“Overly complicated and not simple”
Pros
It performs well. There are a few alterations needed but the prebuilt templates are great and support is really amazing.
Cons
Honestly I find it overly complicated at times. I really wish they'd simplify the workflow and make registering faster and easier.

“Great PM and EHR services ”
Pros
The software has some great functionalities to offer. we utilize it for population health management, quality reporting, documentation, and practice management purposes. it has all the functions you would need in a good EMR for ever-flourishing primary health clinics with multiple locations.
Cons
The data placements is not the most intuitive. sometimes you would expect some records to extracted from a certain location but they are produced from an entirely different place. the calculations are sometimes off. and a few other unusual results the software produces out of nowhere which have no correlation with the input or required data.

“Horrible service. Not at all recommended”
Pros
Some of the highlights are decent, you can enter your advisors (yet you need to do this physically). Has e-endorsing yet hard to get lab interfaces or controlled e-recommending. Notes do look like notes and a portion of the formats for tests are anything but difficult to utilize.
Cons
Horrible client administration. Too costly for an obsolete system. When I left, I paid $5000 to get my records to move into my new EMR. They sent me a hard drive with information in arbitrary game plans and adulterated information. eClinicalWorks has a complicated framework that is so twisted, it will never work effectively. Each time there is an update, so many functions stop working. getting somebody who talks justifiable English or even somebody to react to your issue is rare whenever you need customer support. You may get a follow up a few days after, at any random hour. The main individuals there who speak English are funnily, the sales representatives.

“Progressive”
Pros
It is a progressive software. They keep on improving and keep adding new features in it which is amazing. I have used a lot of EMRs before, and out of all of them, this would have to be the best and my favorite. Their tech team usually solves your problems quicker than the rest of the EMR tech support teams. They do cost their new features or add-on, but in comparison I would say that eClinicalWorks is quite reasonable. It is a cloud-based system, which has resolved all our hosting issues. They have really great features patient engagement, appointment making, scheduling etc. I would definitely recommend this software to everyone.
Cons
Their reporting part is not really good, and it would be better if they work on improving it. Searching databases is hard as well to get accurate results. Many years ago their revenue cycle management seemed unreliable but now theyve worked on it. Theyre progressive, so you should give it a shot. Youll love it.

“Beware”
Pros
Despite some favorable features the manual entry requirement for consultants and challenges in obtaining lab interfaces or controlled e-prescribing are acknowledged. The notes' appearance and user-friendly templates for exams are cited as positive aspects.
Cons
Described as a spaghetti programming system with frequent issues post-updates language barriers hamper issue resolution. The system is considered inefficient leading to a switch to a different EMR for improved functionality.

“What's In Eclinicalworks For You?”
Pros
Praising eClinicalWorks as an all-inclusive software the reviewer appreciates its messaging capabilities to staff effective progress tracking and various dedicated inboxes for fax documents and prescriptions. The software's holistic approach to monitoring is highlighted.
Cons
Acknowledges downsides such as the need for individual claim handling yet praises eCW for eliminating errors. Despite the time-consuming nature of resolving issues through tickets the overall positive aspects outweigh the negatives.

“I love eClinical!”
Pros
The billing functions of ECW receive praise for their ease of use allowing straightforward posting of ERAs patient payments and claims investigation. The customization of charting and appointment scheduling is commended with a special mention of the efficient messaging system.
Cons
Reports are highlighted as the least liked aspect due to complexity and trial-and-error efforts. Despite initial difficulties the user eventually gathers necessary information for practice monitoring.

Acknowledges the vendor's progressive approach in developing new features citing examples like pulling data from home blood glucose meters. The software's flexibility technology options for data collection and efficient notifications for patient engagement are highlighted.

