There are plenty of additional features that come with this software. The company has been around for a long time which adds to its reliability.
Cons
The software is not user friendly at all. Its quite complex and the interface reminds me of an outdated DOS system. The available packages are not satisfactory, considering the high cost. The support is okay, but the whole process is slow because of the system's complexity. They don't offer refunds, and you have to pay a significant amount upfront for implementation, training, and setup. Setting up the software requires a lot of effort. If you decide to cancel, you have to send a letter by mail, as they don't accept cancellations via email. Even after they receive the letter, you still have to pay for 30 more days without using the system. The company has been around for a long time, but they've made the system overly technical.

PracticeStudio EHR Software is a one in all solution needed for practice. It helps to streamline daily tasks like scheduling, report analytics, and billing. Scheduling data is its prominent feature due to smooth navigation. A lot of options are available for your customized needs. Their customer service is great which is a plus point.
Cons
Highly functional but it has different providers for different tasks which makes it difficult to connect with providers when needed.

Modules are very easy to use and the modification process is not time-consuming at all. Even the codes can be modified. Billing and reconciliation features are smooth and easy to operate. Customer service is very responsive! Indeed this is a good software!

Cons
This software is not a good example of a truly user friendly EMR. It requires a lot of typing and it is not menu driven which increases the risk of human typographical errors. The support provided is inadequate.

What we really like about this system is the ability to personalize almost everything. They pay attention to client suggestions and we've seen some of our ideas incorporated into the software updates.
Cons
The software provides a lot of detailed information but the cost is definitely high. Its the most expensive program we have used for running our practice. As a small business we sometimes have to choose a basic and affordable option instead of all the fancy features.

Practice Studio has been the backbone of our practice for over a decade. What I like the most about Micro Four is their skill in navigating the ever changing technical and regulatory landscapes that Practice Studio operates in. However, its not enough for the product to be up to date in these areas alone. We also need assistance in utilizing the software effectively to deliver excellent patient care and achieve incentives through programs like Meaningful Use and PQRS. This is where Practice Studio's exceptional customer service shines. Their technical staff is the most experienced and accessible I've encountered when using any software. It speaks volumes about an organization when you can build a relationship with the same support staff over a span of more than ten years! We briefly switched to another software product a few years ago, and that experience made us truly appreciate what Practice Studio offers in terms of technical support. We returned to Practice Studio within a few months. Practice Studio combines the best of both worlds: a well-established product with a strong track record and top-notch technical support, while always staying ahead of what's on the horizon. I highly recommend this product.

I am very satisfied with the Practice Studio (X16) EHR software from MicroFour. The customer support has been excellent and I feel like I have a business "relationship" with both the sales and support staff. The software is comprehensive and admittedly, complex, meeting all the necessary documentation standards. However, with the training I received, I can use it efficiently and effectively, tailoring it to my exact needs. I can dive into the details or streamline records with just a few keystrokes. I receive timely and accurate responses to my questions and technical needs. I highly recommend Practice Studio for EHR.

We have relied on Practice Studios Practice Management software for 17 years. When we decided to transition to EHR, we closely examined four major providers and concluded that Practice Studio was as good as, if not better than, any other choice. Once you've selected software that gets the job done, the most crucial aspect is the support. This is where MicroFour truly excels. They promptly and effectively solve any issues that arise. The programmers are highly responsive to suggestions. While most of the software is fairly intuitive, MicroFour was among the top 5% of all EHR software firms ready for certified EHR Level Two. They have simplified the attestation process, and we received the promised incentives from the government.
Cons
It can be quite costly for small companies but overall it performs well. so you can overlook this specific drawback.

The system is very easy to understand and master quickly. The flow is intuitive and covers all the essentials without requiring the creation of custom templates. Scheduling is simple and the practice management integration with the EHR is seamless.

While government regulations make all EHR systems confusing and expensive our office has determined that Practice Studios suite of products offers the best system we have seen to date. We have had the opportunity (and burden) to use at least 4 other major EHR software products and PS is the most efficient and adaptable one on the market. The support provided by Practice Studio is highly efficientand their response time is 10 times better than anything else we have experienced. I strongly recommend anyone in search of an EHR to carefully consider Practice Studio!

Even though EHR software can be expensive Practice Studio is better than most and we haven't faced any issues so far.

I have been using Micro Fours Practice Studio for chiropractors for over 15 years. They have always been at the forefront of EMR technology. The system is ready to use right out of the box and can be easily tailored to fit your practice style if necessary. Their support is quick and highly helpful. They have also simplified compliance with Meaningful Use measures and assisted me in collecting thousands of dollars through the incentive program. I highly recommend Practice Studio for any medical office transitioning to EHR.

I really love the features of Practice Studio and how easily I have adapted to using all of them. I started with Practice Studio around 1998 and have witnessed its evolution into one of the most detailed yet user friendly programs I have encountered. The customer service team at Practice Studio is prompt and extremely helpful in every aspect if you ever need their assistance. I give this company more than 5 stars, and I will continue to utilize their program.
Cons
The only thing I wish is that they were located closer so it would be easier to arrange onsite training if needed.
