“simple and truly free for students
Pros
Getting around the system was really easy and it is extremely user-friendly. I felt comfortable using it right away without much of a learning curve. I also liked that I could use the program at no cost while I was still a student. That free access saved me a meaningful amount of money.
Cons
I couldn't find any real faults with the system. With my medical background I have worked with a number of different platforms and this one stands out as a solid, practical option for daily use. It's user friendly enough that you don't need to be an expert to operate it so I never felt the need to keep a manual handy all the time.

“everything available with one click
Pros
What I really like is that everything I need is available with a single click. I can pull up patient and physician documents quickly. I routinely navigate this system with great ease!
Cons
honestly I don't have any real complaints the system occasionally shows tiny bugs where data can appear twice, yet a simple page refresh always seems to fix the issue right away.

I find the software really easy to use and the demo was excellent. Using it on my iPad is a real plus for people who prefer tablets and I appreciate the patient portal and smooth check-in process.
Cons
For me the interface feels cluttered with too many colors and tabs open which makes it overwhelming and I noticed several useful features aren't included by default and require extra purchases.

“Very user-friendly and simplest billing
Pros
It is a very user-friendly, all in one platform. It is honestly the simplest billing setup I have ever used. Plus it works flawlessly across my Apple devices. On my PC, it also performs well when I use Google Chrome. The workflow feels natural. Taking clinical photos on my iPhone or iPad is easy too. The form and template builders are basic enough that I do not need advanced computer skills to tweak every setting I could want.
Cons
My only problem is there isn't a direct phone number for support as I have to begin every troubleshooting request by email. even so, the support tickets I submit tend to be handled quickly.

I find this app makes scheduling multiple patients very easy and it lets me include all the patient details my practice requires. It is also user friendly and highly configurable. The program also includes an extensive library of adjustable medical templates which I rely on to speed up writing clinical SOAP notes and boost efficiency.
Cons
Although it's not the most budget-friendly choice, I feel it justifies its cost because it delivers a remarkable range of configurable features that are genuinely useful in my practice.

“Complete and user friendly solution
Pros
For me it is a complete solution organized in a really user friendly manner and in a easy to navigate format. I was initially reluctant to move away from our old system but fairly quickly it became apparent that I should have made the change ages ago.
Cons
I occasionally run into slow performance or difficulty logging in which I believe is more a Wi-Fi problem than the platform itself. Our technical support team is already working on upgrading our wireless infrastructure to resolve these access issues.

Pros
For my clinic it makes notes easy to customize for our needs. I find billing simple and uncomplicated too. Plus notes are saved in real time so I never lose information and I can quickly pull up past notes and patient details.
Cons
As a physical therapist, I find this product poorly suited to my needs. It won't build a patient plan of care it doesn't carry over goals, diagnosis, or the care plan into each note for the current case. The system also fails to alert me about charges, re-evaluations, or progress notes.

“Highly customizable with simple e-prescribing
Pros
Overall I have found the platform highly customizable with simple e-prescribing and handy templates. Also navigating it on both a desktop and an iPad is effortless and managing patient files, documentation and internal faxing works reliably.
Cons
I do wish the software included a few more CRM features. Since we operate as a cash-based practice, I don't need that billing side but I do need better ways to log and monitor patient lab results and the supplements they take.

What I really like is how easy it is to use. Plus I only needed to contact the company once because a document wouldn't download and their team was incredibly helpful.
Cons
Honestly I have no drawbacks to report about the software. The one time I needed support, DrChrono stepped in quickly and took care of the problem.

There are plenty of options for customizing things and I was able to add and tweak everything I needed for note-taking, intake questionnaires, follow-up forms and similar items.
Cons
I find the process has too many action steps to complete a note. To reach my personalized SOAP template I must navigate two preliminary steps, then finish the entry, close it and finally lock it manually. It would be much more convenient if the note automatically locked as soon as I closed it.

What I like most about this software is how approachable it is. And I find the interface user friendly and simple to use. Their tutorials are really helpful too though honestly I can usually find my way around the site without them. On top of that, it runs efficiently.
Cons
One frustrating thing is that reminder settings seem to revert to 'on' by themselves so the system occasionally starts sending appointment reminders to my patients without my explicit consent. Several patients prefer not to receive calls or emails and I worry about imposing unwanted notifications on them. It bothers me that after a period of time the default saved preference flips to 'on' and reminders are automatically dispatched.

I really like how easy it is to access and combine the essential patient data. Plus having daily notes and prescription linking built in is something I consider indispensable!
Cons
For me there's not much to complain about as overall it's a solid product. It does take some time to get comfortable with the system but after I get the hang of it, I find it quite user-friendly.

Pros
Using this software is really easy and it is very customizable. It even runs automatic insurance eligibility checks. And I absolutely love that it is cloud-based and works fine on Macs so I do not have to buy extra machines. It is also one of the better-looking EHR systems I have used.
Cons
I am unable to export claims as printable images and I am forced to route claims through their proprietary clearinghouse. That creates a real headache for me because I am contractually required to use another clearinghouse so this limitation makes the software hard for me to adopt.

These days I carry all my patients' information on a compact iPad. I have found DrChrono to be a organized, user-friendly application and their customer support is excellent. Just think about getting rid of every paper chart!!

I found it really easy to use across a wide range of people, with a crisp, clean interface, several different ways to work within the app and I absolutely loved the whole experience.
Cons
For me some features would freeze from time to time, the billing area could be messy on occasion and I had to be extra cautious when entering ePI data.

I am really impressed with the billing features as they have made doing and tracking my own billing incredibly simple. The templates are also easy to customize to my needs. Though it takes a little while to get everything configured but once thats done I find the system very user-friendly.
Cons
Being a chiropractic practice I have run into problems getting EHR certification through Medicare I suspect it's because we're a chiropractic office rather than a physician MD practice.
