“We are happy with our choice of choosing OP”
Pros
Office Practicum software is built in consideration with a pediatric specialty with specialized features. It is super easy to learn how to use and train the staff with minimum effort. You do not need a separate screen to access pediatric features. Customer support has been more than helpful with any issues weve had.
Cons
The messages feature within the system is not as functional as we would want, but the company has been reassuring that it will be improved in the upcoming upgrades. The customer service is not easily accessible. Call hold times are very long sometimes, although the support staff is always helpful.

“Highly flexible”
Pros
The software is highly flexible which is definitely one of its best features and among its main selling points. Also it is super user-friendly. No learning curve so training our staff to operate is quite simple. So far, everyone including providers and staff members loves working with this service.
Cons
Making a report isn’t the easiest like it takes a lot of time of ours. Printing is the same story as it takes up time because you have to send documents to a webpage first before you can actually print them.

“Support team is nonexistent”
Pros
The tool is pediatric friendly which is good for us. And it is not very hard to learn especially for doctors.
Cons
The support is nowhere to be found here. I’ve put in requests for support but all I get are emails that the issue has been closed, although I’ve never even received a single call from them.

“Customer service is Supperrrrrr Amaazziinng”
Pros
The customer service is really nice. The way they respond to my questions makes me happy. I really like their politeness and the employees always help solve any issues related to hardware or software.
Cons
Tracing back credits and applying them to accounts is pretty tricky. I wish there was an option to add procedures to existing bills when needed. Also, it would be helpful if rejected bills had clearer statements on each claim so we did know exactly what went wrong.

“A top pick for pediatric clinics!”
Pros
Not only is software really easy to use but I find their customer service awesome and super responsive too. They have great templates and the fact that it's specifically designed for pediatrics is just really cool.
Cons
We often notice glitches after an upgrade, and it is expensive as well.

“Comprehensive and user-friendly”
Pros
OP is so easy to use and very comprehensive. You do not need any prior programming experience to operate it. I love how easily customizable this system is. The opportunity to drag and drop when creating formats, appointments, and notes saves us so much time during our day-to-day tasks.
Cons
Sometimes, the software updates bring in new glitches, which I am guessing happens because the updates are not fully tested. These issues can stick around for a while before they're finally resolved.

“One of the best EHR systems”
Pros
I must say the software is easy to use. I mainly use it for one of my clinics. Even though the it feels a bit outdated still it's definitely better than some of the older software I've used. Plus I like that the patient chart is organized into logical categories, kind of like Epic with sections for Medications where you can fill out prescriptions, Allergies and so on. Plus, billing is super easy!
Cons
Some of the related features, like PMH, allergies, and problems, are grouped together, because of which a few extra steps are needed to get through them. The EHR system overall requires a lot of clicks to handle even basic tasks, though that is pretty common with most EHRs. Overall, it is a decent platform.

“OP works wonderfully for us”
Pros
It has a lot of great features. It saves a lot of manpower. We can communicate with parents and patients easily through the portal, which is time-saving. This EMR is tailored according to the pediatrics field. The responsiveness of the staff is highly appreciated. It has made life easier in many ways like billing, chart documentation, communication etc. There are a lot of features that we still havent used, but overall were happy with the product.
Cons
The scan review feature could use a few tweaks since it takes a lot of clicking to get through the whole scanning process. Still it's definitely an improvement over the old paper system we used before.

“Meet all our needs”
Pros
I love how Office Practicum offers all pediatric specialty features which makes it incredibly easy to perform day to day tasks. The system is very user-friendly, navigation around the software is easy. Reporting is simple and intuitive, with a lot of helpful features. The software has so much to offer, we still have not utilized all of the functionalities, such as the patient portal and MU. Their customer support staff is brilliant. You can call them at any time, email or system chat, they are always available and readily willing to help with any and all issues with the system. There is a list of servers with different offices so that you can tally how things are done there and see if there is an easier way for you to perform yours. Their annual conferences are very insightful and interactive with sessions to bounce new ideas, propose changes and learn.
Cons
Billing reports were not the easiest to understand in the beginning. Though, a little training helped us to get through it.

“The interface is very well-designed”
Pros
Office practicum has proved to be a great decision for our practice. The software has a neatly laid out interface. Its easy to use. You can easily keep track of tasks that physicians need to perform which helps to stay more organized and to define the workflow.
Cons
It’s kind of annoying they always require to install the latest update to be able to make the best of all the features.

“Powerful tool... Recommended”
Pros
We have found Office Practicum software to be extremely easy to navigate and intuitive. The system has a lot of innovative functionalities that cater to practices of all sizes. The interface is dynamic and well-laid out, it makes data entry and everyday documentations very quick and unproblematic. Retrieving patient records is a breeze. I would highly recommend this software to large healthcare facilities with huge patient databases.
Cons
The system can be a little slow sometimes but that could also be a fault in my servers but then, all good things come with their downsides and this is still manageable.

