“Top-notch support every time
Pros
Whenever I run into an issue their customer service is outstanding. In about a minute I can usually get a representative on the phone and they can even connect to my computer right away to help. They're consistently fast, efficient and genuinely kind. Easily the best customer service I've dealt with.

Pros
Net Health has been very user friendly and simple to navigate. The customer support team has also been solid whenever help is needed and the copy feature is especially useful since it lets me reuse parts of previous evaluations instead of starting from scratch each time.

“constant errors and slow documentation
Pros
Honestly there's not much positive to say. If the only other option were handwritten documentation, then this would be slightly better than that.
Cons
The way the features are organized is frustrating and moving through the documentation feels buggy rather than fluid. I run into constant errors when trying to view or print documentation and it takes a long time for records to load on the screen. On top of that, there are too many limitations on what can be viewed at the same time.

“NetHealth Wound Care EHR
Pros
Customer service is exceptional. The software supports comprehensive medical record management, insurance billing/coding, and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Its fully customizable interface avoids the assembly-line format common in many EHRs, which can hinder critical thinking skills.
Cons
As with all systems, there is always a wish list of things that you think might make your life easier. However, that wish list is specific to our setting and may not be applicable to every facility that uses NetHealth. They do offer a venue called "Communities" by which users can make change requests for consideration and allows other users to give feedback as to its usefulness of lack thereof.

“missing basic emr functions
Pros
The billing features are one of the few parts we do appreciate since they make that side of the work more manageable.
Cons
We really regret being convinced to buy this EMR because it felt like an upgrade at the time but it has turned out to be the opposite. There is no way to fax documents out of the system, no way to assign a task to a staff member from where the patient chart opens and the tissue analytics tool is not helpful for wound measurement because every measurement has to be corrected manually. We have contacted support so many times that they are probably tired of hearing from us. The delay was especially frustrating when our providers needed prescribing capabilities which took 2.5 months to get. We were told to post all of our concerns in the "communities" section and we did but we are still waiting on basic functions that even older, cheaper EMRs already offer, like faxing referrals, reliable e-prescribing and tissue imaging apps that actually work.

Pros
The system meets and exceeds all our SNF's rehab documentation needs, from certifications to progress reports and billing. The support team is prompt and effective in resolving any issues.

“Net Health for Wound Care Documentation
Pros
Being web-based allows seamless access from different workstations, which is crucial in a healthcare setting or for remote support.
Cons
I personally experienced a few instances where I would enter documentation on one page, and it would not save. While I am not sure, I think this may due to the page timing out. While I understand pages need to time out in electronic medical records for privacy reasons, this was a little detrimental to my workflow. It did not occur very often though.

“customized documentation that flows
Pros
Having documentation tailored not just to the patient's condition but also to each therapist has been a huge plus. You can choose the purpose of the evaluation and even select the special tests you prefer to use. I really appreciate how the documentation moves logically from the evaluation to the treatment note, then to the progress note and finally to discharge. It cuts out the need to dig through older notes or depend on memory to remember which special tests should be considered. The setup for connecting with our existing billing system and medical record storage also went very well and Net Health coordinated effectively with other departments to make sure billing, storage and staff training were all handled successfully.
Cons
There are still a few minor glitches. The biggest issue with our setup is that every account has to be closed at the end of each month and then reopened as a new account. If there's a gap in care even just a month, a new account has to be created manually. Also, if the treatment cycle wording is different from the original one, the documentation flow stops. The system reads it as a new cycle so the notes no longer carry over from the previous cycle.

“reliable compliance and SUPPORTIVE team
Pros
Since opening my clinic 15 years ago Net Health has been the EMR I've relied on the whole time. It has changed hands a few times over the years but the software has continued to grow and improve in meaningful ways. One of the biggest positives is the team behind it.. their responsiveness and dedication to the product really stand out. The system does an excellent job of keeping clinicians highly compliant with both documentation and billing which gives a lot of confidence that what is documented and billed is exactly what gets submitted to the patient's insurance. For practice owners and managers, it also helps ensure clinician notes get finished quickly especially when using the text replacement tools and templates that save a lot of time.
Cons
Biggest area that still needs improvement is reporting and analytics especially to help administrators save time and gather data more efficiently. Aside from that, there are no major concerns right now. The team is always working to improve the product and does a good job of listening to user feedback.

Pros
At this point I really can't point to any major positives. The website looked fairly organized but it still didn't give enough detail about their products and services to help me make an informed decision.
Cons
After visiting the Net Health website I signed up expecting to get a product demonstration. Instead, I got a phone call from a representative who said it would only be a 10-minute conversation to determine whether their software was the right fit which felt more like I was being screened for a job than requesting a demo. When I asked about the demo I had specifically requested, she told me I couldn't have one until I went through their so-called discovery process first. She then tried to set me up with another person for a 30-minute phone call the next day. I made it clear that I wasn't interested in another call and only wanted the demo that was advertised on their website.
