Smooth transition with the best support

Pros

I'm really happy that ClinicSites has now become Jane Website. The best thing is that transition felt smooth and I find their customer support fantastic!

Cons

Initially billing individual clients within a group appointment was confusing. However I liked that customer support patiently guided me through each step of the process.

Amazing customer support experience

Pros

Customer support was amazing as I had a very positive interaction with them. Although I presented an unexpected error of my own, they tried to assist immediately. While they could not resolve it fully on the first try, still offered to call me back and promised that if the call didn't fix it, they would email me step by step instructions. I missed the return call but they followed up as promised with detailed, step by step instructions that included screenshots. By following the guidance, I was able to fix the issue. Their patience and thoroughness made the entire process much less stressful than anticipated. So yes I am very grateful for the support provided.

Cons

We faced a separate issue unrelated to that call. To add direct billing/e-claims for our patients, we were essentially required to upgrade to a more expensive package and then faced additional upcharges. The intention was to accommodate patients who were declining appointments because we did not offer direct billing. However this change became a costly hurdle instead. For a small clinic like ours which is still building its patient base during a challenging phase, this was very disappointing and felt like a significant setback.

offers the best support

Pros

What impresses me most is their consistently excellent customer support. Whenever I'm unsure about things like setting up an employee's commission rate or processing a refund, their email responses are very thorough and often include embedded tutorial videos so I can watch exactly what to do step by step.

Cons

That said, I wish the price were slightly lower. While it is not overly expensive, our practice must keep overhead as low as possible, so even a small reduction would be very helpful.

Very satisfied!

Pros

I am very satisfied with the pricing as it is affordable and I like how easy it is to schedule appointments for my clients. The support team is excellent too. The insurance billing process is also simple and the platform being cloud-based adds a major layer of convenience.

Cons

To me several features feel poorly implemented and I find there is considerable customization required before the platform becomes usable. It functions straight away in many cases but it might not precisely meet my needs.

User-friendly for high student turnover clinic

Pros

At our school clinic, we run Jane across twelve treatment rooms and bring in between forty and sixty new students each year. This level of turnover means we spend significant time teaching students how the software works but I find it user-friendly enough for this purpose. Our team also values the responsive customer support and the regular system updates that introduce genuinely helpful features. Plus whether using the Clinic Manager view, Client interface or Practitioner screen, booking and managing appointments feels easy for most newcomers even for my older clients, who often find technology challenging. The automated notifications, reminder emails and SMS alerts are especially useful when onboarding so many new users and clients each year.

Cons

I have identified two administrative pain points. The Payments batches are fixed and cannot be customized and the reporting function tends to remove UTM tracking data. These issues are more problematic for our internal bookkeeping and administration than for our clients day to day experience. Since payment batching can span multiple service days, charges from the same date can be split across separate batches depending on the clinic's hours. For those who understand UTM parameters, the loss of this data is significant for specific workflows, even if most front-line users do not notice its absence in daily operations.

Impressed with value and friendly support

Pros

I have been impressed by how much value I'm getting for the price and the support team is friendly and quick to respond. During upgrades, I received clear updates and the interface is excellent with handy note-keeping features.

Cons

Well fixes sometimes took longer than I expected and repeating the same troubleshooting steps annoyed our users on occasion. Though appointment management works very well, but it would be even better if it could merge two or more slots.

Powerful and user-friendly feature set

Pros

Jane offers a powerful set of features. It is incredibly user-friendly, with a great interface that simplifies training new staff. I am particularly impressed with the online booking portal, which allows patients to easily select and manage their appointment types and times. Additionally it streamlines note-taking and clinical documentation. The best thing is that all of this is available at a fair monthly rate that scales with the number of providers, offering excellent value.

Cons

Insurance billing felt somewhat clunky for us initially, though we later switched to operating as a cash-only clinic and that change completely removed this issue for our team.

Best scheduling software available

Pros

When it comes to scheduling software, I am convinced it is the best option available. Booking appointments is incredibly simple and user friendly. New team members pick it up fast and I have seen many of them handling scheduling solo within just their first few shifts.

Cons

Some of the reporting features don't suit a larger setup like ours. The Accounts Receivable report is particularly frustrating to use as it is hard to navigate and when I click into an account it shows all outstanding balances without any way to filter by the age of charges.

