My team has been using this software for years and it has been amazing so far. It is a powerful system that is simple and easy to use. They take the feedback from their customers into consideration and keep on bringing improvements to the system. It is very contemporary and flexible. We can also easily customize the lab integrations and billing.

It has greatly increased my work efficiency as it has decreased the amount of time it usually took me to complete the daily tasks. Once you learn it, it becomes your best tool. There are so many templates available that you can either use as it is or you can customize them according to your needs. Overall, it is a great system.

There is not much to be disliked about this software except for the fact that the user interface is a bit dull and boring. More colors could be added to make it more appealing and fun to use. Other than that, the tutorials that are provided can be a little improved and made better.

I have been with the slightest two practices and have never listened to a complaint in respects to requesting and they will keep you upgraded in the event that something is back arranged or delayed

It is easy to use as it adapts to the needs. It is easy to customize and create templates and you can even separate templates according to different doctors. It is uncomplicated when compared to other EMR software.

It is a little costly to use as the maintenance fee is quite high and the money which I have to pay for training employees is also a huge amount but as it is easy to use, the training required is very minimal.

The price of this product is way better than many other products out there. The shipping speed is really fast. The company is great in order of delivering things, I’ve never heard of any complains as such. They always keep updating you about everything.

It is a great system, and it is easy to use once you’ve been trained accordingly. It makes doing tasks very easy for me. You can customize accordingly and create your own templates as well. It helps me in getting work done very quickly in comparison to how I normally took longer time doing those same tasks.

There isn’t anything in particular that you can dislike about this system. But year the tutorials provided are a bit weak. And the colours used for the system seems a bit dull, they should improve that and make it look more interesting, so working on it becomes more fun.

We’ve been using it for years, it is easy to use, simple and very powerful. They update the system consistently according to the new changes coming along in the environment. The also keep on improving according to the user feedback that they get. It is a nice software. It is very flexible and can be customized accordingly.

It has very limited ability to obtain the data. It requires a lot of clicking often. The ICD-9 to ICD-10 transition is just not that great. It has limited reporting features. It has printing issues, doesn’t print the complete chart that we want it to print. The balance is shown only of those patients who are being seen, which doesn’t let us keep track properly through the system. Have to do a lot of things regarding the balance checks, manually. It is labour intensive.

It is an amazing software. You can literally customize anything yourself without any need of help. They train you well, so that you learn everything about the system and how to use it. It is easy to use. In 2015 we evaluated many other EMRs before getting MicroMD and I can proudly say that we made the right decision. It is easy to train staff and not much complicated. It is easy to create templates on it. We are a subspecialist and no EMR out there was able to cater our practice but MicroMD is very flexible and this is why we chose this EMR. You don’t even have to use the same templates for every provider, each can create their own according to their will and desire. This product has made our lives so easy.

Cons

Something I’d like to mention is that it is server-based rather than cloud-based, so anyone looking for a cloud-based shouldn’t go for this one, we already had a server-based system with VPNs and stuff, so this worked for us.
