“Good EMR with the potential to be better”
Pros
We have used Practice Fusion for three years and it worked great for us. it is simple and hassle-free. the EMR is entirely web-based so data retrieval was easy and data loss, not an option. we recently had to switch EHR because practice fusion does not offer practice management and billing which made collections very hard for us to keep track of.
Cons
Customer service can be a little inconsistent because it takes a long time to get in contact with someone who will help you.

“Practice Fusion May Be Timed Out”

“Great Patient System for Small Office”
Pros
The software's main advantage lay in its free usage. Furthermore being a web-based application eliminated the need for an in-office server. PC and iPad support facilitated smooth doctor interactions and essential functions like charting and management consistently performed well. Compliance within the platform was an additional positive aspect.
Cons
The main concern arises when the internet connection is lost. Unlike on-site servers web-based systems demand a backup plan for seamless operations.

“Promising service. Could be better”
Pros
We have been using Practice fusion for a long time since it was free. Now that have begun charging for it, there have been many improvements with each upgrade. The workflow is more streamlined than it ever was before. Although there is still a lot of room for improvements. I love some of the new features. Patients notes have to be one of my favorites. Interaction between different departments used to be difficult before but the integration has considerably improved now. Their partnership with Kareo’s billing system is among their greatest decisions.
Cons
They have made many improvements in the past year by increasing interaction between different modules and the systems usefulness. The interface can sometimes seem too cluttery. The reports could still use some tweaking and more features to help ease locating data. I wish their customer service was more accessible.

“Ever worsening service”
Pros
When I first got started in the medical healthcare business, I found Practice Fusion very promising for a free EHR, and because it would help me ease into the health IT space before I get an advanced system. it was never very good but since it was free, that was acceptable. any glitches that you may experience, you just had to deal with. all that they promised was that the service would remain free but even that changed. they started to charge for the software but made zero improvements in the functions of the system.
Cons
A truly entirely terrible service. Their customer service is worse than non-existent. They are rude and insolent. it almost seems they no clue what they are doing. They gave out a 3 days-notice to practices to update prescriptions in light of the fact that they switched vendors. Directions are horrible and their framework isnt prepared for it. on top of that, they are horrible with MIPS and meaningful use. using this system will definitely add to your biggest regrets. They scheduled three meetings and then just did not attend. My whole group was sitting around a table, for the MIPS meeting they called and multiple times they didnt attend or even reach us. They dont respond to calls or messages but when you sign into the EMR you get notified "join for MIPS".
