Do Not Waste Your Time or Money

There are plenty of additional features that come with this software. The company has been around for a long time which adds to its reliability.

Cons

The software is not user friendly at all. Its quite complex and the interface reminds me of an outdated DOS system. The available packages are not satisfactory, considering the high cost. The support is okay, but the whole process is slow because of the system's complexity. They don't offer refunds, and you have to pay a significant amount upfront for implementation, training, and setup. Setting up the software requires a lot of effort. If you decide to cancel, you have to send a letter by mail, as they don't accept cancellations via email. Even after they receive the letter, you still have to pay for 30 more days without using the system. The company has been around for a long time, but they've made the system overly technical.

Expansive options for clinical practice!

PracticeStudio EHR Software is a one in all solution needed for practice. It helps to streamline daily tasks like scheduling, report analytics, and billing. Scheduling data is its prominent feature due to smooth navigation. A lot of options are available for your customized needs. Their customer service is great which is a plus point.

Cons

Highly functional but it has different providers for different tasks which makes it difficult to connect with providers when needed.

Easy modifications!

Pros

Modules are very easy to use and the modification process is not time-consuming at all. Even the codes can be modified. Billing and reconciliation features are smooth and easy to operate. Customer service is very responsive! Indeed this is a good software!

Cons

A little difficulty to face when navigating in a few areas but nothing that cant be fixed.

Highly suitable for multi-disciplinary practice

It is highly functional and supports our multi-disciplinary health service. It is one of the few software which handles everything from billing to scheduling to charting. Highly organized in terms of Medical records. Very good software in the market, I must say.

Frustrated by their customer support. Very slow.

This product has a very meaningful customer service and implementation. They are very consistent with their product features and updates. It is multi-disciplinary and caters all our clinical needs.

The positive aspect of this program is its electronic nature.

This software is not a good example of a truly user friendly EMR. It requires a lot of typing and it is not menu driven which increases the risk of human typographical errors. The support provided is inadequate.

Lots of features - can customize everything

What we really like about this system is the ability to personalize almost everything. They pay attention to client suggestions and we've seen some of our ideas incorporated into the software updates.

Cons

The software provides a lot of detailed information but the cost is definitely high. Its the most expensive program we have used for running our practice. As a small business we sometimes have to choose a basic and affordable option instead of all the fancy features.

Software for Internal Medicine practice

The software is very intuitive and can be customized to suit the specific needs of different providers. It excels in claims management and reporting. The customer support is always accessible, knowledgeable, and amiable.

The product has limited exposure in our area so new employees are not familiar with it.

Practice Studio has been the backbone of our practice for over a decade. What I like the most about Micro Four is their skill in navigating the ever changing technical and regulatory landscapes that Practice Studio operates in. However, its not enough for the product to be up to date in these areas alone. We also need assistance in utilizing the software effectively to deliver excellent patient care and achieve incentives through programs like Meaningful Use and PQRS. This is where Practice Studio's exceptional customer service shines. Their technical staff is the most experienced and accessible I've encountered when using any software. It speaks volumes about an organization when you can build a relationship with the same support staff over a span of more than ten years! We briefly switched to another software product a few years ago, and that experience made us truly appreciate what Practice Studio offers in terms of technical support. We returned to Practice Studio within a few months. Practice Studio combines the best of both worlds: a well-established product with a strong track record and top-notch technical support, while always staying ahead of what's on the horizon. I highly recommend this product.

I am very satisfied with the Practice Studio (X16) EHR software from MicroFour. The customer support has been excellent and I feel like I have a business "relationship" with both the sales and support staff. The software is comprehensive and admittedly, complex, meeting all the necessary documentation standards. However, with the training I received, I can use it efficiently and effectively, tailoring it to my exact needs. I can dive into the details or streamline records with just a few keystrokes. I receive timely and accurate responses to my questions and technical needs. I highly recommend Practice Studio for EHR.
