One of the best just needs a scheduling fix

Pros

It doesn't require a lot of training or onboarding, which is great for us as busy optometrists. Also the simple interface makes it easy to use and the sight charts are definitely a big plus too.

Cons

We've faced some lags and hang-ups in the reporting and patient scheduling portals now and then. I think the company should look into fixing this.

Meets my expectations

Pros

I am happy with the charts and attention to detail in reports. So now I no longer have to use any paper.

Cons

It would be great if they introduced bulk processing for bills as it will save us lot of time.

Liquid EHR software fits my needs perfectly. Plus I have had a great experience with customer support as well and they have helped me out every time.

Cons

Nothing can beat this EHR system

Pros

The best part of LiquidEHR is definitely their top-notch technical support. Like any EMR/EHR system, there are glitches and quirks but with time, you get the hang of it. What really sets it apart though, is that their tech support team is quite easy to reach. I've never been put on hold or had to deal with a machine for help! My tech expert is always patient, knowledgeable and professional. They even offer support on Saturdays for emergencies. Plus the customizable software packaging is fantastic too. Moreover, the sales support team member listened to my needs as a small business owner and helped me customize the EHR program. He wasn't pushy at all and gave me different options without trying to sell me services or features I did not need. A lot of other EHR companies offer one size fits all solutions, so you end up paying a huge monthly fee for stuff you do not even use. As my small optometry practice grew and I needed to add more features like patient communication and a self-booking calendar, they took the time to explain all the available options. He really supports small businesses and worked with me to create the most affordable package that suits my needs. I am so grateful for how he helped me stay in practice at a price I can afford.

Cons

At first, the software seems a bit overwhelming because it has so many features, and it's pretty comprehensive. But the good thing is, we do not have to use all of them. However one thing I find a bit frustrating is that the tabs for different sections are a bit confusing. When you click on one tab, it changes the order of the tabs, which makes it more time-consuming to go back to the ones you were originally on.

User-focused and always improving

Pros

I can prepare my new members within 1 day. Moreover, it is exceptionally simple to check in and check out patients. Also the scheduler is additionally exceptionally pleasant and simple to use. All are friendly people to work with.

Cons

I think the detailing could be a lot better. It would be especially helpful if a specialist or practice wants to compare things like sales month to month, or see how many of a certain contact lens brand were sold each month or year. That kind of detail would really make a difference.

Exceptional for handling medical records

Pros

Liquid EHR keeps patient records secure and arranged. In short it is an amazing system to use daily at my workday.

Cons

It can be a bit confusing when trying to input unused phone calls for a patient. It definitely took me a few training sessions to get the hang of it.

Reliable software

Pros

It is easy to use and learn. Also training my new employees on it was not a problem as it too very little time. Plus it is easy to check-in and out patients. And the customer support is also great.

Cons

I think the reporting could be improved. Like if a doctor wants to compare the number of lenses sold each month, it would be much easier if the system made that more simple.

Fantastic EHR

Pros

Liquid EHR provides us with all the necessary features which we need. Plus it arranges the data in an organized manner and provides electronic appointment scheduling, billing etc. Through this software our patients and doctors able to interact directly with no issues.

Provide excellent training

Pros

When we switched to Liquid EHR, they made sure we were well trained in using it. And whenever we need customer support they make sure to provide it!

Cons

While using the it, there were a few issues we had but when we communicated them to the company, they readily accepted and made the changes almost immediately.

Works well without any complexity

Pros

I really like how simple it is to use and how easy it is to go from screen to screen. Also it is well laid out and in the 5 years I've been using it, I have had very few technical issues. Plus, I was able to attest to the meaningful use of part 1 without any problems.

Cons

Well it works better for the corporate office exam, but not a good software for my private practice where I have inventory and stuff.

Made the switch from a major EHR and have no regrets

Pros

The customer service is good and always reply on time whenever I contact them.

Cons

A lot of clicking is required to complete a chart which takes a lot of my time. Plus exams take a while to open.

Transitioning to it was easier than expected

Pros

The learning curve was pretty quick, which made it easier to transition my 35+ year practice to the new system. And whenever I've had tech issues, the response time has been really fast.

Cons

I wish there was an easier way to input prescriptions such as less pointing and clicking would be great. Also it would be helpful to print directly from the refraction tab. One thing I've noticed is that major visual acuities, like 20/40, should stand out more than 20/40-2. Also, a larger range of cataract values would be useful, since sometimes a cataract falls between a 2+ and a 3+, like 2++.

Decent platform

Pros

Liquid EHR is really easy to use. It really saved me time when entering an order, and it's very detail-oriented. I also love that there is almost always a solution to any question I have.

Cons

There are a few things that I think could be better, like how the receipt is laid out for the patient. Showing discounts or what they paid next to each item can be confusing for them.

Once I got used to it, it became easy to use

Excited for what's to come
