“It gets the work done”

Pros

ECW can get most of what you need to be done. I work basically on the detailing side and staff support. The capacity to drag reports is great with their EBO framework. We get nearly everything we require and the support and billing benefit is also great.

Cons

Anytime you are planning to work, something isnt planning to work which is exceptionally baffling. In case youre doing CPC practice you will be baffled as their reporting dashboard took until the center of 2018 to begin working and after that we upgraded and presently we are holding up for the dashboard to get fixed.

“It seems like an unsafe EMR”

There is nothing that attracts me to use eClinical. I dont like this software

This program is composed of ancient codes, it requires way as well numerous clicks to get things done. You are not able to multi task with this EHR and it powers you into little boxes which do not allow you sufficient genuine domain to get work done and it is impossible to track the solutions

Although there are numerous features but none of them works efficiently. The support is horrendous and the staff has to perform tasks repeatedly to check the same information.

We cant find an easy process for the authorization. Excel spreadsheet have to be used for recording data. The way telephone notes are set up are mostly no good for office workflow.

For me it simplifies a wide range of tasks as from managing appointments and processing payments to handling billing, tracking compliance, issuing certificates and writing prescriptions quickly and efficiently. Because it's completely cloud-based, I value the powerful reporting capabilities that provide comprehensive, actionable information. The support team has consistently been helpful, offering fast and satisfactory assistance so overall I feel eClinicalWorks delivers more advantages than disadvantages and has become central to how we operate.

One issue I have is the cost as the price of this service can be a major limitation for users on a tight budget and I wish there were more flexible pricing options so eClinicalWorks could be accessible to many more practices. that kind of affordability would likely help the product expand since a lot of people would choose it for its strong performance. Another point I have noticed is that the software can feel confusing for beginners because the interface is broad and feature-rich and when I onboard new staff they often struggle to locate functions without guidance. I would really like to see clearer documentation, step-by-step guides or tutorial resources to help users understand and adopt the platform more easily.

Given the scarcity of HIPAA-compliant platforms we desire more collaboration tools and additional CRM features for office staff within eClinical. However it excels in medical features.

eClinicalWorks is packed with useful features, including physician scheduling and certification tools, automated insurance backup requests, remote patient order management, frequent software upgrades, separated documentation templates, a prescription transfer service, digital patient health tracking, simple two-step login for physician accounts, hospital budget accounting, real-time invoice organization, handwriting recognition for medication dosing and file uploads. All of this makes the software practical and impressive.

Cons

In my experience whenever I try to send messages through eClinicalWorks the system often fails to properly sync user profile links. Because of this, when I initiate a send action not all the needed notifications appear on the user's display as things like medication changes, hospital payment reminders, cancellation notices for medicine transfers, care-assessment updates about health progress or imports of documentation for on-call physicians can be missed. I also encounter access issues to patient history while using their main collaborative tools which makes reliable communication and record-sharing problematic.

eClinicalWorks is my favorite EHR Software. My favorite feature is the search Patient feature. Documentation is super simple. Ease of use.

The progress notes are semi-prepopulated which leads to irrelevant information getting into the notes.
