“easy ehr with built-in templates”

eClinicalWorks is pretty easy to use for EHR documentation. The built-in templates organize the workflow and make recording procedures simple which helps users of every age navigate it comfortably.

Cons

I often find ECW to be painfully slow, with frequent lagging and glitches across the system.

If you work at a small clinic with absolutely no need for integration with other departments or external vendors, only then eClinical may be a workable choice for you. Otherwise, it is s regretful choice.

Where do I begin. We started using eClinicalWorks for our practice because it seemed like a good service for an affordable cost. Initially, we were promised a lot of things. There were all these features, all things full of choice but when it came to delivering, they did not come through. It is almost impossible for the EMR to communicate with other departments like billing and labs. Customer service never proved to be of help. We suffered the entire time we used this system until we finally switched to Epic, which is great in comparison.

“Wonderful support with countless customizations”

I really appreciate being able to personalize my dashboard in countless ways. eCW's customer support is WONDERFUL to deal with, including their overseas team as well!

Cons

Sometimes I find it annoying that reminders and similar alerts still trigger after I have cancelled an appointment. That bug tends to get resolved usually fairly quickly, though.

The interface is user friendly and uncluttered making it a practical EMR tool. The prebuilt EMR templates are adequate for recording routine clinical details and basic patient information.

In my experience the typography and layout can be tricky to navigate and there aren't any help or guidance buttons so I think a new user could struggle to pick it up confidently on their very first day.

EClinical makes things really easy when I am sending referrals to other clinicians who also use eClinical.

From my experience it's designed around general practice workflows and doesn't work as smoothly for specialties like dermatology.

It is easy to use once you learn it. Template making, lab reviewing, message addressing and making phone calls is very easy as well. You can easily manage everything with this system, everything works smoothly, and you can easily complete tasks.

Cons

Probably it might be an issue my company made while setting it up, or it might be the products con, not sure about it but the assessment portion is missing key components.

“Greater impact”

Pros

The best part of this product is that I can easily give online medical consultation to anyone in any part of the world, with a backup and protection of the data. I can easily communicate with my patients, maintaining their privacy. It is a great product and has a higher impact.

The only con that it might have for some people is that if they don’t have a very strong and fast internet connection they might have troubles during the consultation process as it requires internet throughout the process.

The system is nice and has all the features and functionalities that we need. It is easy to learn and use, even without any guidance. It is easy to find options that you need to work on, and it is great to have everything available in one system.

The design of this system seems like it was made for a previous time. It isn’t appealing at all and the system is very chunky as well.

I like the system completely. It is a wonderful system and I really like it. They provide training videos to you, so you can learn how to use the system. The system itself is pretty much easy to use. The charting features provided are so simple and easy.

Cons

I really don’t like that fact that you have to ask for help and set an appointment with the customer support team just to get your problem fixed, you have to take out proper time from your busy schedule just to get things fixed.
