About PatientNow I like being able to fix small mistakes without them becoming permanent or problematic, unlike other EHR systems. Also it is easy to navigate.
Cons

It feels like they have thought of everything. With numerous shortcuts, reporting options and daily scheduling features, its all very easy to learn and flows naturally.
Cons
They have not missed any options I would like. If there is one, their tech team is very receptive to recommendations and constantly works to improve the product and its offerings.

The scheduling, invoice and payment features of PatientNow work really well. Every step is carefully designed and easy to understand.
Cons
I am trying to learn how to create an email list for sending out email blasts. However, the customer service reps are amazing, patient and helpful. They can guide you through anything related to PatientNow.

I find scheduling easy to use and value knowing which patients canceled or rescheduled.
Cons
Running reports is cumbersome and not intuitive and invoicing is very tedious with many steps involved.

Its simplified enough to be used for just what we need and I frequently discover new, useful ways to do things or hidden features.
Cons
There are often multiple ways to navigate to where you need to go. While this can be helpful, it can also be overwhelming. Some of the administrative functions are counterintuitive.

Pros
As a new PatientNow user, I am very pleased with the prompt assistance. The process of learning the software was overwhelming at first, but the availability of help videos and staff has been impressive. I have called a few times and experienced minimal wait times for immediate help from a knowledgeable support team.
Cons
The marketing component feels a bit complex right now. I still need to learn it so my opinion might change.

Pros
Documented communications with clients via text and email save staff time and streamline tasks. The use of tabs to organize visits is great and quick tabs for price lists are helpful. I also like the integration with marketing and photos between Aesthetic Now and Rxphoto which unifies all systems for better tracking.
Cons
The setup was very detailed and time-consuming. Its challenging to manage without support. Many functionalities are not well described unless you watch webinars. A more comprehensive training guide would be helpful. Also, payments in Canada are not available yet, making it difficult to track inventory.

“The Two Sides To Using PatientNow
Pros
One of the advantages of PatientNow is its allinone system which allows for easy management of various tasks such as checking people in and out scheduling and processing payments. Additionally it enables us to keep better track of package sessions as we can now allow for prepurchasing singular items.
Cons
Unfortunately we have experienced issues with the text messaging feature. Despite receiving approval and being notified of successful delivery the texts did not go through. The support team's response to this issue has been unsatisfactory with a lack of understanding and failure to provide effective solutions. Furthermore certain features such as treatment pathways and report consistency have proven to be unreliable. The overall lack of competence and knowledge displayed by the support team is frustrating and adds to the challenges faced when using PatientNow.

Cons
Its difficult to get started. Around 75% of my patients dislike the portal, and online booking is overwhelming for them. As a result, I am now doing a lot more scheduling myself, which is taking time away from the practice.
