There are plenty of additional features that come with this software. The company has been around for a long time which adds to its reliability.
Cons
The software is not user friendly at all. Its quite complex and the interface reminds me of an outdated DOS system. The available packages are not satisfactory, considering the high cost. The support is okay, but the whole process is slow because of the system's complexity. They don't offer refunds, and you have to pay a significant amount upfront for implementation, training, and setup. Setting up the software requires a lot of effort. If you decide to cancel, you have to send a letter by mail, as they don't accept cancellations via email. Even after they receive the letter, you still have to pay for 30 more days without using the system. The company has been around for a long time, but they've made the system overly technical.

What we really like about this system is the ability to personalize almost everything. They pay attention to client suggestions and we've seen some of our ideas incorporated into the software updates.
Cons

However, its not enough for the product to be up to date in these areas alone. We also need assistance in utilizing the software effectively to deliver excellent patient care and achieve incentives through programs like Meaningful Use and PQRS. This is where Practice Studio's exceptional customer service shines. Their technical staff is the most experienced and accessible I've encountered when using any software. It speaks volumes about an organization when you can build a relationship with the same support staff over a span of more than ten years! We briefly switched to another software product a few years ago, and that experience made us truly appreciate what Practice Studio offers in terms of technical support. We returned to Practice Studio within a few months. Practice Studio combines the best of both worlds: a well-established product with a strong track record and top-notch technical support, while always staying ahead of what's on the horizon. I highly recommend this product.

When we decided to transition to EHR, we closely examined four major providers and concluded that Practice Studio was as good as, if not better than, any other choice. Once you've selected software that gets the job done, the most crucial aspect is the support. This is where MicroFour truly excels. They promptly and effectively solve any issues that arise. The programmers are highly responsive to suggestions. While most of the software is fairly intuitive, MicroFour was among the top 5% of all EHR software firms ready for certified EHR Level Two. They have simplified the attestation process, and we received the promised incentives from the government.

While government regulations make all EHR systems confusing and expensive our office has determined that Practice Studios suite of products offers the best system we have seen to date. We have had the opportunity (and burden) to use at least 4 other major EHR software products and PS is the most efficient and adaptable one on the market. The support provided by Practice Studio is highly efficientand their response time is 10 times better than anything else we have experienced. I strongly recommend anyone in search of an EHR to carefully consider Practice Studio!
