Promising system, but I wouldn't recommend it

Pros

The price of the software is quite reasonable as compared to most options out there, and also I love that I can customize templates that fit exactly what I need for my documents.

Cons

When we were using HelloNote, the customer service team was pretty small, mostly made up of just one person like I believe he was the main point of contact. At the time, HelloNote did not have the reporting and business features we needed, and we often faced glitches that caused clinicians to lose their work. We eventually decided to switch to a different EMR company, but even two years later, HelloNote still hasn't figured out a way to migrate our company's data so we can close our account. They told us to manually download every note, file and financial record, but even after doing that, it still does not capture everything we need. So, we're still paying a monthly fee just to access our data in case we need it for an audit or anything else. There is definitely potential in their system but until they fix the data migration issue, I can't recommend HelloNote.

Easy to use and helpful

Pros

With HelloNote it is very easy to handle documentation and bring over notes from before, which saves me a lot of time. I can also create individual billing, keep track of it and even make invoices and super bills without any hassle.

Cons

One con that I have noticed is extra steps are required to record payments.

Proven to be a game-changer for us

Pros

HelloNote has been an absolute lifesaver for my medical office. It has allowed me to streamline the entire documentation process. All I had to do was set up the software and it did all the work for me. I also appreciate that I can provide my patients with a secure portal to access their records, which has helped improve communication between us.

Cons

The only downside is that there are some features that arent as intuitive as they could be. For example, I had some issues with setting up the appointment reminders. However, customer support was quick to respond and help me out with any problems I had.

A perfect solution for staying organized

Pros

HelloNote is an incredibly useful tool for organizing all of my patient records in one place. I always used to have trouble with generating custom reports and tracking patient data, but this software has made it much easier. Additionally, the secure portal is great for keeping patients informed about their appointments without having to send out manual reminders.

Cons

The only downside to this software is that it can be a bit complex for novice users. There was this instance where I wanted to add an additional field to my reports but didnt quite understand how the software worked. The customer support team helped me out, but it took a few days for them to do so.

HelloNote - The ideal choice

Pros

Overall, we have really enjoyed using HelloNote as our EMR. It is super easy to use and I love that it combines everything in one place like billing, faxing, email and text appointment reminders. Plus I also like EMR templates and other features.

Cons

Sometimes, I have experienced glitches where information doesn't save properly, and I end up losing data between sessions.

Excellent support - Really happy with the product

Pros

HelloNote is fairly easy to use and the support team has been amazing too. I have been really happy with this product. Plus I have already recommended it to several other therapists and will definitely keep recommending it.

Cons

I wish the billing integration was a bit better. I know they have updated this feature since I first signed on but it's still not quite where I did like it to be.

HelloNote is great

Pros

This is excellent documentation software. It's easy to use and offers great customer support. I was even assigned a mentor to guide me through it, and there are good tutorials on their website as well. Plus it is perfect for small businesses since the pricing is super reasonable.

Cons

Reliable software with great customer support

Pros

I have enjoyed using HelloNote for as far as I can remember. I run a solo practice with only a few non-technical assistants so everything related to patient management was done by me alone. While the load was manageable, it was still difficult to do everything simultaneously. HelloNote has reduced the strain on my back and takes care of all the billing, document handling and more. The best thing is I don’t have to google every time I run into an issue, I can just reach out to the customer support. And there is always a live rep available instead of an automated response which makes the support even better.

Cons

I still appreciate how easy it has made practice management for me because it really has. But the pricing is very unreasonable. Considering I’m just one person using this software, the price tag is very hefty. I cannot even think about hiring an admin assistant or adding a user to HelloNote which would increase the price I have to pay every month. The features it offers are somewhat worthy enough of the price they charge, but it’s ultimately your budget that decides whether to continue using this software or move to another one.

I used HelloNote for a year, and it was great for starting my practice! Integrating the fax was amazing, and billing to Medicare was not a hassle anymore. It was very intuitive and affordable for my new practice - I would recommend it to anyone just starting out and looking for an EMR.

