I get instant chat support usually within 30 seconds. They are always prompt and courteous.
Cons
Sometimes, the support staff do not fully understand what I am trying to communicate or what I need because they are more tech focused rather than familiar with how an eye care practice operates or with eyewear. However, they can quickly direct me to someone who might have better insights, so its not a major issue. I also believe there is still a lot of room for improvement on the optical side.

“Switching to MaximEyes Was the Right Choice
Pros
I love customizing my exam screens for different types of examinations. Its saved me a lot of time charting and gives me more face time with patients. I can easily send prescriptions for glasses and contacts to the patient portal to meet FTC rules and easily send letters to other physicians. Ordering contacts through CLX is very easy which eliminates double entry and transcription errors. The customer service with MaximEyes is the best I have ever experienced. The team quickly addresses issues and follows up with phone calls if needed. The staff is always pleasant and helpful which we all appreciate. We have also suggested improvements to the software and many of our suggestions have been included in future updates which makes the software even more user-friendly.
Cons
My only complaint is that updates occasionally introduce unforeseen glitches that affect some functions that previously worked. While this is frustrating in the short term, I understand this happens with all systems and the team always works to resolve these issues in a reasonable timeframe.

I find it easy to customize many features within the software. We can set schedules and easily adjust them if a provider is out or if we need to add an extra day. Exam templates are also highly customizable to fit individual provider preferences.
Cons
Changing prices for optical lenses is difficult because it requires updating the price in too many places. The initial setup was done by the MaximEyes implementation team but adjusting prices for the new year is not as simple as it should be.

From sales and implementation to going live, the staff and support at Maximize have been stellar and continue to be exceptional. I really like how easy Maximize is to use and that I can tailor it to fit our offices needs. The customer service staff is outstanding, always available for calls or login support when needed. My only minor issue is finding time to pause what I am doing for support calls in our busy office. I also value that they are constantly improving the software to better meet our needs and those of our patients. We are currently beta testing the welcome form integration and are excited about how it will enhance our front office workflow.

We still have not managed to get our Visual Field machine to integrate with the imaging software.

I am very happy with the workflow, especially during examinations. It lets us take care of our patients efficiently with minimal clicks. I love the VSP calculator, the simple and effective scheduler, the online patient portal, bill pay, scheduling features and the new iPad check-in feature. They are all fantastic.

The customization reduces the time I spend on the computer in the exam room which exams more competent. Also we have always had a positive customer service experience and most importantly, we have had zero downtime over the past three years.

I find the customization options user friendly. Doctors can always access the system to review charts and our lab sees our prescriptions as soon as they are complete which make sures a smooth transition from the doctors chair to the dispensary. The transition from charges at the doctors chair to the front desk is quick and smooth and the billing reports are easy to read.
Cons
The only downside I can think of is that on very rare occasions, the system may lag which might be related to our internet connection.
