Having the ability to use it on an iPad gives me a lot more flexibility when entering data. I can easily update and input information from anywhere.
Cons

“Billing team needs improvement”
Pros
When I contact customer service they're polite but can't help much with billing questions. They always redirect me to the billing department but the wait time for them to respond is terrible.
Cons
I've found that ModMed's billing team is slow to respond to emails, and there's no direct phone number to contact them. We continue to get billed for downgraded services, and the response time is often longer than two weeks. When someone does get back to us, they don't seem to know much about our account. The wait for replies is incredibly long. On top of that, our invoice portal isn't accurate and doesn't show all of our invoices.

Pros
I find it really easy to document the (HPI) using quick text. It saves me a lot of time and makes the process smoother.
Cons
I was disappointed with customer support. When we purchased the system, there was no surgical op report available. Everything had to be customized, and very little was provided to us after the purchase.

There are plenty of features and it's clear that they listened during development. We appreciate the ease of use and customization available for our practice.
Cons
After the software implementation, the level of support significantly diminishes. Despite submitting a crucial issue ticket concerning our accounts receivable on January 29th, 2024, there has been no acknowledgment or response. I attempted to contact both our designated representative and her supervisor but received no assistance. It's disheartening to experience such inadequate customer support, especially considering the premium price we pay for this product. In contrast, with our previous EMR system, we consistently received responses within the next business day. It's now been three days, and the lack of resolution is disappointing. The ticket number is #02319526, addressed to the ModMed representative, who will presumably address this feedback.

Pros
I love the appointment flow screen and having all the info for each appointment on one screen. The EMR is unmatched for real-time charting in the patient room. The biopsy log feature is also fantastic compared to our previous paper log.
Cons
I've noticed that ModMed is always making updates and getting better.

“Great EHR, Terrible customer support”
Pros
I find the EHR documentation excellent, and the iPad interface works really well for me.
Cons
Customer service is nonexistent. We've asked to remove providers and services over the years but they keep billing us for them. Even after selling the company and transferring, the account we still get billed. They're unresponsive and simply don't care about our business once we start with them.

It's simple to use and looks nice, even for staff who aren't comfortable with technology.
Cons
The software is inefficient, as it often requires endless scrolling and switching between screens, which interrupts my workflow and makes simple tasks like uploading prescription details more difficult. The lack of automatic updates to patient history adds to the workload, and frequent crashes only make the experience more frustrating.

Pros
I find Modmed has a nearly foolproof design, although there's still some room for improvement. Training new staff on its features and processes is fairly easy. The support is generally great with fast response times, though the experience can vary depending on who answers the phone.
Cons
The quality of support depends a lot on who answers the phone. The billing and claims process is decent, but it definitely needs some improvement. The analytics, however, are a complete nightmare.

We love the actual product. Cloud-based services are great compared to our previous local server/remote setup.
Cons
I've had good experiences with software support, but it took around six weeks to get a response from the billing team. The initial contract didn't include any of the ancillary items we specifically asked about, except for eFax. They also didn't include tax in the contract, which made it misleading when we were budgeting or making financial decisions about switching. We were led to believe that everything we could be charged for was included, but that turned out not to be the case.

The installation process was a complete disaster for me, with unresponsive account managers, buggy integrations, and a failure to deliver on the promised features. Even after trying to escalate the issues to higher levels within the company, I received no response from the executives. I would strongly advise avoiding this product to prevent experiencing the same frustrations.

“This Poorly Designed, User-Unfriendly Software Is Sending My Blood Pressure Skyward”

When you shut it down it doesn't restart on it's own like a vampire or zombie.
Cons
Customer service is poor the interface is overcomplicated training is inadequate and weve contracted with an inept and inadequate clearinghouse. They respond to every single request with Good idea but we cant do that and what should be single-step processes require multiple screens and users. They flood my inbox with invitations to seminars where I'm supposed to learn how to improve my business.
