“Needs a lot of improvement”
Pros
The price is one of its major advantages as other EHR software is quite expensive.
Cons
It is a complicated software that requires help to understand and manage it. The customer support is pathetic which further makes the use of this software very hard. Features are very average. Better alternatives available.

“Work EMR”
Pros
A notable aspect of Eclinical is its user-friendly interface providing visibility into all providers' schedules and facilitating patient additions as needed.
Cons
What I find least appealing about the app is when it encounters slowness or lags making patient care a challenging task.

“Personally never used a better software!”
Pros
The search option in this software is great. It even alerts you when multiple patients have the same names to avoid errors. It gives you a history of the patients visit and upcoming visits too when you pull up patient files!
Cons
The progress notes already have some information on them which can lead to information that you didnt need making its way on there!

“Steep Learning Curve with ECW”
Pros
ECW has positive elements including the creation of easily accessible treatment plan templates and the ability to copy forward the last clinical note.
Cons
Learning eClinicalWorks has proven challenging despite attending a two-day in-person seminar and engaging with training modules. Inputting information in certain areas automatically incorporates it into every note from every provider moving forward a significant drawback necessitating privacy workarounds.

“Clunky not integrated”
Pros
The flexibility to select and create templates coupled with helpful auto-populate features streamlines copying and pasting within charts saving valuable time.
Cons
The EHR lacks integration with other document viewing software leading to the need for multiple passwords and sign-ins. The absence of a standardized approach results in confusion when instructing or guiding someone through the system.

“sClinical(DOES NOT)Works !!!”
Pros
none
Cons
I WROTE THE FOLLOWING REVIEW IN 2014, 2 YEARS AFTER IMPLEMENTING THIS SOFTWARE IN MY PRACTICE. NOW, THE PROBLEMS ARE SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE! THE LATEST UPDATE REMOVED A NUMBER OF FUNCTIONALITIES, WHICH WERE PART OF THE PROGRAM FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS, MAKING THE EMR EVEN MORE CUMBERSOME, COINER-INTUITIVE AND DIFFICULT TO USE.The worst software I have ever had a displeasure to use!!! I spend HOURS every week for the last two years with the so called tech support, who bounce the open tickets from one tech to the other, each one not knowing what the other had done. I spend hours, explaining the problem, only to have the open tickets closed by techs without resolution and my consent, or deleted from the portal all together. The first thing almost every tech support tells you that your problem can not be resolved, and will only attempt to do something about it when you demand escalation to supervisor. The program slowed down the office productivity by 30 % and I cannot wait to stop using it.

“Very behind on updates”
Pros
In fulfilling basic EHR functionalities such as storing patient data in a HIPAA-compliant manner eClinicalWorks effectively accomplishes the required tasks.
Cons
The development team lags significantly behind on updates and the software lacks the capability to open an interface for third-party integrations. They provided no timeline for implementation hindering progress for our client.
