Idental soft representative review (5 star)

Pros

I really enjoy how interconnected everything is in this software. From emails to phone numbers, and even identifying potential family members through registration details, it's all seamlessly linked. I appreciate the convenience of accessing a patient's chart and immediately emailing or texting them, with records of all our conversations stored.

Cons

I find it inconvenient that there's no "back" button. Adjusting to this program has been challenging because I can't navigate back to the previous screen easily. It took me some time to realize that I always need to check the upper right corner for the patient's name to confirm their identity.

Best dental software

Pros

After using Dentrix for over a decade, I switched to iDentalSoft and it has surpassed all my expectations. It's incredibly intuitive and the customer service is exceptional. They promptly address any concerns I have. The software includes fantastic features like appointment reminders, reviews, and iChat all in one place.

Cons

I'm a big fan of identalsoft, so I really don't have any complaints. My experience with it has been excellent.

Pros

The responsiveness and willingness to answer any questions have been excellent. Customer service is particularly wonderful and always has a solution ready for me.

Cons

The font in legger is a bit hard to read and understand, but other than that, everything else is fantastic.

Pros

Integration is simple, and the transition from CareStack, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft has been seamless.

Cons

There's no way to enter the pre-D for insurance predetermination per procedure code.

Pros

I really appreciate the availability and accessibility of the help desk, they're always there for me and provide great assistance.

Cons

Moving between different parts of the program is not seamless. I don't like that I have to check a patient out first before connecting a new appointment to an existing one.

Pros

The customer service at IDS was outstanding, they were consistently available to help our office whenever needed.

Cons

Overall good product with needed improvements.

Pros

Having all patient charts, scheduling, and x-rays integrated into one software has been incredibly efficient.

Cons

It's frustrating that I can't select individual x-rays from the FMX and have them labeled.

Pros

The support is amazing, always friendly, courteous, and respectful. If they can't resolve an issue immediately, they make sure it's fixed the next day. Their follow-up is excellent and they customize their support to fit my needs as they evolve.

Cons

There are quite a few places to write notes, back notes, chart notes, claim notes as with any software, there's a learning curve to the logic and sequence of charting. It took me a while to adapt to the software's way of thinking. Integration with intra-oral cameras seems slow or lags.

Pros

Great support and software

Pros

iDentalSoft is easy to navigate and not overly complex, making it easy to train new staff. It provides all the necessary features for dental management, and we're very satisfied with it.

Cons

iDentalSoft lacks a robust offering for developing lists. If we need a list that's not available, iDentalSoft support creates it for us from the backend, and they're very responsive.

Must Get Dental Software

Pros

This software is exactly what we needed. It's easy to navigate, which makes training new staff a breeze. The doctors appreciate how easy charting is, and the e-billing feature is fantastic for sending out patient bills instantly.

Cons

We enjoy sending mail blasts to our patients with different colored fonts and pictures in the body of the email. Unfortunately, we can't do this yet with iDentalSoft.

Great product. The support is amazing.

Pros

The product design is excellent, and the support staff is amazing. If I have a question during the day, I can call and get immediate help, unlike other companies where I had to wait for scheduled sessions.

Cons

Best purchase we have ever made.

Pros

I love this software, it's relatively easy to use, set up, and access patient information on the go. The support is outstanding, always resolving any issues promptly and continuously improving.

Cons

There's not much to improve, and every time I encounter an issue, they provide a solution. The only suggestion I have is to enhance verification capabilities with Medicaid/Medicare insurance companies, but that's a minor issue. I consider this software an excellent purchase.

It has brought about a notable simplification in the management of our practice, streamlining various administrative tasks and enhancing overall efficiency in our operations.

THE BILLING DOESN'T GO DIRECTLY TO THE INSURANCE COMPANIES' PORTAL; IT GOES THROUGH A CLEARINGHOUSE. INSTEAD OF BEING PAID IN 2-3 DAYS, WE END UP WAITING 21-30 DAYS. THIS IS A BIG ISSUE FOR ME. IF THIS IS FIXED, OUR PRACTICE CAN GET PAID PROMPTLY IN A TIMELY AND EFFICIENT MANNER, INSTEAD OF HAVING THE MONEY TIED UP FOR 21-30 DAYS. PLEASE ADDRESS THIS TO MAKE IT THE BEST SOFTWARE ON THE MARKET.

Wonderful cloud based Practice Management Platform for one or multiple offices and clinics

Pros

The availability of a cloud-based and hybrid cloud platform is incredibly versatile for dental practices of any size. It integrates easily with other dental sensors, has an intuitive learning curve for staff, and excellent scalability for additional iDentalSoft features.

Cons

The constant addition of features to the software is great, although I haven't had time to consistently explore them. A monthly newsletter for updated features or additional services would be wonderful.

The nuts and bolts of IDentalSoft...

Pros

I absolutely love how everything is integrated within iDentalSoft. Gone are the days of switching between different applications! Now, I can handle everything emails, texts, downloads, payments, transactions, eligibility checks, and claims updates, all seamlessly within the program.

Cons

I wish we could receive an audio notification when a patient text comes in, but the red screen alert works fine too. I've tried to find other faults and couldn't come up with anything else at this time.

Transitioning was easy, especially with detailed online video sessions and personalized 1-on-1 live support. The company ensured our staff was well-prepared before and after the software transition.

Cons

The developer should include a field on the appointment detail page to show the patient's next scheduled appointment, such as their scheduled recall date, for continuity of care.

Excellent dental software

Pros

It is effortless. The tech support was incredibly patient and guided me through all the nuances of using the software. They were understanding, even when I needed to go through processes multiple times until I got the hang of it.

Very Disappointing

Pros

Initially, we were drawn to the software because of its pricing, which is very competitive. The vibrant interface also adds a pleasant touch.

Cons

It was a terrible experience. We consistently struggled with the x-rays bridging. The software is overly simplistic to a fault. The reporting was inadequate, and my end-of-day numbers were always off. My biggest frustration was with the dental insurance; the software never estimated benefits correctly. Even after speaking with support, they couldn't resolve it. Honestly, this software is best suited for small fee-for-service practices.

Great product and outstanding support

Pros

As a busy dental office, we needed a smooth transition when switching software. The entire staff found the software very user-friendly and fast, providing easy access to all the information needed for comprehensive patient care.

Cons

It's frustrating that there's no scrolling ability with reports, name searches, or anything that spans multiple pages. We have to keep clicking "next" to move forward. It's a bit annoying when dealing with last names starting with "A," for example, and trying to get to those starting with "M"; you have to keep clicking or try to guess the page number to move ahead faster.
