them, sending emails and not getting prompt responses does not make you happy. They should also keep you in the loop while getting things fixed, as you never get to know if it is fixed yet or not.