“Outstanding software that comes with an amazing layout”
Pros
Unlike most EHR software, OP is very easy to learn and navigate. The system has so many different tools and features that leave all competitors way behind. The working is very efficient and intuitive. It has saved us a lot of time and effort ever since we started using it.
Cons
Customer service is good however, the company does need a better IT assisting staff to help with the day-to-day glitches. Their existing one is rather inconsistent. We could use more training and user-help articles and tutorial videos online to eliminate the need of having to reach out for support. The system is great but they need to work on their support.

“Pleasant experience so far...”
Pros
I have used Office Practicum only for a brief period of time in a remote pediatric clinic and I have been a fan ever since. I have had little to no prior experience with EMR software before this but this software was so easy to use, it did not feel hard or complex like I anticipated. It took me only a while to learn all the ropes, I love the user-friendly layout. Their customer support staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons
I found the IT department to be rather inept and unreliable which was probably the only downside to using this otherwise brilliant system. Any small glitch required a significant amount of time of wait to be resolved and that made things a little inconvenient.

“Not worth your money”
Pros
After the kind of experience I have had, it is hard for me to recall any good things about this system. I suppose duplication of patient appointments into the scheduling chart was simple with the drag/drop option. That is about the extent of it.
Cons
The office practicum company has the most awful and unresourceful support staff I have ever come in contact with. They never have any clue how to fix an issue. They always close cases without resolving the problem. The report they send you will have descriptions of anything but the answer to your questions. Every little task requires too many clicks and steps to completion. The prescription section makes no sense whatsoever. The whole system has no sense of arrangement. Everything is dragged out. The nurses find refill prescriptions very hard. There are infinite glitches all over the system and the company staff will offer no real help. The information either overlaps or is inconsistent in different places. It is impossible to keep up.

“Amazing services”
Pros
JOP offers just the best and most extensive features out of all specialty EMRs, OP comes stacked with more than 200 pediatric-explicit "sick visit layouts, vaccination gauging, electronic school and camp structures alongside pediatric formative assessments, reviews and illness explicit activity plans. Ive utilized Office Practicum for more than fifteen years and can say with certainty that it is structured specifically for pediatrics, with features and tools pediatricians need to both keep kids solid and improve the care quality. With that said, it is user-friendly, dynamic and very efficient.
Cons
Cannot think of any cons to this system. It is the perfect software for pediatricians and I wish all pediatric clinics used it. Their customer support is very courteous and always available to help with any kinds of questions and issues.

“I love Office Practicum”
Pros
I love the ease OP has introduced in our pediatric practice. Having all the patient data records in one mainframe makes it a whole lot easier for us to locate any information from charts to graphs conveniently within a matter of minutes. I like how it allows me to overview any changed and a staff comment section. This has made it a lot easier for the staff and providers to be on the same page.
Cons
The software can feel a bit overwhelming at times as there is just a lot going on on one page, which makes navigation tricky. But once we get used to it, it actually runs pretty smoothly.

“Impressive service.... Worth the cost”
Pros
This software is specifically designed for pediatric offices, and I really like how the designers have created features that cater to our needs. Whenever there are changes in requirements from different agencies, they are quick to adapt which is great. Plus i is easy to use, and we've had no trouble training new doctors, nurses and front office staff on it. It also helps us keep confidentiality matters in check which is super important. We can do everything we need to do on the software and the support team is really responsive when it comes to handling issues or meeting new requirements, including those from the state level. We also use it for billing, and I have had no problems there either. Plus, I love that I can easily add my own design features and create templates for almost everything.
Cons
Some extra features, like cloud storage or sending appointment reminder emails to patients, come with added costs, which is not ideal. Plus, some basic tasks need way too many clicks to get done. and I feel like the workflow could definitely be a bit more streamlined to save time.

“Perfect for long-term use”
Pros
I am the least tech savvy person and even I have this system on my fingertips. It is extremely user-friendly. I find myself well-equipped to operate even the parts of the software that aren’t in my job description. I have been using OP for two decades now and it has grown more powerful and efficient over the years. Tracking tasks for patient’s visits, entering payments, requesting tests to labs or in-house, notes and prescriptions is a breeze with Office Practicum. The platform has so much to offer to your practice if utilized its full potential.

“Terrible design and glitchy”
Pros
Office Practicum is fairly simple to use and not at all complex. Also the software is cost-effective for small practices like ours. Their training staff is good, Kind and knowledgeable. Customer service is also nice and readily available.
Cons
The product is terribly under-designed. There are too many glitches in every single feature and function all over the system. It does cost a small amount but the amount of time it takes for installation and implementation is too much. Not at all suitable for Meaningful Use. There are so many internet troubles with it. We had to hire new staff members to help with it to transition off of the impeccable software we used before this.

“Has a wide range of useful features”
Pros
OP is the best pediatric software on the market. There is an array of pediatric-specific features and functions that allow me to accomplish everyday tasks very easily. Plus office practicum has the most amazing immunization algorithm. It updates instantly every time to reflect ACIP recommendations. Customer support is top-notch and they are always improving their performance. Also the staff is polite and provides timely answers to any and all queries.
Cons
Integration with hospital-based systems/clinically integrated networks can be a hassle. I hope they soon make improvements on that front.