“Powerful with wide capabilities”
Pros
What I like about this being a web-based system is that, similar to most EMR platforms, it is powerful and comes with a wide range of capabilities and features. I like that it can pull in data from insulin pumps, my Fitbit and digital scales which helps provide a fuller picture of a patient's status. I also value the way it tracks patient flow. From a user perspective, it's fairly easy to pick up. Having only recently started using it, I recognize there's a lot I still need to learn. I have worked with many different EMR/EHR packages over time so I can see both strengths and weaknesses here. While there are aspects I do enjoy about this system, it wouldn't be my top pick for a practice overall. Because as a nurse, I don't feel the workflow is ideal as there are multiple areas that need refinement. On the plus side it does function reliably and is accessible from nearly anywhere which is handy. That essentially sums up my impressions.
Cons
I am currently using it and I feel strongly that the people who design and develop these kinds of systems should spend time on the front lines with physicians, nurses, front desk staff, coders and anyone else who interacts with the software so they can truly understand real-world workflows. My main frustration is that this system requires far too many clicks to accomplish basic tasks. For example, I tried to find a patient's guardian information and it wasn't easy to access. There should be a simpler, clearer method to enter and view past medical history and procedural records like mammograms, DEXA scans, diabetic eye exams and the like. The telephone encounter feature is something I really dislikeasthe initial message template can even be adjusted in a way that worries me. Overall it feels clunky and click-heavy. Social history is aggravating because I end up entering smoking status in multiple places. why cannot that field populate everywhere automatically? I also don't care for how the visit summary report generates. it could be pared down and simplified significantly. Having used GEMMS, Sage Intergy, NextGen, NextMD, EPIC, Meditech and a few others, I know all systems have trade-offs. In my experience EPIC was the most powerful and the easiest to navigate for tracking progress. I believe that with targeted feedback and sensible changes, this company could really improve the product and turn it into an excellent system.

“Unique escribe and fax features”
Pros
I appreciate the unique capabilities this charting platform provides that I don't see elsewhere as features like eScribe and the ability to fax straight from a patient's chart.
Cons
My experience is that it takes too long to have new services implemented and fully operational. some problems have lingered for months before being fixed.

“All-in-one solution but sometimes freezes”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is that the software acts as an all-in-one solutionasI am able to send faxes, create referrals and do my charting without switching between different programs, all in one place.
Cons
Sometimes the program freezes which is frustrating. I wish the freezing problems could be reduced or handled more reliably so my workflow isn't interrupted.

“My Favorite”
Pros
This has to be my favorite product for medical practices. This software is great, I learnt it myself and found it easy as well. It can be used in any office. The system is reliable and is easy to navigate. The program is very intuitive. I can easily look at patients list and know about their visits and surgery process details. It is easy to find things that you want.
Cons
There was no proper training given to me, I had to learn all of it on my own and yet there are a few more things that I need to figure out on how to do it, but I dont think this is a con of the product.

“eClinicalWorks is reliable!”
Pros
Working with eClinicalWorks has been a great experience. It is a wonderful EMR, and for me out of all the other EMRs I have used this has been the best yet. The billing is great. The system itself is easy to learn and use. The system is reliable in every way. The information can easily be accessed. It is quite a professional system.
Cons
I believe they can still add many other medical related features and make it more better and save a lot of our time. Although, it is an incredible software even now.

“Great templates. Adaptable system”
Pros
We have been very pleased with eClinicalWorks EMR. The system as so much to offer and it does not feel heavy at all even with all the features. It is easy to navigate; the layout is simple and organized. There are frequent updates which ensure optimal user satisfaction. It is very adaptable and reliable. Their customer support is very good.
Cons
The system may seem too costly if you want to use it for a small practice. Although, it does come with pre-built features which are worth the expense but if you do not require them, I would advise not wasting your money on it unless they have some special packages or discount offers.

“Outdated software. Wont recommend”
Pros
eClinicalWorks looks like a good all-in-one software. the system has a lot of features and options for everything. So much choice that borders into utter confusion.
Cons
Every little task you may need to get done takes multiple steps and clicks. Even the littlest ones, to the point it is plain frustrating. We got the system to avoid putting extra effort and time in to-to-day tasks but this system funnily does the opposite. The EMR is obsolete and there hasn’t been any indication from the company as hopes for a change.

“eClinicalWorks should be known as “jack of all trades, master of none””
Pros
It is a system that is completely designed for medical purposes and has all the features and functionalities needed by any medical practice. It is a complete practice management system. We haven’t implemented the system completely yet, we are using a part of it, but I do know that it is capable of doing a lot more than we realize.
Cons
Being a complete practice management and having all the features and functionalities needed by any practice the only problem with this system is that it doesn’t do any of the work well. The system consists of bugs, errors and design issues that it usually gets in the way of what you’re basically working on. If they want, they can improve this system a lot and make it much better than what it is like right now, and without any extra trouble.
