Scheduling is generally simple to work with and customizing things doesn't take much effort. The task section is especially useful for staying on top of patients and inventory and billing is very simple to handle.
Cons
That said we've run into far too many problems getting the schedules set up correctly for both practices. Write-offs can also be tricky at times especially when you need every charge on the account to be completely accurate.

Pros
managing patients is very simple and it's convenient being able to view different parts of their case in one place. The color coding for the appointment types is also really helpful because it makes it clear right away what kind of visit the patient is coming in for and what needs to be done.
Cons
A few of the tabs still seem unclear since they've never been used so it's hard to tell what their purpose is. There are also times when I'm entering information and the system suddenly jumps back to the previous screen which ends up deleting everything I had already typed in.

Scheduling patients is very convenient, entering patient payments is simple and the appointment calendar is a really helpful feature.
Cons
At times, it's difficult to track down and correct errors in patient accounts and I wish there were a way to see which user scheduled or canceled an appointment.

Being web-based is a big plus since we can log in and use it from pretty much anywhere. It would be even better if there were a mobile version especially for scheduling while away from the office during events.
Cons
The lack of customization is a real downside and the patient sign-in interface is awful to work with. We've also run into quite a few problems that still haven't been fixed or resolved for us.

Pros
Bringing in new patients is simple and I really appreciate being able to customize the schedule for every room in the practice.
Cons
Patient notes are harder to work with than they should be especially when trying to add extra notes for follow-up visits. Customizing the notes also takes a lot of time.

Insurance billing has been fantastic. The tasks and checklist features keep my team organized, on track and focused on exactly what needs to get done. There's also a wide range of reports that make it really helpful to monitor the overall health of the practice.
Cons
The patient files could be organized a bit better. It also takes a few weeks to really get familiar with all the tabs and understand what each function is for.

Scheduling patients and setting up care plans feels very simple. Rescheduling is simple, adding follow-up notes is quick and I really appreciate that the system automatically creates tasks when something comes up and doesn't get finished on time.
Cons
Editing and changing a SOAP note can be confusing. Since I'm an IC in the office where I work and I bill differently for Day 1 exams and X-rays, it was not very clear how to update both the notes and the charges properly.

Pros
Being able to use this as a clinician in different ways has been really helpful. It comes with plenty of options that work well whether you're a solo provider or running a multi-provider, multi-level practice. Another big plus is how much you can modify and customize whenever needed.
Cons
One downside is that the intake forms do not automatically fill in the patient information. It can also feel a bit confusing at the beginning but once you learn the basics, it becomes much easier to navigate.

Having the office workflow and insurance billing fully integrated is a big plus. Once everything is set up and you've learned the system, it's very user-friendly to work with.
Cons
A thing that's missing is a way to alert assistants when a patient needs to be rescheduled. I don't always have time to personally walk every patient out and pass that information along and because of that, around 30% of patients leave without making their next appointment if no one directs them. It would really help to have two small calendars on the travel card screen showing past visits plus a way to communicate future recommended visits to the CAs. It would also be useful if the recommended appointment appeared on the patient's profile when it's opened for payment or something similar.

Using it feels pretty simple and being able to build our own templates has been a big plus. That flexibility makes the system much more convenient to work with day to day.
Cons
Getting started took longer than I expected. The prep call didn't really give me much useful guidance and it took a while before I understood how to create notes properly.

Working with Genesis on the business side, I mainly interact with two reps as my primary contacts. From what I know about the software, it comes across as pretty simple and offers full integration for chiropractic payment systems, billing workflows, specialized reporting, scheduling and POS tracking. All of that seems to help clients operate their practices more efficiently while supporting profit and growth.
Cons
One thing I've noticed is that some of the clients using the software need more targeted training and a better understanding of the platform before they can really take advantage of everything the system is capable of.

Having everything integrated in one system, including scheduling, insurance and billing, has been really helpful and practical. The alerts are also very beneficial and add a lot of value to the overall workflow.
Cons
A few parts feel redundant and don't repopulate across other sections, like notes versus appointment notes. The note section is necessary but it really should be kept separate from all of the notes that BP auto-generates. The task area also doesn't feel very user-friendly.

This software includes just about everything you could possibly need or think of. The support and guidance I've gotten while learning it have been really valuable. Honestly without the people behind the software helping along the way, I think it would have been nearly impossible to figure out.
Cons

Customer support is consistently available whenever we need help which makes a big difference. Scheduling each patient is simple and the POS system is also a really useful part of the software.
Cons
One issue is that care plans do not sync with visits when patients check in. Because of that, we have to adjust appointments manually and that takes away from the office's overall efficiency.

Cons
