“Reliable product”
Pros
The IDG procedure is valuable and extremely simple and supportive for everybody to follow. I like the incorporation of the care configuration issues and evaluations.
Cons
I think there should be a training module available to help me easily learn the system. The admission and discharge processes could also be improved to make them smoother. I find the online help section not very useful. Although I was told the system could be configured and customized to meet my needs, it doesn’t offer as much customization or personalization as I would like.

“Simple to use”
Pros
Optima is easy to use, and the staff is always available to assist with any problems. They are friendly and great at explaining how to use the system.
Cons
I would like more options in the future that allow all staff access to see the patients info. The change in the system slowed payments at the beginning of this year.

Pros
I admire how easy Optima billing has made things for our practice. The specialty-specific features are also a great addition. PLus, I like not having to keep track of multiple pieces of paper for both the schedule and timesheets anymore.
Cons
That its taking me so long to learn all the features. But then again new things are added all the time so I just have to keep up.

“Fantastic support”
Pros
That it remains compliant with COPs and our accreditation of ACHC. They are continuously rolling out with updates and software improvements.
Cons
The screen appears small and hard to read on the smartphone and tablet versions, even on an iPad Mini 2. I also think it would be helpful to offer training sessions maybe twice a week for new employees joining.

“Three months of experience”
Pros
With Optima therapy I’ve been able to have a proper work-life balance, and it has only been three months. The customer support is superb. The system is quite simple and effective which actually helps me do better patient care. With this tool, I get more time to see my patients and their family members.
Cons
I think a couple of changes to allow input directly from the calendar page, especially for the social worker sections, would be perfect. This would improve usability and ensure more accurate work hours.
