Initially, it might seem simple, but over time, I've encountered numerous flaws in the software that require frequent manual corrections.

I find entering payments challenging on a daily basis with this software, especially when it miscalculates. When we submit a claim, there's often a discrepancy between what we expect from insurance and the software's calculation. While this is common, correcting it is quite difficult with this program; it takes persistence to get it right.

Clicking on a patient's name in the various reports instantly takes me to their chart, which is convenient. However, some reports could be more streamlined.

Having used this software for over 10 years, I find Maxident, Maxiviewer, and Maxi Chart have their challenges. Charting, especially, varies among dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants.

Maxident is not compatible with Mac, and its perio charting is slow and awkward. The abbreviations on the perio chart aren't customizable, which is frustrating.
