I really enjoy how interconnected everything is in this software. From emails to phone numbers, and even identifying potential family members through registration details, it's all seamlessly linked. I appreciate the convenience of accessing a patient's chart and immediately emailing or texting them, with records of all our conversations stored.
Cons
I find it inconvenient that there's no "back" button. Adjusting to this program has been challenging because I can't navigate back to the previous screen easily. It took me some time to realize that I always need to check the upper right corner for the patient's name to confirm their identity.

Pros
After using Dentrix for over a decade, I switched to iDentalSoft and it has surpassed all my expectations. It's incredibly intuitive and the customer service is exceptional. They promptly address any concerns I have. The software includes fantastic features like appointment reminders, reviews, and iChat all in one place.
Cons
I'm a big fan of identalsoft, so I really don't have any complaints. My experience with it has been excellent.

The support is amazing, always friendly, courteous, and respectful. If they can't resolve an issue immediately, they make sure it's fixed the next day. Their follow-up is excellent and they customize their support to fit my needs as they evolve.
Cons
There are quite a few places to write notes, back notes, chart notes, claim notes as with any software, there's a learning curve to the logic and sequence of charting. It took me a while to adapt to the software's way of thinking. Integration with intra-oral cameras seems slow or lags.

This software is exactly what we needed. It's easy to navigate, which makes training new staff a breeze. The doctors appreciate how easy charting is, and the e-billing feature is fantastic for sending out patient bills instantly.
Cons
We enjoy sending mail blasts to our patients with different colored fonts and pictures in the body of the email. Unfortunately, we can't do this yet with iDentalSoft.

I absolutely love how everything is integrated within iDentalSoft. Gone are the days of switching between different applications! Now, I can handle everything emails, texts, downloads, payments, transactions, eligibility checks, and claims updates, all seamlessly within the program.
Cons
I wish we could receive an audio notification when a patient text comes in, but the red screen alert works fine too. I've tried to find other faults and couldn't come up with anything else at this time.

Cons
It was a terrible experience. We consistently struggled with the x-rays bridging. The software is overly simplistic to a fault. The reporting was inadequate, and my end-of-day numbers were always off. My biggest frustration was with the dental insurance; the software never estimated benefits correctly. Even after speaking with support, they couldn't resolve it. Honestly, this software is best suited for small fee-for-service practices.

Cons
It's frustrating that there's no scrolling ability with reports, name searches, or anything that spans multiple pages. We have to keep clicking "next" to move forward. It's a bit annoying when dealing with last names starting with "A," for example, and trying to get to those starting with "M"; you have to keep clicking or try to guess the page number to move ahead faster.
