Awful customer support. Not tier 2 certified

Pros

It is easy to adapt to our office needs, and their friendly tech support is readily available, providing human interaction rather than automated responses.

Cons

The customer service experience has been abysmal. Despite promises of tier 2 certification, there has been no progress, resulting in substantial losses for users. Communication with the developer escalated to a confrontational level, ultimately leading to disappointment.

Enjoying using Eclipse at our office!

In 1985, when I meticulously evaluated available practice management software tailored for chiropractic and medical professionals, none seemed to offer the report functionalities essential for my burgeoning practice. However, ECLIPSE emerged as the solution, initially streamlining billing and appointment scheduling tasks, even on the limited hardware of the 1980s. As the 1990s approached, the integration of SOAP further enhanced its utility. With each new demand imposed by insurers, such as complex pre-certification processes, ECLIPSE continually evolved to streamline paperwork and optimize time management. Custom form creation, a standout feature from the previous decade, revolutionized our workflow, enabling seamless integration of custom forms like those for BC/BS without the need for programmers, drastically reducing the time spent on manual form filling. Moreover, ECLIPSE's user-friendly interface facilitated staff adaptation, saving us from the need to hire additional personnel, particularly in electronic billing. Now, with the latest SOAP technology, recording accurate notes has become even simpler. Over my 25+ years in practice, where I've encountered various documentation styles among colleagues, ECLIPSE's customization options, especially crucial for chiropractors with diverse methodologies, have garnered praise from auditors for their effectiveness and efficiency.

The software's complexity and steep learning curve have posed significant challenges during the implementation process, causing stress and frustration among users. Training resources, available only by phone and online, may not adequately cater to users who are less technologically inclined.
