Poor product

Pros

There's not much to it for me. It's mostly just data entry, but at this point, I feel there shouldn't be as much data entry to do. So, overall, it feels like not much at all.

Cons

Where do I even begin? If the copay differs from the EOB (when a patient hits their deductible or out-of-pocket limit), the EOBs either do not auto-post or create a negative balance. Take your pick on which nightmare you prefer, because the incompetent staff will just reassure you that it's done this way. They have this "fantastic" feature where if a patient pays in advance or for a future session, it creates a "prepay" entry. Later, you have to add a payment, which makes it appear as if the patient paid more, or it just sits on the T balance. When you manually post EOBs, there is no way to audit the check for accuracy. It posts to each patient individually rather than as a whole check, so if you make a mistake on the amount, good luck correcting it. They charge for support, but thats also a joke. They will acknowledge there is an issue, promise to fix it and then follow up by saying its supposed to work that way. If you are managing a group, expect fresh horrors. Moving a payment around? The system does not understand that a patient payment might be moved and you might end up paying your provider 2, 3 or 4 times over. Nothing connects properly. You need a separate EMR to manually enter all the claims, a separate credit card processor for patient payments and of course, a separate clearinghouse. I doubt they have updated anything since the 1980s.

Best tool for your practice

Pros

I think it's a great Practice Management platform that adapts to nearly any practice type or specialty, yet it remains incredibly user-friendly and functional. The team has done a fantastic job of keeping the program fresh and up-to-date with the required guidelines and regulations through automatic updates.

Cons

Still some bugs that could be better. Continues to improve with each suggestion.

Pros

It really helps with the administrative side of my practice, and the scheduling feature stands out as the most useful. It saves a lot of time and hassle. The module is also super user-friendly, which makes it even better.

They can work on their visual look and resolution.

Simple to operate

Pros

One of the major reason to buy this product was that its operations were quite easy and didnt take much time to learn. Plus their customer service is great and always on one call away.

Cons

Few inconsistencies in the workflow but works just fine for me.

Needs upgrading to be user-friendly

Pros

I find it easy to create digital patient files. It does not require much training to get someone comfortable using the software.

Cons

We ended up not being able to use it for billing. We really needed software that could handle scheduling, billing and note-taking all in one. It seriously needs improvements there.

Highly dislike It, terrible program

Pros

What I like most about this system is the opportunity to tell everyone how much I dislike it.

Cons

Everything is a problem for me, especially billing its a disaster. 1) I have to manually enter each procedure code at every visit. There is no option to copy from previous days or use preset buttons for quick posting. 2) Posting payments is also a complete disaster. If a patient has two BCBS plans, primary and secondary, I need to search the policies to find the patient ID that matches the ERA because it's not available from the posting window. 3) The ledger is unreadable and frequently shows 'credits' to the insurance company for an over-payment, which isn't what happened. 4) To correct any postings, I have to delete everything and start over because I cannot just make corrections. 5) To correct anything, I must 'un-allocate' payments to make them available for correction. 6) Forget about easily printing a patient receipt unless I do it from the one and only window during the transaction. If I miss that, I have to delete the data, re-enter it, and print it from the only chance I get. 7) There is absolutely no way to audit. Other software systems let me look up an ERA or EFT by different methods: payment date, number, or amount. I can't look up a payment at all here. If I receive a payment with multiple patients on the ERA, I can only view it for one patient. I cannot cross-reference my payment listings on Trizetto to confirm that the payment was posted correctly, other than looking up each patient individually. I've run out of space to describe the issues.

Lot of hype, no outcome

Pros

It's cheap, but you get what you pay for, and that is not quality service or a quality product.

Cons

I keep getting told, "We'll be updating next month," but it never happens. Its just a lot of lies.

Best solution I've tried

Pros

It's super simple to use and easy to learn. I love how it lets me create and modify information while managing multiple accounts on the same system.

Cons

I like how easy it is to delete anything in the system, but it is frustrating that I can only see who created the original entry.
