Handles my insurance

Pros

The Experity Logbook is incredibly user-friendly on most days, the app handles all our insurance verification automatically, eliminating the need to contact the insurance company which is such a relief.

Cons

When the software goes down, I find myself unable to access essential documents like registration forms, insurance cards, and IDs.

They need to sort out billing and charting

Pros

As an EHR, it barely meets the mark, offering just enough functionality for basic tasks like billing and coding. There's nothing remarkable to appreciate or consider as a pro.

Cons

I have experienced a lot of inflexibility with this software, particularly in payment posting, which is quite messy. Navigating between different functions is cumbersome due to the lack of navigational features. Keeping track of payments, charges, or patient balances is overly hectic, and historical data is inaccessible within the database. Everything requires a report to be extracted, for example to view charges or payments between two dates, or patient visits, I always need to generate a report.

Gets the job done well

Enhances productivity

The CME feature in Experity is hands-down the best part of this software. It allows us to develop custom code customized to our practice, which reduces human errors during daily workflows. Its pretty decent software that is not complicated to use but for some tasks, its way too simple. Some features are nice too but I think they could use some improvements.

Cons

Easy note-taking

Pros

I find the system to be excellent it is easy to navigate, allowing me to track patients and visits effortlessly. It integrates easily with other systems and doesn't require excessive double-charting like some alternatives. Inputting notes and visits is really smooth for us.

Cons

I found that this software lacks functionality to integrate with other programs for system-wide patient tracking, especially if a patient is admitted after an urgent care visit. It seems more geared towards standalone clinic use.

Covers everything we need

Pros

Docutap is very easy to use for urgent care setups, making day-to-day data management effortless. It's an all-in-one solution for scheduling visits, recording visit history, handling our billing/coding, and submitting bills to payers.

Cons

The reporting feature of the software requires an upgrade. Most reports generate with merged cells, making analysis difficult. Normalizing reports into a standard Excel format would better suit our needs.

Best one for urgent care

We really like the user-friendly nature of this EMR for meeting urgent care needs. Over the years, the practice management system has significantly improved collection percentages, DOS, and accounts over 120 days ratios. We highly recommend it for urgent care centers, DocuTap has been an invaluable partner.

Great software, but support and updates are not up to your standards.

Pros

Having an EMR specifically designed for urgent care facilities is fantastic. It is important for me to have a software vendor who understands our needs and limitations to ensure a stable and functional EMR. I also like that the interface is clean, user-friendly, and easy to train on.

Cons

Over the past year, I have noticed that the general support line has become less helpful. When I have a relatively simple issue, it now takes much longer to resolve. And whenever there is an update, I prepare myself for problems as I can almost always count on something being broken.

Experity from the begining to WOW!!!!

Pros

I have been using Experity EHR for 4 years and I absolutely love this software and the company. They are quite innovative, friendly and just great to work with. There is never a dull moment, with exciting new features and a team that clearly enjoys their jobs. I even visited Experity EHR in SD and if you get the chance go there for sure you will be sold!

Cons

I have no complaints as the adaptability of the system, no matter what stage my clinic is in it works. Whether its new, transitioning or growing things works for me in all situations.

OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE C+

Pros

Using this software is pretty easy. Anyone can pick it up. It truly stands out as one of the most user friendly systems I have ever used. I love all of its features.

Cons

Honestly, the customer service team and staff often lack knowledge about the occupational medicine functions and features. Although Experity has made significant improvements over the past five years and continues to do so, not all customer service representatives understand the occupational medicine aspects of the software. One major issue for me is with the invoices. As a practice with multiple locations, our invoices print one location per page, sometimes exceeding 10 pages. We need all charges listed in date order, regardless of the location visited. This setup leads to frequent short-paid or partially paid invoices because clients often overlook the last pages which causes me to spend extra time calling them to explain and request additional payments. It also increases our costs due to more paper use and additional postage and envelope costs for long invoices.

User Friendly Software

Pros

Experity software is very user friendly. I can easily check a patient in under 2 minutes.

Cons

I would really like it if we could scan an insurance card and have the information automatically populate the insurance sections. I wish we could make Experity entirely paperless so patients could simply enter their information on an iPad and it would instantly appear on our screen.

Pros

Pros

Experity is user-friendly with a clear and precise program. I like how customizable it is for each clinic. For billing, its very helpful to direct claims to specific work baskets and to load claims by insurance.

Cons

There are a few features I wish Experity had. For instance, I did like to have the option to edit or delete notes (at least on the day they are entered) and highlight specific things in the notes section. I also wish the workbasket screen would show the entire patient address.

Connecting Transworld ISSUE

Pros

For me, Experity is very user friendly. I can easily click to fill in other fields like addresses and phone numbers.

Cons

Experity is struggling to connect children with their guarantors which is preventing us from transferring bad debt to our Transworld Systems Bad Debt company. This issue has not been resolved yet and I have many childrens balances on hold because of it. Its very frustrating to wait for this issue to be addressed.

Great value and easy to use

Pros

I found it very easy to learn, especially on the EMR side. Our doctors rarely needed more than an hour of training. The price was also very reasonable, particularly since we bundled the system with the RCM product which offered great overall value.

Cons

I found the reporting functionality to be fairly limited. It worked for us with our four locations, but I did imagine it would be challenging to get appropriate reporting if we were to expand.

Solid EMR

Pros

It works well in an urgent care setting. It gets the job done and if set up correctly from the start, provides a simple easy to use EMR.

Cons

Many of the functionalities are not fully developed. Often, when I press a button nothing happens. If they could improve some of the features they hint at, it would be amazing. Plus the quality of customer support is very inconsistent.
