Pros
We really like Klara's patient reminder system because it has enabled our team to fully customize the types of messages we send out to patients, such as new patient intake forms, pre-appointment prep instructions, reminders about upcoming appointments and it even supports patients sending back follow-up feedback via a survey about their most recent visits.
Cons
There are persistent glitches that take forever to sort out. Most recently it's been their self-scheduling platform. we were scheduled to go live at the end of April and they still can't identify the problem and their communication has been quite sparse. If we don't proactively reach out, we receive no updates.

“Does everything we need”
Pros
Everything! Patients can leave voicemail or texts easily. The dictation of the voicemails is pretty spot on, or at least I can make out what the message is. I really like that it is HIPAA compliant so we can do our Telehealth video calls and send and receive documents from patients.
Cons
No complaints about KLARA. Honestly, I think every medical practice should adopt this platform without hesitation.

Shows whether and when patients have opened the messages we send out which makes one-on-one conversations much easier to manage.
Cons
The system has a big problem with creating duplicate patient records and there's no way to merge conversations. It ends up creating a huge mess that's hard to clean up.

Cons

It solved our office's call volume issue entirely. Most patients appreciate an easy, simple way to leave messages. It also captures voicemail messages, so messages from people who aren't online still appear.
Cons
They recently altered how documents are displayed online. In my experience, that makes it tricky for some users to open attachments on mobile devices.

There are a few limitations, for example reminders can't display the day of the week. Also unlike our previous software, it's not possible to block certain patients from the online scheduler.

Cons
Occasionally patients hit the wrong button and end up cancelling their appointment, then show up without one. Still that seems like user mistake rather than Klara's fault and it's an operator error.

You can quickly reach patients without bugging them during their day. Plus, you get a read receipt so you know for sure when they've seen your message.
Cons
I am unable to message landlines right now. It'd be great if there was a feature where an AI-driven computer could call landlines and automatically deliver our messages on our behalf.
