“Good software for us”
Pros
The layout is well organized and simple to navigate. I can either click through options or type my notes manually which makes it work well for different situations. It's also highly customizable so I've been able to adjust it to fit my specific needs.
Cons
The clickable tab selections don't always include the best or most useful options. It would be even better if a therapist helped guide updates and modifications so the software feels more practical and user-friendly for therapists.

“helpful prompts for skilled notes”
Pros
It's very thorough and gives useful prompts on several things that help justify skilled needs. It also reminds you about items you may have missed during the evaluation or documentation process.
Cons
This program can feel a bit long and time-consuming especially for initial evaluations as well as weekly and monthly notes.

“implementation delays and scheduling chaos”
Pros
Well it's a recognized name across the SNF community but beyond that, I really don't have anything else positive to say about the company or the software.
Cons
The rollout kept getting delayed over and over and it felt like our agency was doing the work of helping them shape the product instead of receiving a finished system. We were never able to get Independence Blue Cross insurance set up correctly and the office team had no control over a lot of important features. Moving documents from one chart to another wasn't possible, scheduling was a complete mess and the offline/online setup would have been a disaster for our clinicians. We ended up wasting valuable implementation time during COPs which we simply could not afford especially for a product that ultimately did not meet our needs.

“Powerful analytics and referral tracking”
Pros
Referral management is handled really well in Net Health. When it's paired with Business Intelligence, it delivers a huge amount of data that's incredibly useful for analytics. It also does a very good job of tracking things like insurance authorizations. Combined with Business Intelligence, it becomes a very powerful tool.
Cons
Scheduling features still need some refinement especially for situations where a therapist travels between multiple clinics. I'd also like to see the outpatient library added.

“alerts for daily notes”
Pros
Keeping up with documentation is much better with this system. Recording my daily notes is quick and the alerts for due progress notes and 10th visit notes are really helpful. It also makes co-signing needs very visible so it's much easier to stay on top of everything.
Cons
I wish it were fully web-based instead of requiring software to be downloaded onto a computer because that would make it more accessible and let you work on paperwork anytime.

“I love this!”
Pros
The reports, hot list feature and updates that keep up with current Medicare requirements have been really helpful and simple to follow.
Cons
Customer support could definitely be better and it would also help to see changes take effect right away. At times, when we have an idea or request, it takes until the next release for anything to happen.

“more capabilities than before”
Pros
Compared with what we had before, this software lets us do a lot more things that simply weren't possible in our previous system. When you look at what's available now side by side, the difference is pretty significant.
Cons
There were times when it felt a bit complicated and the learning curve was fairly steep for me although that may just come down to me taking longer to adjust.

“good for medicare documentation”
Pros
Using it is simple and it lets you build quick dropdowns that help keep documentation within Medicare guidelines.
Cons
The tablet app can be confusing and a bit glitchy. I've had quite a few completed documents fail to sync which meant I had to redo them.

“Fast charting with dragon”
Pros
Knocking out an encounter note takes less than two minutes. When it's paired with Dragon Dictation, the workflow is incredibly efficient and works really well.
Cons
There's still a lot of clicking involved. It also seems like setting up the templates must have taken a significant amount of time because as an end user, it feels almost too efficient to have come out of the box that way.

“clinical workflow that delivers”
Pros
The fax feature has been a real plus. The system is user-friendly for clinicians overall which helps day-to-day work move along well even though the reporting side feels somewhat limited.
Cons
The billing module hasn't been as satisfying as I expected and the reports still fall short of what I was hoping for. That said I may take another look at the billing piece down the line and see if my opinion changes.

“Handy scheduling for daily planning”
Pros
Scheduling and planning ahead for the whole staff is very user-friendly and daily schedules are quick to pull up whenever needed.
Cons
The program is hard to customize around specific company needs. In some other systems, clients can adjust how features are used based on what works best for them.

“quick access to patient records”
Pros
Getting comfortable with the core parts of this software doesn't take long. It's simple to pull up a specific patient and review their information, past tracks and documents all in one place.
Cons
Once it gets into the more technical and complicated functions though, it becomes much harder to figure out and doesn't feel simple. I still end up calling for help on a regular basis.

“weekend updates keep breaking billing”
Pros
Having billing, scheduling and documentation all in one system is helpful and being cloud-based is a plus since we do not have to maintain a server.
Cons
Every time they roll out a weekend update something else seems to break especially in the billing side or they remove a feature that had been working fine for the clinic. That creates a lot of frustration for staff and can even cause cash flow problems at first. Getting issues resolved takes far too long and instead of letting you talk to someone directly, they push you to send everything by email and troubleshoot that way. On top of that, you rarely deal with the same person twice so you end up explaining the same problem over and over again. Another big limitation is that the billing and documentation pieces do not generate reports that combine data from both systems. For instance, you cannot pull a report showing the number of patient visits by insurance type, such as BCBS or workers' comp.

“clear daily dos layout”
Pros
Each day is organized by DOS which makes everything very clear and simple to follow. It's simple to read, understand and update when changes or corrections need to be made.
Cons
something that would really help is being able to select and print multiple documents at once. Having to open and print every DOS separately takes a lot of time. It would also be useful to reprocess the full Eval instead of only the DOS and to have a bulk resubmit option for issues like incorrect DOI or body parts.

“Color-coded scheduling works wonderfully”
Pros
Getting around the system is very simple and it's simple to understand without much effort. The color-coded appointments are especially helpful because they let you see what's going on at a glance.
Cons
There is a small twitch in the scheduler at one facility location. The screen jumps up and down until the window is widened and then it settles. It may just be an IT-related issue.

“powerful reporting and support”
Pros
Between workers' compensation incident reporting, case and claim management, screening compliance and the built-in stock reports, Net Health covers a lot really well. Creating custom reports is also simple and the employee and manager web portal is very useful. The interfaces are a big plus too especially with HR demographic software, the state immunization registry and automatic OSHA 300 and OSHA log creation. On top of that, the customer support has been exceptional.
Cons
An area that could be better is the training on new features in Net Health University. It can be hard to follow at times and I'd much rather have NHU available directly inside the portal instead of using a separate link and login. Having access to it within the program would be much more convenient.

“agility makes onboarding effortless”
Pros
Getting around the system is simple and training new staff on it doesn't take much time. The scanning functionality works really well and having lab, radiology, drug screening and other results load directly into Agility is a big plus.
Cons
Honestly I don't really have any complaints. We were using the older STIX system before and while it had become outdated, it did help make the move over to Agility pretty smooth.

“customizable charting and assessment tools”
Pros
Right away the workflow felt excellent and being able to customize so many features really helps speed up charting. The system also comes with extensive functional assessment tools built in and overall it was very quick to learn and use.
Cons
The only downside was that some of the tutorials covered functions our clinic doesn't actually need or use so sitting through all of the videos felt a bit tedious.

“Flexible access and reliable support”
Pros
Being web-based makes it really convenient to work from home, while traveling or even on vacation. NetHealthU is helpful, the support team has been excellent and the system is user-friendly. The transition from my previous medical software went very well since I didn't have to move everything over. Applying payments is fast and accurate and once the background information is set up properly, entering patients becomes efficient and dependable.
Cons
I really haven't run into many downsides. Most of the small glitches I noticed were usually due to my own misunderstanding. The one issue that still comes up for me is in scheduling. There's an option to print a paper reminder after choosing the date and time and once I hand that to the patient, I sometimes forget to go back and click submit. When that happens, the patient doesn't actually get added to the schedule.
