provides same-day real person support

Pros

Being able to speak with a real person the same day I have a question has been an absolute game changer for our practice! It is largely the reason we're choosing to move our operations over to Jane.

Cons

There is really only one issue for us which is that the software doesn't include an appointment counter. As a physical therapy clinic, I need a built-in way to prevent scheduling a patient beyond the number of visits they've been approved for, otherwise we risk overbooking.

practical but lacks billing tools

Pros

The scheduling features are highly practical. Also the interface is user friendly and easy to pick up.

Cons

Billing system lacked familiar tools from traditional EMR software, forcing many tasks to be done manually. This slowed our invoicing workflow and required extra oversight.

has everything needed for remote clinic

Pros

It provided everything I needed to run my remote clinic as a solo practitioner and whenever I had questions it was easy to track down the answers I needed.

Cons

My only wish was that the app's calendar would automatically adapt to different time zones for me.

Really impressed with quick support

Pros

I have been really impressed with how quick the customer support is as whenever I have a question I can shoot them an email and consistently get a helpful, personal reply from an actual person.

Cons

Setting up the front-end to create chart notes felt overwhelming at first but other users have shared hundreds of templates that make the process manageable. So I also find it easy to continually tweak and improve those templates.

allows booking appointments online

Pros

One thing i really like is that I can book my appointments online with this app. it makes the whole process quick and simple and I can cancel my booking through the app if I end up not being able to attend.

Cons

When I need to cancel within 24 hours, I'm required to call the clinic instead of handling the cancellation directly in the app.

Really user-friendly with helpful staff

Pros

The app is really user-friendly, the staff are genuinely helpful and the reporting tools work well.

Cons

I wish the external payment terminal integration was not limited to only Jane terminals. I'd find it much more useful if it could link directly with outside providers like Square and others to simplify payments.

Clear and very user-friendly layout

The layout is clear and it is very user-friendly. It also looks professional and clean.

user-friendly with customizable charts

Pros

I'm very impressed by how smooth and user-friendly everything feels. The charts are customizable and the overall interface is very attractive.

Cons

The only thing that bothers me is that I can't change the interface colors. It feels like such an odd omission for a small detail to be missing but otherwise I'm absolutely thrilled with it.

Single comprehensive platform for counseling

Pros

I have been using Jane for my counselling practice because it is a single, comprehensive platform that keeps client data secure and confidential, while also offering built-in video tools for remote sessions.

Cons

The only thing is that I feel like the mobile app could be more reliable and responsive. As for now it does not always perform as smoothly as the desktop version.

Well I like talking to a real person and the representative who is working with me comes across as warm and takes the time to answer all my questions in detail

Cons

Being unable to link with any external exercise programming tool aside from Physitrack is something I find frustrating

Add and change access permissions easily

Pros

I like that I can add and change access permissions for practitioners, admins and individual users using the available options.

Cons

Incredibly helpful support

Pros

From the moment I launched my new clinic, the support team has been incredibly helpful. I've relied on their support throughout the setup. Just having them available has eased so much stress in my day to day and I am genuinely grateful for their consistent help, thank you so much!

Cons

It doesn't offer any AI integration at the moment and on top of that I have to shell out extra money if I want the invoicing add-on enabled.

Pros

The interface is user friendly and I like that I could manage both client appointments and practitioner schedules together in a single unified platform.

Cons

There are no significant negatives to mention from my side. Since our use focused on booking salon appointments, we rarely used the charts function, though I recognize it would likely be valuable for other sectors like medical or therapy practices.

great template library!

Pros

Navigation and deployment were pretty simple and I really liked the template library. As it made sharing templates with other practitioners simple, plus I could easily check what colleagues were using.

Cons

I discovered it did not support the functionality required to submit insurance claims or handle ERA processing which was a significant limitation for my workflow.

Smooth onboarding with phenomenal support

Pros

We onboarded this tool about a month ago and the whole transition went smoothly. I compare it to the Y2K scare as everyone was anxious at first, but in the end things ran fine. Their customer support has been phenomenal. Everyone I have dealt with has been deeply knowledgeable and when they were not sure about something, they took the time to investigate and got back to me promptly.

Cons

Honestly I dont have anything bad to report about the platform or the people behind it. There are a few features, bells and whistles I'd like to see added, but they appear receptive to suggestions and seem committed to refining and enhancing their system based on user feedback.