Really fond of platform look and integration

Pros

I am really fond of how the platform looks and I like the smooth Claim MD integration. Also support responds quickly and the provider documentation is simple and easy to follow.

Cons

The client portal could use some improvements. For example when users sign in with Google or Apple instead of their username, the system creates duplicate accounts and fails to transfer their appointment and billing details which causes confusion. Also managing family accounts needs further refinement.

Pros

The interface is user-friendly and the ability to copy and expand on previous records significantly speeds up the process of documenting patient information.

Cons

While I think it is a solid EMR tool, I wish it offered integration with photo apps and built-in staff management features like sales tracking and employee clock-in functionality that competing products provide.

im impressed but pricing is high

Pros

I am quite impressed by how user friendly it is and that it includes pretty much every feature I'd expect. I especially like the direct billing option and online appointment booking and it is simple to build forms and keep my schedule organized.

Cons

As a sole practitioner, I find the pricing setup incredibly annoying because it feels geared toward larger clinics and I am left feeling like it's meant for big practices rather than someone working solo.

Dependable and easy to set up

Pros

Its dependability and ease of setup are what I like most. Plus I find the dual email and SMS alerts useful and value that it automatically sends confirmations to my customers.

Cons

My biggest complaint is the very limited options for customization and the whole thing feels outdated. And the user interface becomes particularly hard to manage if I offer more than 5+ services per practitioner.

Keep things organized for us

Pros

I like being able to keep things organized, bill clients right within the system and text or email customers straight from their profiles, it makes following up so much easier.

Cons

Setting up the clinic was a lengthy process for me. Some tasks felt excessively long and complex but ultimately, switching to this program proved to be beneficial.

Pretty easy to use as a client

Pros

Jane app is pretty easy to use. As a client I'm able to view what's available and easily see exactly who I'm booking with before confirming appointments.

Cons

One thing I like least about it is how easy it is to accidentally choose the wrong service type. On several occasions I've ended up booking initial appointments more than once without realizing it.

Really user-friendly

Pros

Really user-friendly as I can use it easily without feeling overwhelmed.

Cons

Some of the settings feel pretty awkward. At times, I come across what seem like duplicate pages when navigating the billing and invoicing sections. While more detail is not inherently bad, unclear screen layouts lead to confusion. Additionally the fees are higher than those of competing platforms.

Pros

Cons

Loved it ever since starting

Pros

I have loved JaneApp ever since I became a healthcare provider. It is really simple for both my patients and me to navigate. The support team is excellent too and I like the free 45 minute consultation when starting.

Cons

As a practitioner, I'd like to see outdated templates removed from the system. For example templates from six years ago could be deleted. I mean its just a random thought.

Most aspects are quite user friendly

Pros

Overall I find most aspects quite user friendly. Also the team is responsive and great to work with.

Cons

I would really like built-in messaging for both internal and external communication so I don't have to switch between WhatsApp, text messages and email all day. Everything should be accessible in one place. Alternatively I should be able to connect those external services like WhatsApp Business, directly into the platform. I also need more detailed control over billing because our small organization's invoices vary significantly. It would help to have diary placeholders so appointments can be held tentatively without being confirmed immediately. A send later feature for invoices, appointment confirmations and other outreach would be very useful. Lastly when someone books online, I want the option to CC a central admin email so our team also receives the notifications.

Pros

The team's tendency to make excuses for mistakes, rather than taking ownership is a significant drawback and everything else is bad too.

Cons

Continuing with the dislikes, the scheduling mistake is ridiculous, especially since no one considered the different time zones.

Highly responsive and accessible support

Pros

Jane support team is highly responsive and accessible through multiple channels, including chat, email and phone. They are attentive listeners and show a genuine willingness to adjust the system to meet providers needs. Additionally the pricing is quite affordable.

Cons

It does take me a little while to get comfortable using it. I sometimes struggle to build templates that include exactly what I need and it's also tricky to tweak preexisting charts for example the spinal chart used in chiropractic. On top of that I wish it could produce printed narrative reports generated from the Daily Notes checkboxes to use for PI/Attorney documentation.
