Once you grasp it Practice Mate falls into place effortlessly.

“Use of Practice Mate for Electronic Billing in a clinical psychology private practice.
Pros
The customer service team excels in troubleshooting claims processing issues. They exhibit professionalism knowledge and competence.
Cons
Understanding why claims are rejected by payors is often unclear and requires contacting Office Ally representatives. Despite this inconvenience its preferable to dealing directly with behavioral health companies which often provide misinformation or lack effective troubleshooting.

“Essential for Electronic Medical Billing
Pros
My favorite aspect of Office Ally Practice Mate is its simplicity for electronic medical billing. I can complete a weeks worth of billing in just minutes. Adding or updating patient charts is also straightforward.
Cons
One improvement Id suggest is that after creating a claim it should return to the date of the claim rather than the current days calendar. Its a minor inconvenience as I usually do billing weekly.

“Perfect Practice Management for small private practices
Pros
Ive been using Practice Mate since 2007 and havent felt the need to explore other services. It provides scheduling electronic claims submission and payment allocation all at minimal additional cost.
Cons
The interface could use an update after 16 years but it still functions adequately. Partnering with payment systems and pressuring users to buy into them was an issue in the past.

“A worthwhile product
Pros
I appreciate how easily I can manage claims status changes especially when dealing with denied claims. It helps me prioritize claims based on their phase in the process.
Cons
I believe there could be smoother transitions between screens such as a oneclick feature to access payment IDs from a patients billing history instead of having to copy and paste them into accounting.

“Practice Mate is a very useful tool.
Pros
The scheduling features are handy and the ability to have patients fill out intake documents online and store them in their records is valuable. Customer service has been reliable and the scheduled training sessions are extremely beneficial especially for accounting and filing secondary claims.
Cons
Unfortunately I dont receive alerts for new messages in the patient portal requiring frequent manual checks throughout my busy day. Moreover theres no secure method to send messages with attachments to colleagues only to patients.
