mobile platform needs attention

Pros

One thing that works in its favor is the flexibility across platforms. We can use it on iPads as well as desktops and laptops although my comments are mainly about the mobile side.

Cons

The first-time setup on a new or reimaged device is really frustrating because it requires a download that often times out when bandwidth is limited. That same download gets forced again after every update which makes it even more annoying. At this point most of our iPads are barely used because the therapists have stopped trying to work with them. This is happening across more than 40 of our facilities so it is clearly not an isolated problem. The mobile product really needs a serious and honest review.

Smart scheduling and pain tracking

Pros

Scheduling patients is very convenient and I really appreciate that the system alerts me right away if an appointment would conflict with another one. It's also helpful that it tracks each patient's pain and the specific type of pain over time.

Cons

It would be much better if previous notes were visible while charting instead of having to open a separate screen. I've also lost documentation more than once because I didn't hit apply in time or the internet dropped. The same thing happens with scheduling sometimes, where I've had to start over because someone else made a change that kept me from saving the appointments I had already entered.

rehab teams work more independently

Pros

A big plus has been that our local technology team barely needs to get involved. Once the AWS problem was behind us, the rehab teams were able to handle much more on their own without putting extra pressure on the internal IT staff.

Cons

For us the AWS issues caused a lot of frustration and support was not very helpful during that process. We did not get a real solution until after spending hours going back and forth with our router vendor and trying to troubleshoot everything internally.

our first experience

Pros

Using Net Health has been very simple with an interface that's simple to work with and reporting capabilities that are extremely comprehensive. It's also flexible enough to grow with our needs, connects well with other major vendors and the customer support has been excellent whenever help is needed.

Cons

Biggest downside has been that training is done remotely with no on-site visits available. Patient scheduling can also be complicated at times and interoperability is still somewhat limited with certain other vendor software.

user-friendly scheduling hub

Pros

Being cloud-based is a big advantage since I can connect with employees from any computer. The system is user friendly and having all therapists' schedules visible on one screen makes it really helpful to see how the day is flowing.

Cons

It would be better if everything were included in one place. It also requires remembering to refresh or apply changes manually every time and an auto apply/refresh option would make that much more convenient.

feature-packed fit for therapy clinics

Pros

There are plenty of options and features and the interface has a nice, balanced layout. It works very well for what we need across all five of our therapy locations.

Cons

The .Gif wrap file sometimes causes problems during upgrades and with our firewall. It doesn't happen every time but it can get flagged as untrusted because of AWS.

Medicare compliance time saver

Pros

Using Net Health has helped keep everything Medicare compliant with simple sentence and phrase entry, cut down the time spent on paperwork and made entering information very simple from an admin side.

Cons

It still doesn't work with Apple devices and there's definitely a learning curve when it comes to understanding all the details even with scheduled tutorials.

Therapy-focused and user-friendly

Pros

The therapist side feels very user-friendly and the software is clearly built with therapy workflows in mind. The group minutes utilization feature is really helpful and it's also nice to have productivity updating in real time.

Cons

One frustrating part is that the scheduler is tied to the appointment book so changing projections can also remove a scheduled appointment from the therapist's calendar. Another limitation is that preadmit patients can only be scheduled one day in advance and having the option to schedule them 3-4 days out would make planning much better.

flexible access across devices

Pros

Whether our therapists are using iPads, PCs or Citrix, the experience stays consistent across every platform. It gives us the ability to complete all of the tasks we need without missing anything.

Cons

I don't like how often updates roll out.. it feels like more than once a month. Each update also creates extra work for our support team since the client files in our Citrix environment have to be updated.

Happy with this

Pros

Bringing care plan issues together with assessments works really well. The IDG process is especially helpful and simple for everyone to follow.

Cons

The online help and knowledge section has not been useful at all. Also, the system cannot be configured or personalized nearly as much as we were originally led to expect.

easy note visibility

Pros

The scheduling process works really well and being able to quickly see notes from other disciplines is a big plus. The legend feature is also very useful and helps make things clearer during documentation.

Cons

One thing that would really help is being able to copy and paste from therapy encounter notes especially when the treatment is mostly similar and only things like intensity or reps need to be adjusted. It's also a bit frustrating having to click "apply" so often.

Packed with outpatient tools

Pros

It covers just about everything an outpatient clinic would want in an EMR and should make a real difference in improving our outpatient workflow.

Cons

There are a lot of features to learn at first so it takes some time to get comfortable with the system but the built-in validation helps make sure most tasks are done correctly.

simple to navigate

Pros

It doesn't take much time to understand how everything works. The layout makes sense and the tools and information are simple to locate and use.

Cons

Scheduling could be better. I'd really prefer a daily view that shows every visit scheduled for that day in one place, rather than having to check under each patient or staff member separately.

GOOD practice features

Pros

Using this program day to day feels very simple and it includes most of the tools needed to run a therapy practice efficiently.

Cons

Some of the reports feel repetitive and customer support doesn't always have the right answer. There are also times when glitches or update-related issues take a while to get fixed.

favorite platform with excellent trainers

Pros

Moving around the system feels simple. The trainers have been fantastic as well. I've worked with other platforms before and this one has easily become my favorite.

Cons

There really hasn't been much to dislike at this point although our staff is still just getting started with the training process.

Pros

This tool does a good job of providing support and education when industry changes are coming up.

Cons

One downside is that a lot of software changes can get expensive if you want to customize a specific part of your documentation.

better security capabilities

Pros

Compared with EPIC, this software offers security features that EPIC currently isn't capable of handling.

Cons

certain tasks take a few extra steps than they do in some other EMRs but the system makes it simple to reverse any mistakes along the way.

User-friendly design

Pros

Right away the software feels very user friendly. One feature I really appreciate is the quick Feedback option since it lets you send questions by email and get help fast. Most of the time, the Net Health team responds the very same day with a phone call. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure our questions are fully answered and that we actually understand the solution. I also value that they will take the time to work with us one-on-one whenever needed to resolve any issues or concerns.

Cons

There are times when I wish the system were a bit more simplified. Some of the repeated layers can feel difficult and take extra time to move through.

easy access across locations

Pros

Being able to connect to any of our locations and review documentation, projection screens, user activity reports, service logs and more is a big advantage. I also really value the Net Health team's knowledge especially how well they keep up with federal requirements for therapy services and documentation. That's not a simple task and their expertise definitely shows.

Cons

One thing I don't care for is that it doesn't run on Google Chrome. I also don't use the documentation side regularly but when I do, it doesn't feel very simple in terms of where to go next or what needs to be completed. On top of that some reports don't convert very well when saved to Excel since certain rows end up too small for the data.