Cons

Made our work life simple

Pros

HelloNote is a great solution for streamlining the documentation process in my clinic. It has saved me time by automating many of the tasks that used to take up my time. The patient portal not only helped me to communicate more effectively with patients, but it also enabled me to provide them with a secure way to access their records.

Cons

There were some obvious bugs that took a while to fix. Additionally, the software was not as customizable as I would have liked it to be. The customer support team were helpful in trying to find solutions for me but were unable to provide a permanent fix.

I started using HelloNote due to recommendations from other professionals in my field. The software is incredibly user-friendly and has definitely made managing patient records easier. I honestly think HelloNote is one of the easiest practice management software programs I've ever used. They have done a great job improving their note templates and now they are so streamlined and packed with smart features. I especially love how it brings everything together in one place, like patient monitoring, billing and medical record documentation, which has really boosted my productivity.

Cons

As far as I know, there’s no real method to download a document or attachment directly into a particular note as opposed to saving it to the main document download area. That would be a fantastic improvement over what is currently possible.

Pros

The staff here is amazing. Not only they're knowledgeable but also really patient. Adding patient info and scheduling appointments with HelleNote is really easy too. Plus it is all so smooth and easy to handle.

Cons

When documenting an initial evaluation is somewhat difficult and I feel like some sections could be a bit easier for therapists to fill out when writing their findings. It would help make the process smoother.

Among all the software I have used, HELLONOTE stands out

Pros

As an OTR, I spent months researching good documentation software for my rehab company. Another OTR introduced me to HELLONOTE after I shared my experience with a different software. What I love most about HELLONOTE is the customer service and the staff's knowledge about specific inquiries. The staff members are prompt in replying to questions and are always pleasant via the "help" on the screen, phone, or email. HELLONOTE is the best software I've ever used in the rehab industry. It was created by skilled therapists who are knowledgeable about the latest updates for good documentation and preventing insurance denials. It's very easy to use, and the step-by-step video trainings make learning the system simple. It includes the latest CMS and other regulations for documentation and billing compliance. HelloNote also has wonderful features that reduce stress and improve time management, like autosave, data population/carry over, outgoing eFax, and custom template creation. Plus, system updates allow customers to send feedback to the support team for periodic updates. It's very affordable!

Cons

My dislikes are very minor. I hope in the future, once I enter the time in the patient's schedule event for a visit, it will carry over to the note page. Currently, I have to manually re-enter the date and time on the note page. The billing setup with other intermediaries could be improved, but aside from that, the HELLONOTE TEAM is very supportive to its customers.

Nothing but a positive experience

As a new physical therapy practice owner, using HelloNote has proven to be a game-changer for me. I have worked with a lot of EMR software throughout my career but I never felt a need to be both the end user and the administrator of such software. But the HelloNote support team was so amazing super responsive to all my questions and concerns, right from the onboarding process up until now that I changed my mind and It has almost a year now am using this product They recently upgraded their note templates, and I love how easy they are to use with their intuitive features. Plus, it's so convenient that it combines medical record documentation, billing and patient tracking all in one place, which has made my workflow so much more efficient.

Cons

To my knowledge, there is no way to attach a document directly into a specific note rather than saving it to the general document download area. That would be a great upgrade to current capabilities.

Huge fan of HelloNote

To be honest I can't recommend HelloNote enough! The team has been absolutely amazing in helping me navigate the process of running my own business. When I started, I had zero experience with billing and it was honestly pretty scary. But I decided to go for it and chose HelloNote for all my EMR needs and it turned out to be the best decision I have made. What really stands out about HelloNote is how they treat you. They don't make you feel like just another customer; they treat you like a colleague. I have reached out to them with questions even with ones they have already gone over before and they're always there with support and guidance. I have had the best experience with HelloNote and even though I have not worked with other EMR companies as an owner, I can't imagine getting this kind of experience anywhere else. Plus the software is so simple to use and it's been a perfect fit for my needs.
