Pros
This system is quite easy to use and navigate through. It feels like a great software. They have also provided with a lot of training videos, so it is easy to know and learn how to use it. The customer support is great as well, they are always readily available to help. You can either place your concerns through the system or you can go for the live feedback option which is online chatting and is great. I would recommend this software.
Cons
Whenever I need some sort of help I just simply ask for it rather than trying to find it out on myself through videos, because you can easily get lost trying to find the solution to your problem, as there are so many videos to look from.

“It’s just okay”
Pros
The telephone encounter is a great feature that I really like, as documenting the call is very easy and the interactions are quick. The system is easy to use once you learn it, and it does offer many features, from which I also like the timestamp feature. I can easily timestamp my notes which is very helpful.
Cons
The system is not intuitive at all. Everything on the system is cluttered and it makes it very difficult to learn and train the staff to work on it. There are many other ways to do the same task that it usually gets very confusing. It requires a lot of clicking to complete a task.

“Useful but confusing”
Pros
eClinicalWorks have enhanced our user experience. The interface is nice and has all the information that we need. The system has a lot of options to choose from. It can attach documents to messages which is great. The communication channel with the healthcare provider is quite secure. It is a nice EMR, with a lot of great features.
Cons
There are a lot of tabs and options which often gets really confusing. The home screen has a lot of extra information that I think is not needed there. Navigation between tabs is quite perplexing. There should be mobile app through which we can access the system when away from a computer.

“Very user-friendly with clear steps”
Pros
It is very user-friendly since it guides me through each step clearly.
Cons
A major frustration for me is that only one user can access a patient's chart at a time so when both the RN or MA need to enter documentation and the MD is already working in that same chart, it inevitably causes a bottleneck and delays someone from completing their notes.

“Feature-rich and highly configurable”
Pros
I am impressed by how feature-rich eClinicalWorks is. it really has everything you'd need to run a practice. The standout for me is how configurable it is and its capability to bring multiple groups or practices into a single EHR. Being able to merge several entities is a huge time-saver especially when I am working on the backend during collections. The account ledgers are extremely detailed and I can see each charge and date of service separated by entity which makes juggling multiple operationsaslike PRO, ASC and Anesthesiaasmuch easier. I also appreciate not having to flip between profiles or different books of business to manage all the groups. The reporting tools have tons of filters and ways to dig into data so I can analyze the practice thoroughly. Charting includes alerts that stop providers from signing or releasing incomplete records which helps avoid billing hold-ups and delays in collections. Finally, the search function is excellent. the team can find patients even when we only have a tiny bit of information to go on.
Cons
At first the system felt extremely overwhelming because the interface is so dense. without proper training it can be tough to find your way around. I have run into technical hiccups tooasperiodic freezing happensasand we've had trouble getting printers and fax machines to connect and integrate reliably. It's also irritating that the platform limits users from opening multiple windows or accounts at once which becomes a real pain when I am handling billing and collections on the backend. eClinicalWorks releases multiple versions of their practice management software and pushes updates regularly but they don't always integrate as smoothly as you'd hope and some features don't function the way they're intended to.

“Centralized with user-friendly alerts”
Pros
Having everything centralized really appeals to me. I also find the interface extremely user friendly and the alerts and message-forwarding features work exactly as expected.
Cons
I feel the day's schedule could be presented in a clearer, more user friendly layout. Also I would prefer an alternative view that makes it quicker for me to scan today's appointments.

Pros
Once you get all the system set up and running, things get a bit better. The use of the EMR is great. The charting and billing tool is somewhat easy to use and once learnt can easily be taught to new staff. It is a good tool and does much what you need it to do.
Cons
The EMR’s cost and per provider cost kind of puts the system out of running, especially when you staff with mid-levels or PRN providers.

“Review”
Pros
Compared to other EMRs, this EMR I would say is just OKAY. It definitely has a lot of features and functionalities which is great as they are very useful and learning how to use this system would not be a problem for anyone as it is very easy to learn and use.
Cons
Is a bit disorganized. It would be great if they could add a help button, so that we could easily look for anything that we’re unable to do. Just to know stuff we have to call their support team which feels very annoying to bug them again and again.

Pros
This system is one of my favorite EMRs. WORD. It is the best EMR out there and I recommend it to everyone to get it and make your lives easier. This system is very very very easy to use. It is user-friendly, efficient and a complete EMR, that anyone would be looking for.
Cons
I don’t really have any complain regarding the software, but just a minor issue I would like to give some light is that there needs to be some sort of training session provided to a new or first-time user.

