“Great for medical practice
Pros
iClinic software is quite good. Billing and other features are simple enough for physicians to use and understand without any hassle. Overall it is easy to use mainly when it comes to billing tasks, posting payments and stuff like that.
Cons
I feel like there is room for improvement not only in the reporting panel but also in the financial reports section.

“Allows to get healthcare guidance at home
Pros
I like that it connects me with doctors in India which is really helpful for getting advice on medical issues. And while they might not always be able to fully solve the problem, it's still worth giving it a shot for the support and guidance they provide.
Cons
One thing that was quite disappointing was that they did not honor their money-back guarantee.

“Excellent for reporting and easy to use
Pros
It is quite user-friendly especially when it comes to quality reporting. Plus it covers most of the quality measures and programs we need. What I really like is that they are always working to improve and make things more efficient for providers like us to meet quality requirements and handle reporting easily. MDLand even listens to feedback from providers and uses it to make the platform better, which is quite impressive.
Cons
When the system is updating, I have noticed that it often leads to delays and slowdowns. Also there is room for improvement in some areas.

“Multi-purpose tool
Pros
I've been using this app since 2013 and it is honestly a great multifunctional tool. As a medical practitioner, I just love how easy it is to access and search for patients medical histories. Plus, the billing and accounting features are quite efficient. And being cloud-based is another big win since I can access it from anywhere and that just adds to how practical it is.
Cons
It is good but a bit on the expensive side. And at times my account gets stuck and I have to log out and back in to fix it. Plus finding documents can also be a bit tricky at times which causes frustration.

“Ideal for small and solo practices
Pros
Before switching to MDLand We were using a cheaper EMR which failed to meet our requirements. However after our switch we are quite happy with our choice. Not only it worth the cost but is also so much more efficient and saves us a lot of time. Also with it it is way easier to keep track of money flow. It is highly user-friendly and switching between tasks is not a hassle anymore. What we love the most is the billing and accounting system as it's so easy. The billing system lets us view office visit notes right on the sidebar, making it simple to check payment statuses and adjust claims when needed. Managing office visit notes and PE is also easy, with plenty of templates that save a ton of time. On top of all that, their customer service is excellent which makes the whole experience even better.
Cons
Downloading and uploading patient information is a time-consuming task and finding specific diagnoses may prove challenging. Also I feel like visibility into medication history and refill information needs improvement. Plus a generalized consent form for office procedures is suggested.

“Billing feature is my fav....
Pros
Documenting charts is so easy with this software. As a care physician, I often need to look up patients previous medical information and iClinic makes that process so simple. I have been using other EMRs since 2003 but I decided to switch to MDLand, and am so glad I made that decision. Another feature I absolutely love is the billing as it makes managing bills a super simple. Honestly, I couldn't be happier with how much easier this software has made my work.
Cons
I switched because the program keeps improving which is great however at times it means it needs a few adjustments along the way.

Pros
The support staff is very knowledgeable, as they always follow through and get back to me with answers. Whether it's something on the clinical side or the business side of the program, they have got everything covered.

“Could be better
Pros
Provides amazing support and is quite easy to use which enhances our user experience.
Cons
Accounting function is not the best. Plus I found the report formatting were too bad compared to other platforms even though it has a lot of details. And it seems like the design changes don't seem to be made with the user in mind which make things hard to read. Honestly, the person in charge of these changes could probably use a week of 8-hour days just to get a better sense of what works, instead of picking right colors.

“Works well but has limited features
Pros
iClinic stands out to me for its user-friendly design and it is quite easy to learn even for beginners. Additionally the price of it is quite reasonable as compared to other systems, and its suitability for meaningful use attestation adds to its appeal.
Cons
Honeslty it feels like the billing part has done later as it doesn't have many of the typical reporting functions we did expect. Plus there are a ton of steps just to get credit for meaningful use measures. Secure messaging often fails to go through, which is really frustrating. On top of that there are extra charges for secure email and fax pages through the system.

“Served us well
Pros
Making appointments and printing reports is very easy with MDLand. Also it is really simple to enter patients demographics and for ophthalmology patients. And it even has sections for refractions, intraocular pressures and current glasses. Moroever I love that I can access it from anywhere since it's cloud-based. Overall, I think its a great value for an EMR. Plus it is easy to learn, and the color-coding of appointments is a nice touch and makes everything easier to keep track of.
Cons
I really wish it was easier to use. It feels like you have to click through a bunch of places to find things like internal notes. Sometimes the internal notes even get altered while I am trying to navigate. Plus I feel like it would be so much better if there were automatic text messages and emails for appointment reminders. Also, when am inputting information about a patients medical history, I have to click around a lot just to add or delete things. Finding medications is a struggle too as they should keep a history of the meds our practice uses. Lastly, it would be great if it were linked to the American Academy of Ophthalmology so we could connect to the register for Macra/MIPS.

“Great value for money and fully customizable
Pros
Offers the best value for its cost. Plus it is very much liked by us because of its user-friendly interface and customization options. Moreover key features such as inventory management and robust billing and accounting capabilities eliminate the need for external billing services which even makes it a cost-effective solution.
Cons
One thing I have noticed that the system has periodic downtimes for maintenance, but the good thing is that they usually happen during non-working hours, so it's not too disruptive. One more thing I have had to adjust to is how it behaves differently on various browsers, so I have had to make a few changes to get used to that.

Pros
I love that I can access it from anywhere and on any computer. Moreover customer support is really responsive which makes the whole experience even better. And most of the features are pretty simple, so it was overall easy to understand and use.
Cons
It takes a bit too long to download and upload patient information, which I did not expect. Also at times I fail to find the diagnosis I'm looking for. Moreover it is not easy to figure out when medications were sent or how many refills a patient has. It would be really helpful if they could add a general consent form for procedures performed in the office.

“Great EMR system
Pros
As per my journey I found the software pretty comprehensive, and it works really well once it's all set up. The features for easy visit documentation and billing, which are included in the monthly fee definitely make it more appealing. Plus the support staff is also really responsive, and I've been impressed with how well it handles referral letter management and document uploads.
Cons
There is no written manual even though they provide training when we first start using it which helps. If you run into any issues or have questions, you will need to ask the staff for help. To prescribe controlled substances, you have to use a third-party 2 factor authentication, which can be a bit of a hassle. Also the pharmacy search function is pretty slow.
