easy daily lessons

Pros

Using this tool has been really easy for me especially because the platform includes short lessons that they provide every day so users can get the most out of the product. Also when I run into an issue with the site, I book an appointment with their team for the very next day to get it sorted out so between their responsive customer support and the affordable pricing I've been very satisfied overall.

Cons

Initially I found the system somewhat tricky and a little overwhelming yet after seeking out the readily available guidance and following a few clear instructions I discovered that the issues I faced were easy to address and quickly resolved.

Customizable templates and reports but priceyy

Pros

One thing I appreciate is the ability to customize templates to match our workflow and I can run reports for billing and to check outstanding balances. It also sends appointment reminders and offers built-in telehealth.

Cons

Sometimes I notice that at least once every month there's some kind of glitch notification which really shakes my confidence in the system and for small practices with under 200 active clients the pricing just doesn't feel worth it.

aligned client onboarding

Pros

Taking the time to set up this tool has absolutely paid off for me because it aligns client onboarding and puts most of the everyday tools I rely on for my practice right at my fingertips eliminating the need to juggle a separate booking app or invoicing software. I can also handle appointments, reminders and billing all from one dashboard and their ready-made templates save me a lot of time too.

Cons

It bothers me that the platform still doesn't offer capture pages or landing pages so I'm stuck using other tools whenever I need them.

Easy client setup and booking but expensive !

Pros

There are so many features I love about this, setting up clients is surprisingly easy, the food journal feature is great and I appreciate how it links with my website so I can offer programs and let prospective clients get in touch. Also booking appointments is really simple, changing or updating appointments takes just a few clicks and because it's HIPAA compliant I feel secure sharing full notes or selected excerpts with clients while easily viewing their recent activity and building programs that can include video links.

Cons

The price keeps climbing and adding new staff ends up costing far more than what I've seen with other EMRs.

Fullscript integration ease

Pros

I really appreciate that it links with Fullscript so I can send protocols without fuss and I find the interface simple and easy to navigate, the forms builder is excellent and I'm particularly glad I can keep payment details on file.

Cons

What really slows me down is the lack of LABCORP and QUEST integration and the absence of e-prescribing which forces me to juggle multiple systems. Plus the scattered settings and missing master calendar make managing practitioners unnecessarily complicated.

Client-friendly interface

Pros

My clients young and old find this tool really easy to use since they can quickly confirm appointments, message me through the built-in chat and keep up with food journaling without confusion and on my side I've been able to stay on top of everything by saving notes and protocols in one centralized spot so nothing gets scattered across different tools.

Cons

Pros

I really appreciate that the HIPPA-compliant platform offers customizable form templates and centralizes every document in one place so both my clients and I can quickly and easily access what we need which feels like a genuine win-win for everyone involved.

Comprehensive business management

Pros

This tool runs my entire business for me. Over the years I've tried quite a few different software packages to manage my nutrition and health coaching practice and I've tested names you might recognize, Mindbody and Vagaro among them but they never quite fit my needs or were missing key features. For more than five years I've been with this tool and watched it grow, improve and expand its capabilities, during that time I've used every pricing tier they've offered and I'm currently on the Plus plan. I rely on it to host my group programs, distribute coaching materials, send protocols and recommendations, communicate with clients both one-on-one and via group chat and email, schedule appointments and group coaching calls and handle billing and invoicing so it keeps my business running smoothly and helps me present a professional image. I also value the integrations with tools I use regularly, Fullscript, Zoom, Google Calendar, Square, to name a few and the ability to build custom, recurring forms and tasks that I use to help clients establish new habits. On top of that, they're consistently working to enhance their service, offer regular software trainings and provide business coaching and practical tips that have helped me run my business and grow professionally. Their customer service has been great as well and because I genuinely appreciate the platform I've recommended it to many friends, clients and colleagues which is why I'm taking the time to leave this review.

Cons

My early experience with program hosting nearly pushed me away because it confused my clients though improvements since then have helped. Even now I'd love a more simple setup and messaging templates for repetitive onboarding communication.

Approachable for patients

Pros

I find the platform really approachable for both patients and practitioners and its food diary alongside the instant messaging tools make it simple for me to offer clients timely feedback and stay in touch between appointments.

Quick templated notes

Pros

After finishing a session I find it really easy to jot down my client notes and I especially appreciate being able to drop in a pre-built template with a single click so that every required piece of documentation is already populated, the client messaging is also uncomplicated and, importantly, I feel reassured knowing that all communications are HIPAA-compliant which makes managing records and conversations with clients much less stressful for me overall.

Cons

Setting up certain parts of the system still challenges me some areas are simple but others require more time and patience than I'd like.

Central hub for practice operations

Pros

As the central pillar of my business this platform really drives everything I do and because I come from a tech background I can honestly say that among the CRMs and tools I've tried, this is one of the best I've used, it's incredibly simple and slick and it handles everything I need while even covering extras I didn't expect.

Cons

One improvement I'd suggest is adding telehealth that supports more than one person on a call since right now I end up having to use Zoom and pay for that separately which feels unnecessary when the platform could handle group calls natively.