“Stay away from this product!”
Pros
There is an “if” in what I am about to say, do focus on the if. So, the format and info display are quite easy to read IF the system does not crash and IF the system didn’t somehow manage to delete your sign-in or passwords. There isn’t anything good that I can say about this product.
Cons
Firstly, I’d like to say that all of you should stay away from this product, don’t waste your time getting it. The customer support is HORRIBLE, they don’t have any contact info listed. The system itself is not reliable and keeps on crashing and shutting down, doesn’t work at all. Logging in takes forever and patient loading is as slow as a snail. It is extremely difficult to use this system through a laptop or iPhone.

“Needs a bit of improvement.”
Pros
This tool is quite useful, has helped us do our tasks. I like that with this software I am able to see the lab results. And I can also send messages to the doctor whenever I need to ask anything from them.
Cons
This system would be a lot better if they improved it a bit. As there are a few things here and there that needs improvement, like it gets a little tricky when I navigate from one result to another, especially when I am using it through a phone, where the reports are not responsive at all and do not fit the screen. And whenever I press the back button, it would always log me out of the system.

“everything on a single page”
Pros
Everything I need to document appears on a single page. The software is neatly organized and I really value being able to design my own templates because it makes documentation go much faster.
Cons
Occasionally the application takes a while to refresh. When others document parts for me as for instance, a medical assistant who records the HPI as they don't automatically appear as having signed the entry. It would be helpful to have an obvious indication that the MA completed and signed the HPI so there's no ambiguity.

“Lots of useful access logging”
Pros
I have found eClinicalWorks offers a lot of useful features. What I particularly like is that it records and shows who accessed a patient's chart and logs any edits and updated details within that chart.
Cons
Every so often I get an alert saying something like other user interrupted action while I am in the middle of a task that shouldn't be interruptible. When that happens the software freezes and prevents me from proceeding with any steps, forcing me to completely exit the application and sign in again before I can continue.

“Works well for us”
Pros
It works well for us as it gets the job done. You can make it do anything you want but you firstly got to learn how, after that it is very easy for you to manage things and handle it well. You can get anything done from the system. You can easily get reports, manage billing etc. Their support team is prompt in responding. Their billing module is reasonable and is pretty good.
Cons
Whenever you upgrade the system, usually there are a few things that might stop working and that kind of gets really frustrating. Sometimes you have to click a lot just to complete a task. Working with the reporting side of this system wasn’t great until the mid of 2018, and now they’ve upgraded their system and we’re still waiting for them to make it work. They don’t have templates so setting up would be hard for anyone as you’ve got to do it from scratch. I think that it is like most of the EMRs out there, and no EMR is yet so perfect.

“Really easy with a single day”
Pros
Overall the software is really easy to use and pick up since I only needed a single day to get how the program operates. I also like that it keeps me signed in. Also the Billing section and claims handling are excellent. Reporting is great too. The patient hub lets me access everything in one place. I am a fan of the tickler because it reminds me about all my tasks.
Cons
I am annoyed that I am forced to update my password every month. On occasion the system freezes while I am in the middle of typing a note. Adding immunization records is really time-consuming. There's also an excessive amount of clicking and the scheduled color coding feels cumbersome. The customer support experience is poor. Don't count on speaking to someone with clear English as I often find their language hard to follow.

“Change is inevitable”
Pros
They believe that change is inevitable and for that they keep on updating and upgrading their system accordingly which is a great thing for them to do. Their support team has improved a lot over the past 6 months. They focus more on customer satisfaction and will go all the way to help you resolve any issues that you are facing with the system.
Cons
As they keep on improving, updating and upgrading their system, there are always new things that we have to learn, and it sometimes it gets hard to cope up with all the learning and stuff. Although it is really great that they improve but learning again and again for us seems a bit annoying. They should make things easier when they improve it for the providers so that we can focus more on patient care.

“Windows-based program”
Pros
eClinicalWorks being a windows-based program is really great, as it makes navigation easy. It is easy to use, there are many ways to do a task. They have a very wide variety of functions and features, which is according to the medical field. Accessing the database and all is very reliable, and we’ve hardly faced any problem with it.
Cons
Sometimes all the features and functionalities can be overwhelming when it comes to the point where you have to train new staff. It can get a bit tricky to do that as there are so many ways to do a task. It kind of looks unorganized, but the good thing is that my staff can navigate through it.
