I love how quickly we can connect with patients. How smoothly the platform handles video visits online.
Cons
The cost of it seems rather high when compared to other services and frustratingly we are unable to exchange images between Klara and our EMR system.

“Great chat, needs EMR link”
Pros
We really like the built-in chat feature and that it clearly shows when patients open providers messages. The interface felt really easy to use.
Cons
We'd really like to see tighter collaboration with our EMR so all messages and notes would flow directly into patient charts instead of us having to copy and paste. It's also annoying that we have to log in frequently and separately instead of staying signed in with the EMR.

Pros
Adding patients is smooth and patients can log in with or without being Klara clients. It's really easy to use.
Cons
I wish you could upload more than two documents and the template creation could be easier to manage.

“Great texting with one issue”
Pros
We can text our patients which is great. It's also handy that messages can be assigned directly to a provider and sent to them internally.
Cons
Dealing with customer service can be tricky sometimes since there isn't a single person assigned to our clinic.

“Easy messaging saves time”
Pros
Messaging is very easy and accessible. Because patients get a text alert, it's much more likely we can reach them fast while cutting down on time spent calling. There's a great option to build templates to save even more time, plus bulk messaging and voicemail transcription are available! All of these functions are really helpful!
Cons
It would be great if it synced with our EMR so conversations from Klara texts showed up in the patient's chart. It's a minor wish, though. Other than that, no major complaints aside from occasional technical glitches that keep some patients from accessing messages.

Pros
It allows communication with patients without having to make extra phone calls.
Cons
When a patient replies, their message doesn't come back to me as a direct reply and it ends up in a general inbox with other messages.

Using it is really simple. It's way simpler to shoot a text and get a quick answer than to place a call.
Cons
Because it's web-based it can glitch now and then and it's hard to tell if your message actually went through.

1. Secure, HIPAA-safe messaging that fits smoothly into our clinical routines 2. The added phone integration is appreciated and has made our processes more efficient.
Cons
Front-office tools are pretty thin right now. So, we rely on other platforms for online booking, intake forms etc. It'd be great if Klara expanded these features or teamed up with a specialist like Promptly, NextPatient or Clearwave

“Voicemail help with clutter”
Pros
Transcribing voicemails is a huge help for my workflow. While it's sometimes imperfect, it prevents me from having to listen to every message and lets me handle issues faster and more effectively.
Cons
What bugs me about it is that whenever someone says "Thank you", it tags my group. Don't know the reason but it clutters my list and I can't work out how to stop it.