All-in-one client management system

Pros

I've relied on this tool since 2019 for my Functional Medicine work and right from the start the team has continuously refined the product while other platforms I've used before often seem to stumble when they try to upgrade. It has truly reshaped how I run my practice and how I engage with clients making day-to-day operations noticeably smoother. What stands out most to me is the all-in-one client management system which congreatates scheduling, record keeping and client communication in a single hub so I don't have to jump between tools. The interface feels simple and the customization options let me adapt the software to my specific workflow without a lot of fuss. On top of that, the secure telehealth features have been indispensable given how many of my consultations are virtual and having mobile access means I can respond to patients quickly from my phone which helps me maintain timely communication no matter where I am.

Cons

My only real problem is that I wish the system would automatically populate a patient's birthdate into the notes because having to enter it manually is an extra step that interrupts my flow. Also I would prefer the signature to be sized and positioned more consistently with the rest of the document instead of appearing large and centered since that layout looks out of place and sometimes forces me to spend extra time editing or reformatting the document to achieve a more professional appearance.

As a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, this comprehensive practice management platform lets me record every detail required to operate my practice in a tidy organized way for both my clients and myself and because it links with That Clean Life, I appreciate how it aligns food journaling making it much easier for my clients.

Cons

Complete coverage for practice needs

What I appreciate most about this platform is that it's a one-stop shop covering the bulk of my private practice needs allowing me to manage everything from initial client outreach and intake surveys through to the completion of a client's wellness journey, it aligns all the administrative work involved in running a small practice so those tasks feel much less daunting.

Cons

There are genuinely only a handful of downsides I've noticed with this tool, primarily that the calendar and scheduling tools could be more flexible and simple while I find configuring or modifying my availability somewhat fiddly and occasionally time-consuming, having appointments and scheduling integrated into the same platform ultimately makes the extra effort worthwhile.

My clients find this really easy to navigate and I also appreciate how aligned and clear-cut the whole system is for both my management team and theirs.

Cons

After I exceeded the ten-client threshold I was forced to move up to the 300-client tier which nearly tripled what I pay each month and that jump feels frustratingly disproportionate, I wish there were a middle option because with my revenue fluctuating around the fifteen clients I actively manage, the $80 monthly fee no longer seems justified especially since I'm nowhere close to needing support for three hundred clients yet was required to upgrade to that plan.

great platform with constant updates

As a registered dietitian I appreciate that it delivers every core feature I rely on while also including a broad selection of advanced tools so it never feels limited, the platform itself is great and seems to be under constant improvement which I notice through frequent updates and refinements. Consolidated records and communications easily

I've genuinely valued this tool's wide array of resources because they've helped me align and congreatate all of my client records and communications into a single, manageable system and after switching over years ago I still appreciate how convenient it is to have everything accessible online in one place, moreover, the platform's expansion to include an online dispensary, menu-planning tools and the ability to order labs directly from the system has multiplied its usefulness many times over.

Cons

While I recognize there are numerous features I haven't yet mastered and I often find the learning curve steeper than I'd like, the reality is that I don't always have the bandwidth to sit down and fully explore everything, this is something I struggle with across many tools, from SEO plugins on my website to even figuring out all the nuances of my phone so it's unfair to blame this tool alone. It is great but I was frustrated that it took far too long for auto-save to be added, this felt like a basic expectation so next time the team falls behind on something so fundamental, I would urge them to consider bringing in an experienced development consultancy to implement it quickly rather than letting users wait for years while essential functionality lags.

Simple yet feature-rich software solution

For me what stands out is the overall simplicity and the effortless usability combined with a surprisingly rich set of features since everything I need, from scheduling appointments to creating full courses is available in one unified place.

Having used this tool regularly I find it very easy and simple to navigate, the patient portal is a real convenience and I'm able to store entire programs and templates in one place for quick access and reuse.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is that it won't sync with my iPhone calendar for appointments, I wish it could so my schedule would update automatically and I wouldn't have to enter events in two places.

Integrations make workflow simple

Pros

This tool really shines in a lot of areas for me and I often find myself relying on it for so many parts of my workflow. One of the features I find most valuable are the numerous integrations that tie everything together which is especially important given that I am a nutritionist who drafts a large number of protocols and makes many supplement recommendations, having the ability to handle all of that within a single platform genuinely simplifies my day-to-day work. I also value that they offer customizable form templates that I can adapt to my needs which was a huge help when I was first launching my practice and building out all of my intake documents. On top of that, clients have told me they find the system easy to use so Ive received consistently positive feedback about its user-friendliness.

Cons

The main drawback I experience is that the layout isn't always the most simple when it comes to locating specific features and on occasion I end up spending more time than I'd like hunting for what I need, that said, I'm not particularly tech-savvy so my confusion might be more to do with my own comfort level than a universal issue. Still, those moments of uncertainty can be frustrating and it sometimes takes me a while to find the exact tool or setting I'm after, even though overall the platform works well.

Functional for solo and group practices

Scalable features to grow practice

Pros

For my practice I've discovered a set of features that I can grow into, particularly the tools for running groups and hosting online courses which feel scalable as my needs expand, there is also the capability to assign tags to clients for tracking leads and onboarding new clients and I really like that it integrates with Fullscript as well.

