Major Upgrade for our practice

Pros

InSyncs flexibility allows practices to tailor it to their specific needs with critical functionalities such as a patient portal and automation of routine tasks greatly improving efficiency.

Cons

Due to its tailored nature, the software requires extensive setup time. Although the abundance of settings and options can be overwhelming initially familiarity with the systems patterns and shortcuts eventually pays off.

Setting it up was tough

Pros

Integration and implementation presented challenges worsened by an inadequate specialist. However a switch to a better specialist improved our experience significantly.

Cons

The coding system doesn't meet our complex practice needs resulting in billing inaccuracies and dissatisfaction from payers. We require a more robust tracking system for invoices specific to each service.

Pros

Support team provided the programs development details properly as they understands our practices needs and providing valuable suggestions. Their responsiveness to changes and patient approach during training were commendable.

Cons

We encountered difficulties understanding provider tiers and faced unexpected costs for additional features. Communication with third-party vendors could have been better but ultimately we overcame these challenges and the system now functions as intended.

Extreme drop in service after switch to Qualifacts

Pros

Post-acquisition by Qualifacts the previously satisfactory EHR and RCM support declined significantly.

Cons

We found the RCM team lacking in support and assistance.

Pros

InSyncs customizability report running abilities and various modules such as Post Hospitalization and Federal Probation and Parole are appreciated. Working with Jenn was a positive experience despite challenges.

Cons

While many modules/functions work independently integration within the system is lacking necessitating workarounds and compromises. Customization options are limited for certain features such as the ASAM. Clearer communication between departments is essential to avoid misunderstandings.

As a pediatric therapy clinic accustomed to our own record system InSync seamlessly accommodated our documentation needs. Any features lacking were swiftly addressed or incorporated resulting in a more efficient system tailored to our requirements.

Cons

Regarding scheduling my focus lies more on clinical documentation. Initially there were efficiency concerns especially for multi-clinic locations but prompt adjustments were made to address them.

Buyer beware!

Pros

While not particularly exciting InSyncs high level of customization sets it apart although this aspect is common among similar systems. Additionally their pricing model offers diminishing costs over time.

Cons

Despite a significant investment returning the software license proved impossible. Dealing with their customer support team for a refund was fruitless leaving our small company in a challenging position.

Exceptional implementation work

Pros

Transitioning to Insync was smoother than we anticipated at the start. The implementation team was very helpful in walking us through the whole process. The software is very easy to use. Requires little to no former tech experience whatsoever. The implementation team was very efficient in setting up the system according to our requirements. I am very pleased with its overall performance. Very nice.

Cons

It took us a little time to adjust the system to our residential practice because the software is originally designed to cater to outpatient services. We wanted to replace all of our outdated software, but the system does not offer advanced reporting features.

Amazing company to partner with.

Pros

Customer support at InSync is always quick to respond and can either answer our questions or point us in the right direction. The sales team is amazing and always available to answer any questions or concerns that I or a new provider joining InSync might have. We have been assigned to a specific support agent who is extremely knowledgeable about our industry. They have had a positive experience.

Cons

Although there are many good aspects to the system, one of the recent issues has been the system going down suddenly, which has impacted not only our billing capacities but also our providers access to schedulers and EMR. Another issue is that InSync does not currently accept all areas of expertise.

An affordable and great software.

Pros

We needed applications that could be tailored to fulfill all of the different criteria we have for our various contracts and accreditation for our broad mental health practice (60+ providers). That is indeed what we have been looking for. It is extremely user-friendly and has greatly increased the quality of our practice. Were already using InSyncs RCM (billing) services...so far, impressive, very nice!

Cons

There may be a few small and minor things that would improve our workflows, but since we identified them, InSync added them to their list of requests for product improvements. For example, wed love to be able to use the product to send out Client Satisfaction Surveys, but this isnt currently possible.
