Complicated system

Pros

I consider it to be a well-rounded and complete system, ideal for managing clinical input as well as handling billing tasks. It covers all the necessary aspects.

Cons

Dealing with customer support has been incredibly tough for me. The user interface feels outdated and buggy, and I often experience frequent downtime. The system is complex, and updates seem to take a long time to roll out. It’s not easy for clinicians to use, as navigating reports is a challenge, and the lag times are excessive. The MIPS reporting features are also quite expensive. Integration with other systems has been problematic, and until last year, the system only worked well on Internet Explorer.

The eligibility tool makes my daily tasks much easier and more simple. It streamlines the process, helping me save time and reducing the complexity of the work I need to do.

Cons

The pricing is notably high compared to other software options.

Smooth use on desktops

Pros

After conducting thorough research and properly configuring it to resolve touchscreen issues, the system becomes much easier to use, particularly on all-in-one touchscreen desktops.

Cons

I ran into issues while using Internet Explorer and Windows 10, where functions like pinch-to-zoom and double-tap-to-zoom interfered with the software's usability. It took some time to figure out how to disable these features, especially with the changes across different Windows versions. Eventually, I found a solution by embedding a .css file with the required commands into the Accessibility settings of Internet Options. Once I did that, the software worked well without any accidental zooming.

Cloud-based EMR for specialties

Pros

I have found the system to be easy to learn and use, with smooth integration of third-party software. This makes it convenient for all managers and supervisors to access the same dashboard, ensuring everyone is on the same page and can work efficiently.

Cons

Currently, the software lacks customer support through email or phone, which has been a significant drawback. Training is essential, as some features can be quite confusing and difficult to navigate without proper guidance.

Simple to maneuver with CareTracker

Pros

Being able to log in from anywhere is really helpful. I can easily find records, print documents, and upload what I need. It's also simple to create templates and save favorites for later use, making everything much faster.

Cons

It's frustrating when the software constantly claims that I'm logged in on another screen, which happens quite frequently.

Pros

It's easy to use and understand, with different options to view and edit appointments. Plus, it has many useful features, like managing recalls and handling financing, making it a powerful tool for managing tasks.

Cons

Occasionally, the software glitches and doesn't support all its functions when accessed from home on personal computers.

Crucial evil in my job

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about the software is the variety of reports it offers. It provides different options to analyze and review data, which is very helpful.

Cons

The user interface is lacking. It lacks coherence feels disjointed and is difficult to learn. Overall using it is not enjoyable.

Great for healthcare environments

Pros

The staff find it easy to learn, and within just a few hours, they can go through the program with very little training.

Cons

I believe the window for managing provider schedules could be improved. Using colors to differentiate between types of appointments, such as pre-op or new patients, would help me avoid overbooking and improve the overall flow of the day.

Decent system, lacks functionality

Pros

With its easy-to-use interface, good layout and design, and the ability to work on the go with minimal downtime, I find it very simple to use. The pricing is fair, and it integrates smoothly with other products, adding to its overall convenience.

Cons

Dealing with billing has been challenging for me, and support can be quite slow. Many additional features are provided by third parties, and training on those features is difficult to use.

Poor customer service

Pros

I haven't come across anything particularly outstanding about this software or the services offered. Their scheduling module is similar to others in the industry, meeting the standard but not offering anything beyond what's expected.

Cons

Customer support has been abysmal for me. It took an excessively long time to receive pricing information and clarification on the software's capabilities. The delays in obtaining support, especially through intermediaries like McKesson, are extreme.

Frustrating experience

Pros

The clinical workflow is simple and easy to follow, and documenting correspondence is fast and smooth for me.

Cons

The system frequently experiences downtime, which is problematic when seeing numerous patients. New medication entries often appear in retrospective notes, making it difficult to track changes. Although the medication history feature was helpful at first, it now frequently generates error messages. The prescription software is not user-friendly and often sends prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy, leading to numerous patient calls. There are also recurring auto-signature issues, particularly with controlled substances. Overall, the system does not seem well-suited for a psychiatric practice and appears to be more tailored to medical practices.

Harris CareTracker: Effective billing and EMR solution

Pros

Since 2009, we have been using Harris CareTracker (formerly Optum PM & Physician EMR) for our billing RCM software as well as PM and EMR software for our clients. It has greatly improved our collections and reduced front-end denials to under 1%. The ease of use for both our staff and clients stands out compared to other software options we have researched.

Cons

I hope for faster turnaround times in building interfaces with other EMR software for clients who want to keep their current systems while integrating with our PM system for billing. While there have been some recent improvements, we expect faster progress in the future.

Pros

Its web-based nature allows us to keep working even when we're off-site or during server outages, ensuring no disruption to our workflow.

Cons

The recent changes are a bit confusing, and it will take me some time to familiarize myself with the new layout.

Great dashboard

Pros

I appreciate its ease of use, fingerprint technology, versatility, great dashboard, reporting capabilities, and its ability to work even when the internet is down.

Cons

I've noticed that hardware costs can be pretty high, especially when adding special features to the system.
