“Nothing positive to share about this one”
Pros
To be honest I have nothing positive to share. I avoid this EMR completely at all costs
Cons
The salesperson told me everything I needed would be included so I signed up for the free trial, only to find it did not give full access to the promised features. I also discovered the advertised price excludes EPCS and there are no CPT codes available unless you buy your own license and without it, you literally cannot enter a single procedure or screening code. Modifiers aren't preloaded either so I had to add each one manually. And I attempted to cancel my subscription within 25 days of signing up and was flatly refused. They held me to the agreement despite my dissatisfaction which felt dishonest and extremely frustrating. I plan to warn every physician I know to steer clear of this product. From my perspective they seem far more focused on collecting payments than on keeping doctors happy or earning referrals from satisfied users.

“Simply the best”
Pros
I've been using Practice Fusion in my office for over 5 years now and I absolutely love it. One of my favorite features is the ability to assign different colors to appointment types on the calendar which makes scheduling so much easier. I also really like how simple it is to e-prescribe prescriptions. The pinned notes feature is great and I'm happy they have expanded the option to write longer profile notes. Overall, the look and ease of use are way better than other EMRs I've tried. I have already recommended Practice Fusion to many of my colleagues, and I will keep doing so!
Cons
While Practice Fusion generally works well, there have been a few times over the years when the entire system went down and we could not access it for almost a whole day. This kind of disruption is a big issue for us, and it really shows the need for an offline emergency backup, especially for the calendar system. The mobile version of the software isn't great either, although I do not use it too often. I am also disappointed that Practice Fusion only works with Updox for patient communication. I really think they should partner with more options in this area to give users more flexibility.

“User-friendly EMR”
Pros
I highly recommend Practice Fusion as it is a user-friendly EMR. It excels in various areas such as scheduling, downloading, and uploading sensitive documents. The customer support provided is also excellent, and the affordability of the software is unbeatable.
Cons
Honestly, I havent found anything that I dont like about Practice Fusion. It meets all my needs and exceeds my expectations.

“Practice Fusion is reliable”
Pros
Practice Fusion is a solid choice, especially for smaller practices that are not looking to grow too much or deal with a lot of complexity. PlusI find it really affordable and fairly easy to set up, which makes it perfect if you don't need all those advanced features.
Cons
One area where Practice Fusion falls short is customer service. It is difficult to get in touch with a live person, and their support videos, while extensive, may not always address specific needs. When you cant find what youre looking for or the support videos dont help, the lack of accessible customer support can be frustrating.

“Easy to use”
Pros
Well it is great and i will definitely recommend it to a friend or colleague. It is simple, super user-friendly and the dropdown menus for the most-used items make everything a lot easier for us.
Cons
One downside is that it lacks an integrated billing system, which I think would be a really valuable addition to the software.

“Better than I expected”
Pros
Personally, I find the interface so easy to use even for first-timers like receptionists and medical assistants! Tasks, schedules, messages etc, everything is laid out neatly and super simple to access and navigate.
Cons
The only thing I would say is slightly an issue for us is that we cannot search for patients regarding their previous visits which is kind of odd.

“Great for small practices”
Pros
Undeniably, the best thing for me about Practice Fusion is that it is free of cost and that it is web-based means you are not bound by any server to access it anywhere or face storage issues. The system is highly compliant. It works great on PC and iPad and the application is fast and comprehensive. The physicians can take notes and do the documentation during the encounter within a matter of minutes. charting and practice management work seamlessly and cut down on a lot of time.
Cons
Since it is a web-based system, the real trouble begins when the internet is down. There are no offline versions of the data archives. It can be a real problem if they prolong the outage since most of our work depends on the workability of the system. Which is why you need to have external backup plans in order.

“Meets expectations”
Pros
This tool has been great even though I know I still have a lot to learn to make the most of all its features. Lately, I have been working a lot with the charts, and what I really love about the new visit feature is how simple it is to incorporate previous charts. All I have to do is edit the information and add anything new. No need to re-type the same data over and over. It saves me so much time and really improves my workflow.
Cons
I failed to notify the patient that I needed to make a refill on medications because of a glitch in the system.

“Just great”
Pros
Practice Fusion EHR software is HIPAA compliant, which is a huge plus and lets me focus more on patient care. Honestly, I think Practice Fusion is one of the best out there. It has all the features I need, keeps patient data organized and gives me peace of mind knowing everything is secure. In the area I serve, it is definitely the industry standard. Overall, it is a great product that saves me a ton of time.
Cons
The one thing I really want Practice Fusion to do is make some of the required fields "not required". It is super annoying when I don’t need to enter a certain detail, but the system forces me to fill it out. I think there might be a way to change it, but I have not been able to figure out how to mark it as not required.

“Have some billing issues, but works fine”
Pros
Customizing templates for notes is easy and convenient with Practice Fusion.
Cons
We had some billing issues that resulted in unpaid patient visits, and it eventually led us to stop using the software. On top of that, there were upcoming prescription charges that we just could not ignore.

“My experience was both good and bad”
Pros
The software is generally easy to use and chart with. It definitely makes my job a lot easier.
Cons
We experienced frequent downtime issues which were frustrating, and to make matters worse, we were hit with an unexpected $150 monthly fee after it was initially free. That definitely caught us off guard.