Cons

Some trouble I have faced while getting the calendar setup and the configuration for group sessions to make sense since the learning curve is steeper than I expected and I also wish there were journal fields dedicated to ketone and blood sugar readings plus a way to sync directly with Cronometer for nutritional data.

Simplifies admin for group programs

Pros

What I really appreciate is how simple the platform is to use for both me and my clients and the way its structured organization eases so much of the administrative burden, it genuinely lightens the load when I'm building group programs, managing schedules and keeping all of my clients' details in one place.

Cons

Although the platform does what I need and the benefits certainly outweigh the drawbacks, I wish the interface felt a bit less glitchy and more visually appealing, running group programs or courses can be a little awkward, it works but there are other platforms that look nicer and are a touch easier to use for delivering programs and because I love this tool I'm willing to wait for a more aesthetic update since functionality is the most important thing to me.

All-in-one charting and billing

Pros

I appreciate that I can reschedule, bill, chart and conduct appointments all from a single place. The ability to use pre-made templates or build my own charting and forms proved hugely valuable. Finally the HIPAA-compliant AI charting and dictation, introduced in December 2023, has been a game changer because it helps me document more efficiently and stay present during sessions with my clients.

Cons

ClaimMD's launch has mostly fixed this though a clearinghouse is still missing. This platform is undeniably useful and has real value, yet because it requires a significant financial commitment I wish a clearinghouse integration were bundled into some higher pricing tiers rather than tacked on as an additional fee. Having an option available is reassuring, even if it isn't necessarily the best practical choice for dietitians such as myself to use personally right now. I'm likely going to use Availity.

outdated app features

Pros

Being a new practitioner who really dislikes administrative tasks like most people I've found this platform incredibly easy to use and the switch was truly convenient for me. It makes scheduling appointments, sending out waivers and forms, processing payments, managing treatment protocols and tracking finances much more simple which has taken a huge chunk of stress off my plate because I can also pull clear monthly reports. I'm definitely recommending it if you need an easy way to organise clients, finances, protocols and bookings.

Cons

I've noticed several areas where the app feels a little behind other options I've used, particularly compared to Jane App and that sometimes leads to extra manual work for things I would expect to be automatic. For example, there isn't a visual colour change on the calendar to indicate when appointments are cancelled or completed which makes it harder to scan my day at a glance, configuring one-to-one sessions inside a package is also confusing and not simple, I would love an option to charge clients for sessions that are already confirmed or attended and then congreatate those charges into a single monthly invoice or post them to their profile automatically. There's also no way for a client to purchase a multi-session package and have the system decrement the session count from their profile, right now that has to be handled manually and a number of other tasks end up requiring more hands-on input than with competing platforms. Finally, when I had video support calls with staff to get help, the staff were courteous and provided useful assistance but I felt disconnected and that it was unprofessional when they kept their cameras off during those sessions.

Comprehensive tools in single platform

Pros

Choosing this platform turned out to be one of the best decisions I made when launching my business, it's easy to learn, very easy and pulls together everything I need into a single product. Whether I'm adding new clients, managing billing or working on charts, the tools I require are all right there and I especially liked that their pricing scales with my growth.

Cons

The app really needs a Microsoft 365 integration because I ran into issues where clients couldn't consistently upload forms, as a result I've had to add an extra workaround step to capture those documents which is a bit annoying.

As a user I appreciate that it's a comprehensive, easy-to-navigate platform that keeps expanding with useful new features and I really like the templates they provide.

aligned workflow with centralized tools

Pros

I'm really glad that billing, client records, messaging and my booking calendar are all housed in one place because it aligns my workflow and keeps everything accessible without having to jump between apps.

great client management and customization

Pros

This tool delivers strong client management features that I've come to rely on because it lets me keep comprehensive and well-organized files for every client, including their medical histories, individualized treatment plans and detailed progress notes. Being able to quickly update and pull up client records has smoothed out my workflow and noticeably increased the precision of my documentation which I value highly. I also find it really useful that the platform provides extensive customization options so I can adapt intake forms, set up tailored reminders for follow-ups and educational sessions and otherwise configure the system to meet the particular demands of my work. Moreover since the EHR is HIPAA-compliant, I feel confident that sensitive client information is guarded and secure and that peace of mind matters a lot. On a separate note, I genuinely appreciate the partnership between That Clean Life and Practice Better because it has made my professional life significantly easier, thank you.

Cons

There are times when this tool's sheer number of tools overwhelms me because I can easily lose track of how certain workflows are supposed to be done and end up having to re-teach myself parts of the system. Fortunately, it offers helpful tutorials and responsive customer support that step in when I get stuck which makes those moments much less frustrating and quicker to resolve.

Everything consolidated in one platform

Pros

It is very easy to use and I appreciate that all the tools are congreatated in a single platform, I no longer need a separate scheduling app, a distinct electronic medical record or a standalone payment processor since everything I need is housed together.

Cons

Although I found putting together my resource library somewhat tough and less simple than I would prefer, in my view that drawback is fairly small compared with the overall advantages the platform provides.
